Gay Rights Group Files Multiple Charges of Discrimination Against Chick-fil-A

The Civil Rights Agenda, a radical far left group, filed complaints against Chick-fil-A with the Department of Human Rights today.

Chicago Phoenix reported, via Free Republic:

The Civil Rights Agenda, a local LGBT rights advocacy group, filed multiple complaints with the Illinois Department of Human Rights Thursday, alleging that the Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A restaurant chain’s “intolerant corporate culture” violates Illinois law and a provision in the state’s Human Rights Act.

“In our current high speed media and social media environment, Chick-fil-A has announced and caused to be published, to hundreds of millions of people, that LGBT people are unacceptable and objectionable,” said Jacob Meister, Governing Board President of TCRA and the attorney who filed the complaint. “They have made it clear the lives of LGBT individuals are unacceptable to them and that same-gender families are unwelcome at Chick-fil-A.”

Anthony Martinez, executive director of TCRA, contends that Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy’s recent comments reiterating his opposition to same-sex marriage were more than just his own thoughts and that he was speaking on behalf of his company, stating the views as company policy.

“We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that,” Cathy said in the Baptist Press July 16. He said he was “guilty as charged” for supporting “the biblical definition of the family unit.”

Suddenly, speaking out against gay marriage is a crime.

next… they’ll sue the churches and synagogues that won’t have same sex marriages and of course conveniently ignore the mosques.

They were born that way, especially the Ts. Umm, yeah, right.

About they only birth defect (yup, they said it, not me) that those who suffer with do not want a cure.

  • Granny

Oh dear . . . they’ve said NOTHING of the sort. Keep pushing folks. Go right ahead. Because one of these fine days people are going to get darned good and sick of this in your face “tolerance” that is tolerant of no opinion or belief other than your own “gay rights” agenda.

Tolerance is a two way street!

This is a perfect examply of why we need LOSER PAYS legal protections.

LGBT better know as confused sexual beings.

It seems the entire agenda is to sue: Sue Chik Fil A, sue a photographer who won’t take pictures of your gay wedding, protest a baker who won’t bake a cake for your gay wedding. Later, sue any church that won’t perform your wedding. Make sure your rights trump everyone else’s. And then wonder why the rest of us don’t agree with you. (And I haven’t even mentioned the debauchery of the parades.) As one commenter mentioned in another post, why would you want a photographer who doesn’t agree with you to take pictures of your special day. STOP THE SUING: Eat somewhere else, hire a gay photographer and a gay baker. Hire a gay florist too. I did. The flowers were gorgeous.

yes, i believe many homosexuals are born “that way”..

lest they would have been a dying breed by now..

heck i wouldn’t put it past drug experimentation..

take a look at Autism, why such an enormous
outbreak in such a relatively short time span??

we know God didn’t do it..

  • The Watcher

    Okay…I want to see:

    1) these clowns get this case before a judge…
    2) the judge find them guilty of bringing a frivolous lawsuit…
    3) the judge fining them for costs and ‘pain and suffering’ for Chick-Fil-A…
    4) and the judge having the attorney who was stupid enough to bring the case disbarred as an embarrassment to the profession.

clarification: i am not saying drugs cause homosexuality..

my mention of Autism was an attempt to show the contrast between
something most likely artificially made v naturally made so to speak..

  • Walknot

This is all a deperate attempt by the gay community to feel normal. Truth is, no amount of laws will help. They have to first accept themselves as normal before anyone else will. They can claim they accept themselves as normal, however; their actions speak differently.

  • stonedome

have at it, militant homos…you’re only hurting yourselves. people like rahm and barack aren’t going to be there to push your agenda forever and the rest of society is going to come down on you like a ton of bricks. want to be provocative? you’re only going to make people see you in the light of the militant disrupters that you are and they will not be on your side ever again. if comes to a throw down, you lose. the black pastors have already signed off, who’s next?

    #10 … ditto!

Discovery, as they say, is a bitch.

  • Sasja

Has Chick-Fil-A refused to hire anyone based on their sexual preference? Have they refused service to anyone of the “gay” persuasion? Where then is the problem, other than not supporting marriage between two perverts?

  • Joe College

    Obama spreads the hate around.

  • Mad Hatter

Just a bunch of ginned up horse sh*t by a bunch of horses ass*s to try and discredit Chick-fil-A.

This is retaliation for the success of Chick-fil-A appreciation day.
