Obama now says he wants to rebuild the US economy.
AFP reported:
US President Barack Obama said Saturday the United States needed to do more than just reclaim jobs lost to the recession, as he called for rebuilding the economy to make it secure for future generations.
“Our mission isn’t just to put people back to work – it’s to rebuild an economy where that work pays; an economy in which everyone who works hard has the chance to get ahead,” Obama said in his radio and Internet address.
The comment came after new Labor Department statistics showed that the June jobless rate was unchanged from May at 8.2 percent, with 12.7 million people in the ranks of the unemployed.
The United States added only 80,000 jobs in June, the third month of weak jobs growth amid a sluggish economy that has kept hiring on hold, the department data made public on Friday showed.
Only 80,000 jobs were created in June.
85,000 went on disability.

Weren’t they “rebuilding the economy” when they loaned money to Solyndra? And now they are evidently “rebuilding the economy” by sending millions of taxpayer-borrowed dollars to start solar companies IN AFRICA. “Rebuilding” when taxpayer bailed out GM built plants in China? The rebuilding Obama does seems to create jobs everywhere else…talk about outsourcing…

Thanks to the failed policies and anti-business actions of OBOZO and his dictatorial regime, the American economy is no longer on life support – it is stone cold dead. Rigor mortis has passed and the economy has now become just a decaying, stinking corpse. In spite of this, bailout bernanke, to justify his massive salary and humongous benefits, continues to provide mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to this rotting pile. All that is doing is creating asset and bond bubbles which help his Wall Street masters reap massive profits, but which also will inevitably collapse causing equally massive harm to the poor and middle class. Even with bailout bernanke’s desperate and potentially harmful actions, the labor force participation rate – the most significant measure of US employment – continues to decline and is now at more than a 30 YEAR LOW, while “disability” claims and food stamp recipients are at an all time high.
If bailout bernanke and the feckless Fed really wanted to help the US economy (which they don’t – they just want BILLION DOLLAR profits for Big Banks and Wall Street), they would do what the rest of us must do: defeat OBOZO and elect Romney.

If Mr. Obama was in fact an enemy saboteur, trying to do everything possible to wreck America’s economy, what would he be doing differently? Not much. It has taken three and a half years into Barack Obama’s presidency for most Americans to realize that he has been deliberately destroying America by driving up the nation’s debt and deficit, reducing privately held wealth, forcing millions onto the public dole, undermining its moral structure, and weakening the nation’s reputation internationally..

Obama’s Perverse Plan for Permanent Recession
Indeed, Obama is so ideologically opposed to lower rates that, perversely, what he has done throughout his presidency is the opposite of tax reform. He has expanded the loopholes and increased rates. Those loopholes have included new and expanded welfare tax credits and corporate welfare like his green energy handouts. When his own Simpson-Bowles Commission recommended real tax reform closing loopholes in return for reducing rates, Obama only paid lip service to it, but didn’t lift a finger to advance the proposals.

Thankfully in our society there are safety nets to help people, which has made the bad economic picture we have not seem as bad, make some still think Obama is doing a good job because they are still surviving, they have adjusted their lives, but they are doing OK, but the safety nets are taking on too much weight and they soon will collapse.

How about we start by ditching all those Democrat-backed enterprises that were at the root of the crash in 2008, like both GSE’s and the Community Reinvestment Act? Then a magnifying glass should be taken to the entire U.S. government structure and eliminating that which isn’t needed, such as the Education Dept, DHS, HUD, HHS, and the Energy Dept.
