‘Occupy The Truth For Peace and Justice’ Tea Party Organizers announced keynote speaker Michelle Malkin on Thursday.
** On Monday we will announce another TOP CONSERVATIVE who will be speaking at the Cleveland rally **
This Tea Party protest will shine the light on the dishonest coverage of the media of the attempted violent bombing planned by members of Occupy Cleveland. The event will be held at Willard Park/Freestamp Plaza in Cleveland, Ohio near the site of the planned bombing on August 18th.
Michelle Malkin is a widely read conservative blogger with one of the largest digital footprints in politics on the web. She is a Fox News contributor, syndicated writer and highly successful New York Times best selling author of multiple books on politics and culture and is the founder of Hot Air News Site and MichelleMalkin.com. Her keen understanding of the rapidly expanding social media arena, and its impact on shaping the political narrative, has resulted in her recent launch of Twitchy, a ground-breaking entrant in the Twitter curation/aggregation space.
Malkin will join speakers Marcus, Hoft, Tony Katz, and additional speakers to be announced in the coming week.
On Saturday the local #Occupy Cleveland organization announced their plans to attend the rally.
We’re asking that they leave their bombs at home.

let them crash it. it will give them a chance to meet some working people, you know the people they’re suppose to represent.
billy sol commented:
let these clowns talk .. . . it just reveals who they are, and what their intentions will lead to! Best FREE PR teaparty can receive!
donh commented:
Occupiers who ” announce ” they will attend are government funded fascist handlers who cannot be changed. They come to heckle and harass so their spell bound members won’t be deprogrammed from their mind control. There is a bridge to be built between the Tea Party and the occupiers who are being used to committ crimes and terror for fraudulant purposes. We can offer them a way out , and it begins with the truth …The genuine promise of America…. Our potential for real freedoms … What it means to be free and genuinely equal… Restoring through the hard work and long term patience…. electing quality people to faithfully serve America …people who will bring her back from the untoward tyranny of unelected councils dictating to sereve themselves and help themselves at your loss.
GotFreedom commented:
Will be there ready willing and able to stand up and speak out and if necessary, fight back for our country!
Conservative Ken commented:
“Occupy” has been itching for a fight with the Tea Party for a long time. They don’t want to throw the first punch. They want to provoke a fight then play victim.
They cannot call us racist
They cannot call us intolerant
They cannot win on the issues
They cannot win on Obama’s record
This is all the Bolsheviks have left.

Why can’t we have The Patriot Gaurd or an equivalent provide some policing?
Paula commented:
Haha…so will both of them be there?
GotFreedom commented:
To all Tea Partiers attending this rally, as we have in the past, do not let these goons (who may be being provoked from the WH, IMO) engage you in any type of action that would allow the govt to step in (read the following: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/aug/7/the-civil-war-of-2016/).
Initially, we heard about this “Civil War” on “InfoWars” and thought, maybe, but if a reputable paper like the Washington Times is questioning the possibility of such an action, can’t help but wonder if there isn’t something to be concerned about and prepared for?

Hoping the “Oathkeepers” will be on hand as well!

Will the 400 pound woman who protested outside the RNC Convention last year be there complaining she’s tired of waking up and not knowing what she’s going to feed her keeds?
Sarah commented:
Hopefully the protest won’t involve any imagery of women’s vaginas per Code Pink’s plan re: the RNC convention.
Re: the graphic. I can appreciate the talent that went into creating the image, but the gestalt of the image seems like that of our opponents. Very workerspartyesque. Doesn’t differentiate our voice from theirs.

Sarah @12 – Re: the graphic. I can appreciate the talent that went into creating the image, but the gestalt of the image seems like that of our opponents. Very workerspartyesque. Doesn’t differentiate our voice from theirs.
I think that’s the point. Using Soviet-style design mocks the Left. It’s adapting style and pose to a form of ridicule. As Alinsky pointed out in one of his rules: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.” Glenn Beck does the same thing in his GBTV intro with a raised clenched fist that turns 2 fingers into a raised “V”.
Multitude commented:
If you encounter Occupy, here are several important questions to ask them. Be compassionate; they usually mean well, but they’ve been horribly fooled by fascists who have tricked them into serving as the Progressive SA (Brownshirts).
1. Why are you defending an international killer who is now being investigated before war crimes commissions for his illegal drone program that he is using to execute innocent 16-year-old U.S. citizens who merely wanted to go visit their father in Yemen? You do realize this is a thousand times worse than Bush, don’t you?
2. Why are you defending someone who took Bush’s surveillance state and turned it inward to spy on you, us and other citizens? You do trust Wikileaks, don’t you? Haven’t you read this about Obama going all Nazi spying on us all? Why do you protect this paranoid man?

3. I assume you’ve read about Paris in May of ’68. You know, all the great radicals like Debord, Foucault and Deleuze. Do you think for an instant that they’d be on the side of the fascist production of power that Obama projects? Did any of them say “to get rid of neo-liberalism aka Bush and the Republicans, it is great to embrace fascism aka Italy and Germany pre-WW2?” If you’re in opposition to radical liberty, who will history make you out to be? (Hint: do you have a brown shirt on?)
Sarah commented:
@#13, Redwine, I hear your point, but to me it just looks like the tea party is mocking itself. It doesn’t seem like they’re mocking Occupy, but maybe that’s just me.
Redwine commented:
Multitude @14 – Exactly. There are two ways to confront the opposition:
1. Ridicule (see Alinsky’s tactic #5 in Rule for Radicals)
2. Use their language, their “perceptions”, to get your point across. They may see the logic at some point. Or, as Alinsky instructs: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
You explain the second way to get them to step across the boundary onto our side very well.
Redwine commented:
I understand your point very well, Sarah @15.
If you want to see how well this mockery through imitation is done – on steroids – just look at The People’s Cube site. The language and graphics are not just for the fun of it. They are dead serious, and can be used beyond the website. I think that Chris Loesch uses that tactic quite effectively in his graphic for the rally.

I think you’d be better off using a less soviet-style poster.
