China & Russia Launch First Ever Joint Naval Exercises in Yellow Sea (Video)

China and Russia launched their first ever joint naval exercises today in the Yellow Sea. The exercises will last until April 27th.
The AP reported, via Free Republic:
China and Russia launched joint naval exercises Sunday that highlight warming ties between their militaries and growing cooperation in international affairs.
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said the six days of drills feature simulated anti-aircraft, anti-submarine and search-and-rescue operations, including electronic countermeasures and other sensitive technologies.
Retired major general Yin Zhuo said it shows a high degree of trust between the sides.
“It’s an excellent exchange for China to be able to drill jointly in such sensitive areas,” Yin told CCTV.
China’s Defense Ministry said China was sending two submarines and 16 ships to take part, including destroyers, escort vessels and hospital ships. The deputy chiefs of the countries’ navies oversaw the start of drills in the northeastern Chinese port of Qingdao, the home of China’s northern fleet.

God used sinners and men of low stature to do his great work. Now America needs a man who fears God and who is humble to step forward and lead.

bg – that was a good video, but it didn’t address how Obama is destroying the U.S. military in might and morale, and how Obama is giving away vitals military secrets to its enemies, ie. Russia, who in turn would be sharing them with China and Iran.

I keep wondering whether the present scandal is being used as an excuse to force out people who were not at all involved. The simple truth is that Democrats have no problem with people who engage in sexual misconduct or drug use (including cocaine) provided always the accused people are Democrats. Yet this time, we have all this sweeping action and a bunch of firings. I keep wondering whether those people were fired for misconduct, or for suspicions surrounding the appearance of the video linked below.

And look at all of that empty territory just north of the Chinese border, occupied by a half dozen Siberians and their sled dogs. And so chock full of resources by the way. Having spent 25 years in a real blue water Navy, I’m not too disturbed by Russia joining with China in an exercise.
“Target rich environment” is a term that comes to mind.
Also, “entertainment” and “clusterf$ck”
Russia hasn’t operated as a fleet for years and can barely keep its existing fleet afloat.
China barely has a blue water navy at all.
