    I bet those women were thrilled – we should be applauding the step forward. I’ll bet in another 10 years those women will be dressed like all other athletes for their competitions. As for the opening ceremonies, the men were in costume too.

    We noted that IOC Prez Jock Rogge (in his speech immediately after the Parade of Nations) commended the Great Oly movement because for the first time every nation sent women athletes and so what a Great Day for Gender Equality, and everyone dutifully applauded that Great Leftist feelgood mantra because as we all know The Left’s first priority is Equality not Liberty and as we all know he was talking about the Arab States because the camera showed us those wonderful Islamic participants and yada, yada, yada

    What on earth is so holy about a headscarf? A Saudi woman told me that rule is NOT in the Koran. It’s just because Mo had one of his wives cover up due to jealously if a man looked at her. Does anyone know more about this?

    btw, what should be done with nations whose athletes refuse to participate with Israel? should they receive the same treatment as that female Greek athlete? after all, we love Equality, right?
