Radical Atheists Sue Restaurant For Offering Discounts to Sunday Worshippers (Video)

Radical atheists filed complaints against a restaurant for discrimination. Prudhomme’s Lost Cajun Kitchen offers discounts to Sunday worshippers.

A family-owned restaurant in Pennsylvania is under a state discrimination investigation for offering a ten percent discount for diners who present a church bulletin on Sundays.
The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission confirmed there is an investigation against Prudhomme’s Lost Cajun Kitchen in the town of Columbia. The complaint was filed by John Wolff, a retired electrical engineer.
“I did this not out of spite, but out of a feeling against the prevailing self-righteousness that stems from religion, particular in Lancaster County,” Wolff told the York Daily Record. “I don’t consider it an earth-shaking affair, but in this area in particular, we seem to have so many self-righteous religious people, so it just annoys me.”
According to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, a restaurant classified as a public accomodation. As such, restaurants are not allowed to discriminate based on religion — among other things.
Sharon Prudhomme, who owns the restaurant along with her husband, said she’s not discriminating against anybody – and plans on fighting the charges.

Why is the church bulletin any different from a coupon? It is a piece of paper, evidently easily available at any church and probably also lying around in a parking lot either at a church or at the restaurant, and requires no act of conversion or belief on the part of the restaurant patron.

I’m sick of atheists . This guys’ argument is specious. He feels slighted because he doesn’t go to church. Waaaaa. Couldn’t he just cop a church bulletin ? Could he not go to church, even as an atheist and receive his discount? Odds are very high this guy doesn’t even go to that diner… he just walked by it or heard about their discount and decided to sue.. because it’s all about him…

Like all Leftist fools…sorry for the redundancy…the Pavlov’s dog reaction to anything they don’t like is to file a lawsuit. If the restaurant ADDED 10% to the price if you DIDN’T have a bulletin, he might have a case. Maybe he needs to sue EVERY business that gives a SENIOR discount, too. That is AGE discrimination according to his logic…sorry for assuming his actions are based on any logic…that would require a BRAIN.
…and since when did the USA need a “Human Relations Commission”? Isn’t that what they call the bureau of tyrants who keep denying more and more rights to Christians in Canada?

I think it is very important to identify the affiliation of each case like this in the news. Something like “this complaint was filed by a dual citizen of israel.”

He says Christians are no better than he is. I disagree. They dont try and force ridiculous lawsuits on people and make up things to be offended at.
