Rush Limbaugh got a huge laugh today after playing Romney’s birth certificate comments.
Thanks to Media Matters for the video:

From the video:

LIMBAUGH: Mitt Romney and Ryan, drawing a huge crowd in Michigan. And get this.

ROMNEY [audio clip]: I love being home in this place where Ann and I were raised, where both of us were born. No one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place that we were born and raised.

LIMBAUGH: Right on, right on, right on.

  1. Romney is more and more of a Pleasant Breathe of Fresh Air. HE DOES HAVE A HUMOROUS SIDE AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED, HUMOR BUT A LITTLE DIG TOO.

:) all the while, while saying it.

  2. Rush has avoided this issue like the plague, now he is going “right on”? Does anyone here know why he and all the rest of the talking head conservatives have been so gun shy with it?

I get a kick out of Rush.

  4. this ain’t humor folks, Good Morning

all it takes is one man with “standing” and the Greatest Fraud in American history, bless his heart, will be exposed and you might awaken from your Twilight Zone fog

well, if the OMG!- Obama Media Group allows it, because you won’t believe it unless Fox, CNN, CBS… tells you. You like to think of yourself as independent-minded- baloney! You need State media to validate yourself, you know damn well that if Fox, CNN, CBS… doesn’t spoon-feed you it didn’t happen

you’ve had FOUR YEARS to investigate this yourself – have you?

  5. I actually thought this was strategically foolish. There are so many issues that remain a mystery regarding Obama’s sealed records. The birth certificate issue, however, is one that is particularly loaded due to the whole “birther” label. I’m not defending it, I’m just stating the facts. Romney has got to win over those voters who are still undecided or in the middle and I’m not sure saying something the left can use to tie him to “birthers” is the best way to go. All of that said, I do appreciate Romney’s soft-spoken way of delivering a small hit. I just wish the hits were far more direct, far more strong, and much faster in coming.

Allen West nails it, as usual:

    Exactly!

Let’s get serious, folks. A clever underhanded comment now and then is nice, but we need to get going in a far more aggressive way. Go on offense. And label the Democrats as the “extremists.” Indeed.

  6. Anyone else notice that MediaMatters’ “Rush Limbaugh” voice doesn’t sound like Rush Limbaugh?

  7. #2, #3

said this before, I must be the last guy to remember this:

in January 2009, before the “I hope he fails” comment, Rush was besieged for help as the impossible was about to happen, a Usurper was being ushered in without Official resistance.

many Great Patriots petitioned the Electoral College, then Congress before they met on January 8, 2009 but even VP Cheney let us down by refusing to ask for objections, a clear violation of U.S. Code, turning away quickly after the roll call vote was announced.

Rush announced that he had been advised by a ‘very high source’, “don’t get anywhere near this, don’t touch this”. I’ve always suspected that source was Bush, Cheney or Scalia.

However, he has never shied away from the issue by making humor of it whenever he could, as opposed to Hewitt, Levin… who have mocked and ridiculed Constitutionalists like Alinskyites.

  8. House may move to expel Democrat Gauthier [Rest-Stop Child Molester]

Gauthier said earlier this week that he would not run for re-election after it became public that he engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old boy at a public rest stop near Duluth. GOP House Speaker Kurt Zellers and other Republicans have called on Gauthier to resign immediately. Democrats have asked him to not run for re-election but have stopped short of calling for his resignation.

Gauthier said he will not attend today’s Special Session because he doesn’t want to be a distraction.

I don’t get people like you.

you are so upset by Zero, well, is there a Better way to extinguish Him than by exposing His Fraudulency? Since when do we refrain from upholding The Constitution?!

or maybe, you don’t Really believe in The Constitution. Ohh, you say you do, but Do Ya’, Do Ya’?!

  11. just to show you people how far we have fallen:

are you people aware that The Hildebeast is ineligible to be Secretary of State- oh yes

are you people aware that The Godfather is ineligible to be Boss of Chicago? -oh yes

are you people aware that Moonbeam is ineligible to be Governator of Mexifornia? – oh yes
and before assuming the Governator’s job he was ineligible to be Attorney General – oh yes

Yo! people- if you’re truly interested in saving your Country you sure as hell better get on the ball, it’s slipping right through your hands and you don’t realize it- little by little by little

how many threads can you pull from a sweater before you don’t have a sweater anymore?

