Tampa Police Find Pipes, Bricks and Other “Suspicious” Items on Rooftop Just Days Before RNC Convention (Video)

Tampa police found a stockpile of pipes, bricks and other “suspicious” items on a rooftop just days before the Republican Convention.
The police also found anarchist graffiti on the roof.

The radical leftist group Anonymous recently made calls for members to converge on Tampa for the RNC Convention.
Via The Jawa Report and Star Tribune reported:
Tampa police said Tuesday that they confiscated pipes, bricks and other “suspicious” items from the rooftop of a downtown building located about a mile from where next week’s Republican National Convention will be held.
Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor said she believes the items were put there by protesters for use during RNC demonstrations. She added that some RNC-related graffiti was also found at the building, but wouldn’t elaborate.
“It is disconcerting but it’s not surprising,” she said. “This is normally how things proceed leading up to a large event.”
Tampa will host the RNC at a downtown stadium from Aug. 27-30

I find this amazing. It also infuriates me. Being a Tampa resident I take great offense to a group coming into my town just to create chaos.
I do have a tremendous amount of faith in our police dept though.
Interestingly enough, this group wants to cause chaos in a town with a stand your ground law and a large amount of people licensed to carry. Unreal

Me thinks the anarchists are trying to replicate the success of the 1968 convention riots in Chicago, where the police did the actual rioting when they indiscriminately began beating protestors.
