Hezbollah MP Says Purpose of Iranian Nuclear Weapon Is to “Finish Off” Israel (Video)

Hizbullah MP General (ret.) Walid Sakariya told Al-Manar TV that the purpose of the Iranian nuclear weapon is to – “Finish off the Zionist enterprise.”
Al-Manar is the Hezbollah television channel.

The Times of Israel reported:

Hezbollah MP Walid Sakariya told Lebanese television this week that the nuclear weapon Iran is allegedly developing is intended to annihilate Israel.

In a segment recorded and translated by MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute), Sakariya, also a retired general, told his interviewer on Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV Tuesday that should Iran acquire a nuclear weapon it would serve Syrian as well as Iranian interests, namely the eradication of the Jewish state.

“This nuclear weapon is intended to create a balance of terror with Israel, to finish off the Zionist enterprise, and to end all Israeli aggression against the Arab nation,” Sakariya said.

“The entire equation in the Middle East will change,” he asserted.

   More Muslim bravado from a culture that cannot drill its own oil wells, pull its own oil, build ships to transport that oil, build refineries to convert it to gasoline, build equipment to create all of the wonderful plastics and other materials that come from oil, build engines which run on gasoline….a culture that knows only how to beat women and blow up cafes, we’re really going to take their bravado seriously?

   They’re going to “finish off” Israel with one lousy bomb? Unlikely.

   On the other hand, Iran can be finished off with the nukes that Israel has, and it’s generally accepted that they have more than one, as in many.
