Clint Eastwood: “President Obama is the Greatest Hoax Ever Perpetrated on the American People”

Clint Eastwood finally broke his silence after his sensational RNC Convention speech. After a week of leftist attacks Eastwood did not change his opinion of Barack Obama. Eastwood told a local reporter,
“President Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.”
The Carmel Pine Cone reported:

AFTER A week as topic No. 1 in American politics, former Carmel Mayor Clint Eastwood said the outpouring of criticism from left-wing reporters and liberal politicians after his appearance at the Republican National Convention last Thursday night, followed by an avalanche of support on Twitter and in the blogosphere, is all the proof anybody needs that his 12-minute discourse achieved exactly what he intended it to.

“President Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people,” Eastwood told The Pine Cone this week. “Romney and Ryan would do a much better job running the country, and that’s what everybody needs to know. I may have irritated a lot of the lefties, but I was aiming for people in the middle.”

Breaking his silence

For five days after he thrilled or horrified the nation by talking to an empty chair representing Obama on the night Mitt Romney accepted the Republican nomination for president, Eastwood remained silent while pundits and critics debated whether his remarks, and the rambling way he made them, had helped or hurt Romney’s chances of winning in November.

But in a wide-ranging interview with The Pine Cone Tuesday from his home in Pebble Beach, he said he had conveyed the messages he wanted to convey, and that the spontaneous nature of his presentation was intentional, too.

“I had three points I wanted to make,” Eastwood said. “That not everybody in Hollywood is on the left, that Obama has broken a lot of the promises he made when he took office, and that the people should feel free to get rid of any politician who’s not doing a good job. But I didn’t make up my mind exactly what I was going to say until I said it.”

Eastwood’s appearance at the convention came after a personal request from Romney in August, soon after Eastwood endorsed the former Massachusetts governor at a fundraiser in Sun Valley, Idaho. But it was finalized only in the last week before the convention, along with an agreement to build suspense by keeping it secret until the last moment.

Meanwhile, Romney’s campaign aides asked for details about what Eastwood would say to the convention.

“They vett most of the people, but I told them, ‘You can’t do that with me, because I don’t know what I’m going to say,’” Eastwood recalled.

And while the Hollywood superstar has plenty of experience being adored by crowds, he said he hasn’t given a lot of speeches and admitted that, “I really don’t know how to.” He also hates using a teleprompter, so it was settled in his mind that when he spoke to the 10,000 people in the convention hall, and the millions more watching on television, he would do it extemporaneously.

Eastwood has in a few words summed up the Obama presidency.

He was handpicked by the left in order to perpetuate the socialism of FDR platform and then some; and he is succeeding.

You would have thought that the left would have picked someone who had real intellectual credentials. Doesn’t the left study macroeconomics?

Meanwhile, all of my (supposedly) very intelligent, lefty friends are STILL falling for it, all the while acting like they know something that we knuckle-draggers couldn’t possibly understand.

It is so nice when the end line is exactly what I thought 4 years ago. Empty suit then, empty suit now.

  • Ghost

Leftists’ heads are exploding! They are in Full Denial mode, betwixt befuddled and bewildered and don’t know what to do.

So, this is what we gotta do peoples. Keep it up, don’t let up, Keep up the pressure, strong!

if the morons at my workplace are any indication (it is) Leftists are in full meltdown.
Clint Eastwood’s RNC appearance will go down in political history as THE turning point for us Good Americans.

I heard it said at the time, that “Gran Torino” was Clint’s swan song farewell to America, that he wanted to leave us something like that before he left us. You should know folks, that movie is total metaphor.

Clint succeeded with that movie, and I suspect that once again, the Divine Hand of Providence has chosen ceratin people to perform certain vital functions, and maybe, just maybe, America CAN be restored to its Rightful place.

I loved every second of Mr. Eastwood’s speech! It was highly appropriate.

Obama must be “let go” before he totally destroys America.

Get a copy of Joel Gilbert’s ‘Dreams of My REAL Father’ to see just how big that hoax really is.

What’s more telling is that a star of his caliber had to wait until the end of his life to speak of for what he believes. While the rest of his “Left of Lenin” Communist coworkers are marching through the streets with OWS Black Bloc and cheering for Chairman Mao and Che Guevara.

How many more are out there it one geriatrics are able to “come out”? If it took Clint this long to speak out, what kind of black listing cloud of death do they have in the industry?

Can you imagine how horrific it must be to go through your entire life, surrounded by communist vermin, and not be able to verbally bitch slap them into a fetal position? I would go nuts.

The DNC convention was probably the last straw for Clint (and many of the rest of us).

Speakers at a convention that spent most of the time “defending women”:
    – Ted Kennedy who left his assistant/mistress to drown while he ran to consult with his lawyers and PR staff
    – Bill Clinton: world-famous womanizer, and alleged rapist
    – Barack Obama, defender of partial birth abortions, advocate of a group that performs gender-based abortions and non-apologist for his mysogynist pig cheerleader/donor, Bill Maher
    – Delegates & legislators who embrace groups like the Muslim Brotherhood who believe that women are PROPERTY
    – Elizabeth Warren who faked a Native American heritage in order to get educational grants and employment preference (and talked, incredibly, about “levelling the playing field” for minorities!!)
    – Sandra Fluke, who is so “liberated”, she believes women are not capable of doing most anything without government assistance, including paying $9 a month for their own birth control.

Four days of lies and hypocrisy. What a line-up! What a total waste of time and money.

#2 Larkin, and any others with “leftist” friends…

I don’t get this. I am uber-conservative. God, country, family, flag, military, Ozzie & Harriett, good citizen, helping people, etc. I mingle with people who are of the same frame of mind, because it goes MUCH deeper than just who you prefer on a political level…there are core, fundamental beliefs and values that separate conservatives from liberals. I wouldn’t eat the dog do off my lawn and call it food, nor does it offer me sustenance. Business and co-workers are one thing…we deal with what we need to…but actually choosing a lib for a friend is beyond my comprehension. We get on this blog and mock the liberals all day long. They are liars (I am not), they are loose moral(ed), (I am not), they have no use for God, country, military, family (the normal variety)…I do. I could go on an on. Outside the commonality of maybe, we all like pizza, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING a liberal can offer me. I can tell you, at times I want to get things at a liberal grocery store, and I can’t wait to get out of there. I feel soiled, and certainly out-numbered.
I guess human nature sums it up (for me) the best. Birds hang with birds. Lions hang with lions.
GOD (yes you libs, I used that dreaded word for you) has infused us with the biology to reject that which is fundamentally objectionable to us…the liberals fill that repulsion for me.

p.s. anyone can disagree with me if they desire…this is my opinion.
