President Barack Obama’s campaign spent more than it took in over the month of May despite his frenetic fundraising schedule, leaving the massive operation with just shy of $110 million dollars cash on hand against $115 million one month earlier.
The embattled incumbent scooped up a hair over $39 million dollars but spent nearly $44.6 million, according to a formal filing with the Federal Election Commission. A more detailed breakdown can be found here.
The figures followed the release of data showing Republican standard-bearer Mitt Romney outraised Obama and Democrats in May—the first time the former Massachusetts governor topped the president in the 2012 cycle.
A senior Obama campaign strategist, briefing reporters on condition of anonymity, said earlier in the day that Romney would best his earlier total — and predicted that the Republican’s hauls, plus unrestricted super-PAC cash, would mean “we’re going to be the first incumbent outspent.

What ever happened to the billion dollars that was sitting and waiting for Obama and his re-election? That was the talking point for the Left for at least a few months. Now they are turning it around to make it look like Romney having more money is a show of the ‘rich’ backing him, yadda, yadda, and what the hell ever. It irritates the heck out of me how the Left treats the American voter as an idiot. Not only an idiot, but one that doesn’t have any kind of memory process to boot! Over and over, Obama says one thing one day, a month or year or whatever goes by and boom! He denies that it was said or it was ‘taken out of context’ or whatever!
The villagers are listening to his crying wolf any more. The rats are jumping ship and everyone knows it. It’s been interesting, even entertaining to see his house of cards starting to crumble, but damn if it’s not irritating to be deemed dimwitted or memory challenged by the likes of Obama and his ilk!
As for not having the money….I bet the numbers are wrong anyways, who knows how many mom & pop establishments he’s bilked out of the price of a meal! Ha!

What do the fools expect when their “donors” from the world of finance have been demonized for months on end now? And, the only reason they keep up the lawsuits on who contributes to the evil republican super-pacs is because they must try to use their thuggery on them or else extort them into contributing to the terrorizer-in-chief.
Soros must be peod at Teh Won and therefore not providing all the illegal foreign donations that he did last time. Too bad!
It does, however, mean that the union thugs will be out in force when it gets closer to November. Everyone had better beware as well as aware of their surroundings at all times!

This is the latest Democratic effort to slow down Crossroads GPS, run by former aide to President George W. If you’re a legal nerd and you have a few million dollars around that you’re not using, you might consider bidding on George Washington’s personal copy of the United States Constitution, which is up for sale at an auction on Friday. The text of Article II is even marked up with Washington’s own margin notes. That’s just way cool. The auction house estimates the copy will go for $2 million to $3 million, so I think I’ll pass it up. But still, way cool.

I am scratching my butt and thinking where is a jam in my scam?
I tapped my donors for $40,000.00 per dinner plate during numerous jet-set fund raisers and found that I lost $5,000,000.00! My donors suck!
When you add in the weed, coke, and booze, hotels, valet parking and Teleprompters not to mention the gas for my limousine and my Jetliner it gets out of hand. So, I will just have to tap my ultra-rich Limousine Liberals for more money this month!
Let me be clear, my rich donors are like a fat cow ready to be milked. You stuff some food in the cow’s mouth, grab its teats and milk away! It’s that easy!
