I’m glad we don’t have those cellphone laws here in Missouri yet.
Arrested? Not ticketed?
Sheesh
Patty commented:
Wow, slow news day. But because it is Fox’s Chris Wallace I would suppose this administration is looking for Fox employees. And it would be impossible they had a tag on him. Who knows but who cares. Fox is still number one. Not matter what this administration does, live with it.

one would think he could afford one of those hands free head sets..
if they too are illegal, he could always say he was talking to himself,
which i’m sure he does anyways..
OT..

Wow! Now Americans are being arrested!!???? for talking on a cell phone while driving? A ticket isnt good enough?? You have to book him??
We the poeple need to stop these madmen! Enough is enough! Criminals run rampant, do whatever the eff they want, but talking on a cell phone is arrestable now?? We have lost our minds!

Actually, Chris Wallace was in Brian Kilmeade’s radio show at 9:06am CST on my Media Player & didn’t say anything about it. Now…Kimmeade’s show

OK
But where I’m from, this is called “pulled over”, not “arrested”.
Maybe the cop will ask him if he thinks he’s a flake.
Toddski commented:
I’m sorry Chris got arrested, but I’m waiting for that law to come to Florida……Everyone, and I mean everyone drives while on the phone……The accidents are ridiculous, not to mention that most people down here are in the clouds …..It must be too much heat !

Don’t miss this! It sort of applies to what happens when you speak ill of this administration ( as Chris Wallace has been heard to do) and why you don’t assume a snake is dead until the body is separated from the head. ☻

An extremely important movie is coming this summer – – It is called simply “2016”.
The speaker here is Dinesh D’Souza, college president in New York and author of many New York Times best sellers. The movie is from Gerald R. Molen, producer of Academy Award winning Schindler’s List, Jurrasic Park, Brave Heart.
It explains in plain language who Barack Obama really is, what he stands for, and the dangers of him being reelected for another four years.

Stossel had this debate with the RINO-ish Bill O’Reilly. Stossel pointed out that in states that implemented these laws the accident rate doesn’t go down. It merely allows the police to selectively enforce a squishy law.
snap boy commented:
They arrest people rather than issue a ticket?

Chris Wallace is a liberal–wonder why they didn’t just let him go. Remember when Jim Treacher got hit crossing the street in DC in the crosswalk –by a State Dept. vehicle that left the scene of the accident. Treacher got a ticket for “jaywalking” and a shattered knee. This Government is out of control.

Even in the USS of Kalifornia the use of hands-free cellular equipment is allowed. If stopped while texting/talking on cell phone while driving without use of this approved equipment, a person is subject to a $20.00 fine (first offense), $50.00 fine for each offense thereafter. I don’t know, off hand, what the fine/punishment is for chronic offenders. But arrested? That seems pretty harsh.

I hope that someone can clarify, and that GP can prominently update, on whether we are talking about a ticket or an actual arrest. I live in DC (area), and yeah, it is against the law to speak on your cell phone while driving. But arrested sounds a bit extreme, and I would tend to think Wallace was being a bit hyperbolic upon the event. I would shocked to hear that he actually was taken into custody.
I’ll dig around a bit, but if anyone comes across a clarification or update, please chime in.

This County: land of the free and home of the brave~ has become nothing but a nanny state where we all should just lie down, put our hands behind our back and chant, “I’ll do it your way”…..

Couldn’t happen to a more arrogant man – with the exception of Obama, of course.
