We Will Not Be Silent
In the past year bloggers such as Aaron Walker (Aaron Worthington), Stacy McCain, Patterico and Liberty Chick have been harassed and threatened by a terrorist known as the “Speedway Bomber” Brett Kimberlin. Kimberlin was convicted of several federal felonies in 1981 and sentenced to 50 years for terrorizing an Indiana town with a weeklong bombing spree. Kimberlin was released from prison in 2000 and since his release he has harassed and threatened anyone who dares to write about his past or current actions. Stacy McCain has not been silenced by this terrorist. He has been forced to leave his home in order to continue his investigation from an undisclosed location.
Brett Kimberlin is a nightmare. In fact, he is the stuff nightmares are made of. American citizens, exercising their First Amendment right to speak freely, are being viciously targeted and terrorized by a George Soros-funded violent domestic terrorist. Today, in a strong showing of unity, spearheaded by Michelle Malkin, bloggers across the country are standing together to expose this predator of free speech to the world.

Kudos Jim – one of the best posts I saw today (and it truly has been solidarity against this kind of Orwellian suppression of speech that is apparently supported by Barbara Streisand, the Tides Foundation and other yahoos).

But late in the race, a federal prisoner named Brett Kimberlin (aka the Speedway Bomber) was telling reporters he once sold drugs to Dan Quayle, and that Quayle might have sold some himself. A rumor reached me that years earlier, a grand jury examining the evidence had covered it up under pressure from prosecutors close to Quayle’s family. If I could find the disgruntled grand jurors and convince them to talk, we’d win — and I’d be a hero.
So I bought a plane ticket to Indianapolis and holed up in the airport Holiday Inn with photocopied courthouse records. After a day of cold-calling people who had no idea what I was talking about, I knew I was on a fool’s errand. My sleuthing wasn’t illegal, just criminally incompetent and a little slimy. I suppose we would have used the information if it were true, but how naive and desperate could I have been to believe that I would uncover a last-minute bombshell that every news organization in America had missed? That was embarrassing — maybe not to President-elect Clinton, but certainly to me.

Kimberlin’s probably judgment-proof, but those who funded him are not.
I’d suggest giving him a LOT of attention. In particular, a few TV cameras and an interview or two would be great. Just get him talking.

Maybe the media will finally wake up to the fact that Brietbart’s untimely death …and highly suspicious poisoning of his coroner need investigating …Then look into the Seal Team 6 helicopter crash that followed within weeks of letting Hollywood into top secret facilities.
