Last week - Obama announces Swiss fundraiser.
Today - Barack Obama slams Governor Mitt Romney for his Swiss bank account.

I guess if people know about the Swiss bank account and Romney isn’t in jail, the account must be totally legal; given Romney’s running against the guy who currently controls – and has used (remember Joe the Plumber?) – the iRS, the account must be supra-legal.

Lots of Americans have Swiss bank accounts. An American politician that raises money in Switzerland, now that is odd.

Has anybody asked whether the Obama Campaign has a Swiss bank account? And exactly what steps they have taken to assure that they accept funds only from Americans? Isn’t that hard to do, with a Swiss account?

There’s a big difference between someone who, through financial expertise, preserves and protects his business and professional assets via the Swiss banking system; and the highest Public Official in Our Country, with unabashed abandon, seeking foreign monies to finance his own re-election.

There’s nothing illegal about having a Swiss bank account, any more than it’s illegal to have a bank account in Keokuk or the south side of Chicago.

What’s illegal is not reporting it.

What I have an ethical problem with is Obama grubbing for campaign cash from foreign countries.

Anyone with a Swiss bank account must know enough about making money and running profitable companies to NEED a Swiss bank account. That sure sounds like a handy skill for a president to have.

I’d take a president with a Swiss bank account over a president with a $5 TRILLION dollar unpaid debt on his credit history ANY DAY.
