There’s no possibility that child understands the complex implications of the words he’s mouthing and the frustration/anger he’s being encouraged to display.

The sentiment is admirable, the execution is not charming.

Children that age are strongly motivated to please their parents, or mirror them. That is a good thing, especially when the parents are actively training the child in good values and making moral decisions. I would be delighted if my own had written such ideas on his own when he was that age, or spoken them on his own initiative. I would not have coached him to read lines on camera, or shown his recordings publicly.

Children, by definition, are not mature. We would be wise to take advice, and promote advice, from mature people only. Children are usually cute, like this boy is, but cute is not a moral quality.

Playing with sticks as if they were guns, and realistic toy guns, is okay if you’re playing with friends in the backyard. I almost got spanked for pulling a knife on a friend while playing in a game. I would never aim even a toy gun at a stranger and pull the trigger, and getting shot, even from a video, is not funny.

I would advise the boy’s father to reconsider the wisdom of producing and publishing this video. That child is not being taught safe gun discipline, and is getting more attention than any six-year-old can deal with wisely.

I agree in general with keeping the children out of things (even though much of Subprime’s base consists of America’s children, the people who are so infantilized thay can’t seem to even get photo-IDs).

However, at least this child is getting steered in the right direction. A liberal would have had his child advocating sodomite marriage, a “woman’s right to choose” (“Choose what, Mommy?”)socialized medicine, and the like.

Children should not be steered in a “poliitical” direction at 6 years old. Frankly, I’m a little surprised that Mr. Hoft thinks this is a good idea and wants to promote it!

I tried to preserve the innocence of my children a long as possible. They know the realities of the world now that they are adults and were not the least bit harmed by a little sheltering!

I noticed the Obama sycophants are now threatening to kill the kid, no surprise there, but it’s probably not a good idea to put a kid out there for political reasons. Let him be a kid, and leave the politics for the grownups. Of course, using kids for a political message has been one of the primary tools of the Left. They used it to get Obamacare passed, and to cheerlead for Dear Leader every chance they get.

It wasn’t but a couple of years ago that a video was created showing young school children singing the Obama song in New Jersey. Did they really understand what they were being directed to do? It gave me the creeps. Then there was the conservative kid who’s name escapes me, who was all the rage a few years ago. Apparently, he’s now what many would define as a flaming liberal, and he’s out there making comments about his liberal epiphany. Fine to teach kids about morals and such, but politics at such a young age means nothing to them, and i doesn’t add one bit to adult conversation.