But… never mind, you’re so practical, move along, nothing to see here, nothing to get upset

  13. Thing is, the media has so dominated the entire issue of Obama’s electability with their slanderous ‘birther’ label that I assume most all Americans aren’t fully and accurately aware of exactly what the problem is. Surely they don’t know the anomalies surrounding his birth certificate. Surely they do not understand that Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to serve as President due to the natural born citizen clause, because his father is a British subject – being Kenyan at a time when Kenya was a British colony —- he therefore bestowed his British citizenship upon Obama, when the Constitution states a President must be a natural born citizen defined as being born of two American citizens. Oh, if only we had an unbiased media to report these things to the unwashed masses! If only they knew that Obama was able to visit Pakistan at a time when US Citizens were not allowed into that country! If only they knew that Obama was adopted by his Indonesian father so he could attend Muslim-only madrasses and schools, and he never renounced his Indonesian citizenship, making him yet ANOTHER duel-citizen! All these things that we ‘birthers’ are slandered for, these are legitimate problems with our POTUS. Oh if ONLY we could get this accurate info out to the public!

  14. Ghost,

To connect with a good portion of the populace, you can’t use anger and come across as all bitter and constipated. That just scares them off. They don’t like intense people. They don’t like to believe there are any problems. They just want to be left alone to play, and whichever party enables that the most, they’ll go along with.

Laughing at what a joke Obama is — hell, the guy is plagued by all sorts of disasters he helped create. Birth records he could have put to rest quickly but for some bizarre reason refused for years, only to put out some photoshopped document with a bunch of items that raise more questions than answer. College records he continues to hide. All sorts of stuff he obsessively conceals. Maybe he’s just a weirdo. Maybe he’s a narcissist and can’t handle attention into his past. Or maybe there’s something else he’s afraid someone will stumble upon if he starts disclosing documents, so draw the line and refuse to give anything.

But it’s just crazy. He’s worse than Ron Paul tin foil craaaaaazy. He’s loony, loopy and nutty. It’s just like the Sybil multiple personalities he’s flipping through. Which Obama will show up to a speech? The smart and smug know-it-all Marxist professor? The word-clipping Occupy street agitator? The “I’m an authentic black” liberation theologist? The “I pee sitting down – don’t tell Michelle I’m snacking on a bag of burgers and still smoking, and no, it’s not tobacco” loser?

He’s a hoot, like the soiled, crazy man chasing imaginary animals around the street and yelling at the air.

  15. #14 (Ahem. #11 – the minute somebody calls me “you people” I immediately shut them off) –

Anywho, #14 – I WONDERED about that, about obama’s parents not being American citizens which IS a known fact. I was curious when while we were still waiting to hear Romney’s VP pick I heard on the news – in an offhanded way – that Rubio wasn’t actually eligible because his parents were Cuban or some such thing.

I think the reason people ignore this is because when you raise the question, you’re immediately labelled a “birther” (read “fringe looney”) and that’s that. I of course don’t think of myself as a looney, but all the things you’ve pointed out are facts.

It’s too late now, but perhaps if obama were to STEAL the election (again – (ooh! A looney!)), this could prove useful.

  16. #15, #16

I can’t be upset with you two since you both see the light, well, enough anyway.

but, I am upset that America is teetering on the ledge, for no damn good reason but that there are Leftists (and Islamists) who want to destroy this Greatest Country that ever was, and are doing it from within

I will never back off from intensity, or anger as some people perceive it, nor will I ever be concerned about the Professional Offense-Takers

I’m glad you got the Perot ’92 reference- surely you remember how sane people were puzzled at all that nonsensical kerfuffle-commotion from the Professional Offense-Takers. Some of us actually sympathized with Perot over that, for awhile. My use of it was meant to awaken, it worked with you

As for being afraid to show intensity, well I’m damn glad there were intense people back in 1776, and again in 1861 to wipe the stain of slavery from our land, and again in 1917 to defeat the Kaiser and again in 1941 to give us all, here now, entire lifetimes of Peace and Prosperity

We today did nothing to earn our wonderful lives, (We Americans [y'like that better?] live like Kings of yore, and are still the envy of everyone all over the world) but we inherited our Exceptional place in the world because of the Anger and Intensity of those who went before

I don’t care if ‘Smoothies’ take the lead, as long as they’re doing what they should do (Boehner, Not)

I will NEVER! apologize for Standing Loud and Strong! for American Liberty and Rule of Law and if I ever shrink from that duty all I need do is visit a National Cemetery

and if some people don’t like it, well, I guess they don’t like alarm clocks either

  17. “For history does not long entrust the care of Freedom to the weak or the timid”
-Dwight David Eisenhower, Inaugural address 195?

if you think anger and intensity has no place in this campaign, then this is not for you, http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=S6h9IJ15rdQ

We Fight. We FIGHT. WE FIGHT!
and maybe you’ll get to enjoy the fruits of that Victory borne of Anger
