Conservatives posted this billboard to welcome Obama back to Wisconsin.

Via Romney Response:
Digital billboards like the one above will be greeting President Obama on his trip to Wisconsin today. Follow the link to learn how President Obama failed to deliver the change he promised to Wisconsin.
Here’s more…
Four Years Ago Today, President Obama Told Wisconsin “We Must Change Washington Now”:
Candidate Obama, Four Years Ago Today In Wisconsin: “I’ve Been There Long Enough To Know This … The Ways Of Washington Must Change.” OBAMA: “But I’ve been there long enough to know this – if we want a government that puts the needs of middle-class families before the whims of lobbyists and politicians; if we want to grow this economy and prevent a crisis like this from ever happening again, then the ways of Washington must change. We must reform our lobbyist-driven politics. We must reform the waste and abuse in our government.” (Senator Barack Obama, Remarks, Green Bay, WI, 9/22/08)

It’s No Surprise That President Obama Has Given Up On “Change” – His Policies Have Left Middle-Class Americans Struggling:
More Than Twenty-Three Million Americans Are Unemployed, Underemployed, Or Have Stopped Looking For Work. (Bureau Of Labor Statistics, www.bls.gov, 9/10/12)
In August, The Unemployment Rate Either Increased Or Was Unchanged In 38 States. “The Labor Department says rates increased in 26 states. They fell in 12 states and were unchanged in the other 12.” (Christopher S. Rugaber, “Unemployment Rates Rise In Half Of US States,” The Associated Press, 9/21/12)
The Associated Press Headline: “Unemployment Rates Rise In Half Of US States” (Christopher S. Rugaber, “Unemployment Rates Rise In Half Of US States,” The Associated Press, 9/21/12)
“The Income Of The Typical U.S. Family Fell Or Was Flat In Almost Every State Last Year.” “The income of the typical U.S. family fell or was flat in almost every state last year, with the drop particularly steep in places where the economy has been hit hard by the housing bust.” (Josh Mitchell, “Incomes Fell Or Stagnated In Most States Last Year,” The Wall Street Journal, 9/20/12)
Under President Obama, The National Debt Has Surpassed $16 Trillion – An Increase Of $5.4 Trillion. (Department Of The Treasury, Accessed 9/20/12)
“The Gap Between Rich And Poor Americans Grew In 2011 As The Poverty Rate Remained At Almost A Two-Decade High.” “The gap between rich and poor Americans grew in 2011 as the poverty rate remained at almost a two-decade high. The U.S. Census Bureau released figures today that showed household income fell, underscoring a sputtering economic recovery that’s at the heart of the presidential campaign.” (Catherine Dodge and Frank Bass, “Rich-Poor Gap Widens To Most Since 1967 As Income Falls,” Bloomberg, 9/12/12)
Americans Are Struggling With “A Shrinking Middle Class.” “The findings highlight concerns about a shrinking middle class and pose another obstacle to getting the economy back on track, said Annette Bernhardt, policy co-director at the National Employment Law Project, which conducted the study.” (Jim Puzzanghera, “Majority Of New Jobs In Recovery Are Low-Paying, Study Finds,” Los Angeles Times, 8/31/12)

Peter Shapiro commented:
I know everyone wants to pretend that Romney is going to win, but let’s be serious here; he isn’t. He’s driven his own campaign off a cliff and I don’t see any way back, what people should be focussing on now is how to deal with another 4 years of Obama, and making sure that the 2016 Republican candidate is a likely winner.
Miller Time commented:
How ’bout a billboard with the single digit high sign, and Obama’s logo emblazoned right next to it.
OT
Has anyone noticed that putrid logo and coloration that identifies Obama? Not using the traditional tones of red, white & blue? We think it was done deliberately as to NOT identify with tradition and the American way. Only to be followed up with everything else UNAMERICAN he stands for!
Arkie commented:
Wrong, Peter. What we should be focusing on is making damn sure we get our asses down to the polls and vote for Romney, not running around like Chicken Little carrying on that the sky is falling. We are being told that all is hopeless for a Romney victory by the same scumbags in the press who last week were telling us that the attacks in Egypt and Libya were just a spontaneous little social get-together by a few peaceful Muslims who just happened by and got slightly irritated by a little free speech.
Esteban commented:
Peter Shapiro, bite me. You loser.
Red commented:
The logo in the attached photo has a red broken arrow pointing southeast as a major component of it’s design. Red southeastern arrows pointing downward are not inspiring nor confidence building.

There’s plenty of time to look at the 2016 campaign, so this is not the time to crap out (if in fact you are on our side). Right now we need to focus on Romney/Ryan, getting behind them as much as possible. The ARE polls that show BO is NOT running away with this election…even several DEM pundits have said it’s going to be close. No one should buy in to that 47% crap that was totally distorted the lefties are trying to cram down everybody’s throats.
Fact is, we won’t know the outcome until election day. Ryan is still a factor in this equation also. I can say, being an Arizonan, the excitement over the 2008 McCain/Palin campaign was NOT John McCain!!

***the word “southeastern” in the second sentence should not be there.

AMEN!
You know, I have a pretty large and varied group of friends on Facebook – almost 1500 of them, all ages, both sexes, from all over. For every 20 Mitt Romney posts I see come floating by I see one or two for Ron Paul and close to Zero for Obama. Something tells me that absent wholesale fraud or rigged voting machines, Peter is in for a big surprise come November 7.

#1 Peter Shapiro…Yeah right… lets set our campaign moral upon the words of a failed Democrat gubenatorial candidate from NJ…….. > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Shapiro_(financier)
This is what the Obama campaign has come to….” OK boys …… go out there…dress up as Romney supporters, and depress the hell out of Romney’s camp..repeat over and over how many mistakes Romney is making , how hopeless he is, how the polls have him down 5 , how its all over for him……just watch what Andrea Mitchell says and repeat after her . “

Astronomy Picture of the Day — Austrian Analemma
Explanation: Today, the Sun crosses the celestial equator heading south at 14:49 Universal Time. An equinox (equal night), this astronomical event marks the first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere and spring in the south. With the Sun on the celestial equator, Earth dwellers will experience nearly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. To celebrate, consider this careful record of the Sun’s yearly journey through southern Austrian skies. The scene is composed of images made at the same time each day, capturing the Sun’s position on dates from September 29, 2011 through September 9, 2012.

Hope Romney/Ryan prove me wrong. Don’t get me wrong, I’m giving as much money as I can and I’m helping with phones and willing to be poll watcher or anything else they want me to do, but it would nice to see SOMETHING happening. they need Sarah to get the base fired up.
