Clinton Dings Obama at Joint Fundraiser: “I’m the Only Guy Who Gave You Four Surplus Budgets” (Video)

Barack Obama and Bill Clinton held a joint fundraiser yesterday in New York City. During his introduction of the president Bill Clinton reminded the audience of the difference between his record and Barack Obama’s record.
“And, I care about the long term debt of the country a lot. Remember me, I’m the only guy that gave you four surplus budgets out of the eight I sent.”
Bill Clinton wasn’t kidding. Obama tripled the national deficit his first year in office and never looked back.

UPDATE: ( From J. Hoft) During Bill Clinton’s presidency the Republican Congress presented numerous balanced budgets to Clinton that he would not sign. He said a balanced budget was not a priority. Eventually he did sign the Gingrich balanced budget but only after Republicans were forced to shut down some government services to get him to sign the bill into law. Conveniently now he takes credit for the balanced budgets – at least one of which was under GW Bush’s presidency. Once a liar always a liar.

Clinton got lucky… He had the tech bubble on his watch and he had GOP congress force the balanced budget on him.

I am surprised that Bill did not remind the crowd that HE was our country’s first black President. . with roots in the deep South. . and could feel their pain (as well as many of their wives & daughters. . lol).
Interestingly, for Clinton to be touting Obama after praising Romney, makes one wonder what incriminating evidence Obama & Axelrod have on Bill. . . Pictures, videos, or stained dresses?

Yeah, I remember you Bill.Your the guy who past what, 4 budgets that we’re so out of line that if the Republicans hadn’t reigned you in you wouldn’t have that claim to fame, you would have gone on your tax and spend agenda all the way down the line.
But what is good for the goose is good for the gander so yes, you are the president that gave us budget surplus’s(with a lot of help that you didn’t want).

I see comments about a Republican congress was Bills success. Yes that is a good point. It was a PART of why Clinton gave us good government. Bill worked better with the Republicans then he did with Democrats. The Democrats fought with him over policy and the Republicans worked with him. That is because Bill Clinton and George Bush Sr. see things alike and why they work well together. Bush had put a lot of foundation work in and Bill just built on it and tweaked it for maximum results but he had to wait until he had a reasonable congress to do so. Both believed that the country was as healthy as the middle class was strong. Neither were a believer in trickle down or power by a few secures the countries health. They were we the people Presidents not elitist Presidents like the two after them. Republican do not make the mistake and think all Democrats are alike! That is no more true then all Republicans are alike. Even your group of candidates this year were light years apart on government policy. FYI Hillary would make a better President then either Obama or Romney because of these facts.

Yet, it is obvious, he doesn’t like Obama and that is a good reason to keep him around. AT LEAST FOR A WHILE LONGER.

I’ll take a thousand Clintons over one Obama. A Bill Clinton will not deliberately enact a plan to destroy the country he loves.
Helloooo GOP………….Jim has up a chart that is the most effective at a glance than anything anyone will ever put in an ad. All you have to do is make the red more readable and really point out the Bush years and where Pelosi took over. Let a voice point it out. It is more effective than any argument you will ever make.
Hellooo Romney camp………Jim has up a chart that will fit into that really good ad campaign you have been waging. It is the picture that’s worth a thousand……….
If this chart was run until every person watching TV immediately could identify it (kinda like the pig), then you would understand old MSM.

What Attorney General Holder has been complaining loudly about, and launching federal lawsuits about, are states that require photo identification to vote. Holder calls this blocking minority “access” to the voting booths.
Since millions of black Americans — like millions of white Americans — are confronted with demands for photo identification at airports, banks and innumerable other institutions, it is a little much to claim that requiring the same thing to vote is denying the right to vote. But Holder’s chutzpah is up to the task.
Attorney General Holder claims that the states’ requirement of photo identification for voting, in order to prevent voter fraud, is just a pretext for discriminating against blacks and other minorities. He apparently sees no voter fraud, hears no voter fraud and speaks no voter fraud.
Despite Holder’s claim, a little experiment in his own home voting district showed how easy it is to commit voter fraud. An actor — a white actor, at that — went to a voting place where Eric Holder is registered to vote, and told them that he was Eric Holder.

Hillary and Bill liked it in the White House, but Hillary is a good little soldier. She take orders like a good little private. There will be no revolt against Obama! As for Bill, he is seeing how much he can get away with. He throws out left-handed compliments to see if he gets any telephone calls. When he goes too far, he will be reined in.
