Awful!… Family Misses Flight After Obama TSA Targets Disabled Girl

It’s an Obama world.
A New York family missed their flight to Florida after TSA aggressively screened their 7 year-old disabled daughter.

Dina Frank, who is developmentally disabled, wound up on the TSA’s radar at John F. Kennedy Airport

This is insane.
The Daily reported:

Traveling from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Florida, the Frank family was yanked out of line as it boarded the plane in a dispute over how 7-year-old Dina had been screened. The little girl, who has cerebral palsy, walks with crutches and leg braces.
“They make our lives completely difficult,” said her father, Dr. Joshua Frank, a Long Island pediatrician. “She’s not a threat to national security.”

Flying is always difficult for the family, but this week was particularly dreadful, Frank and his wife, Marcy, said.

With her crutches and orthotics, Dina cannot walk through metal detectors and instead is patted down by security agents. The girl, who is also developmentally disabled, is often frightened by the procedure, her father said.

Marcy Frank usually asks the agents to introduce themselves to her daughter, but those on duty on Monday were exceptionally aggressive, Joshua Frank said, and he began to videotape them with his iPhone.

“And the woman started screaming at me and cursing me and threatening me,” he said.

Eventually, a supervisor decided it was sufficient to inspect Dina’s crutches and allowed the family to leave for the gate.

They were there for an hour before the agents reappeared with a manager to tell them that proper protocol had not been followed, and that Dina had to be screened after all, the Franks said. After initially offering to pat her down at the gate, they insisted she return to the security area, Joshua Frank said…

This is unbelievable.
And, it’s happening right here in America.

Neither party cares. Neither party has any intention of doing anything about this.

When conservative Texas legislators tried to pass state legislation that would prohibit the TSA from violating our 4th Amendment rights, and make it illegal for the TSA to actually grope innocent citizens, Obama’s DoJ, run by Eric Holder, sent the Speaker of the House a letter stating, without reservation, that if Texas passed the legislation, all air traffic over Texas would be shut down. The elimination of all air traffic, including passenger and freight, would have bascially crippled Texas economically.

So yes, this is an Obama world. For rules and regulations, see the Communist Manifesto.

The TSA will never be accused of common sense, behavior like this would be rewarded in the former USSR.

  • NeoKong

Apparently it is a civil rights violation to ask somebody for an ID but these tactics from the TSA are fine and dandy.

Rather than confront islamic ideology, the politically correct federal government would subject Americans to this. This is tremendous cowardice by all of our political so-called leadership, resulting in a severe loss of freedom by the American people.

This is a perfect example of why no incumbents should be re-elected.

the elites, and GOP and donks in general don’t get screened and /or go to Teterboro in NJ to ride on a GIV private jet…So deff the peasants…

Remember no one appointed these dopes to permanent offices. they are temporary office holders.

Had my own not so pleasant experience at Columbus on Sunday. At some point there needs to be a massive public outcry over this sort of nonsense. We are not safer because of these invasive searches and nasty little napoleons.

I seem to recall having seen a story in just the last couple of days from the Obama regime declaring the War on Terror over and done. . . in which case, we can simply disband TSA, since they were put in place as a response to the War on Terror. Clearly, they are no longer necessary.

  • Bruce MacMahon

Granny, the Obama Administration declared the War on Terror was over.

Obama’s War on America continues unabated.

  • rrpjr

Yes, it truly is unbelievable. And they keep doubling down. It would be nice if we had a presidential candidate who could take this material and run with it, and who would pledge to zero out these bureaucratic abominations. Alas.

How long are the American people going to put up with this sort of thing.

Dylan wrote a song once saying that Dignity was the first to leave. I believe it already has!

TSA roadblocks have been set up on Interstate Highways is several states. I’m not sure how cooperative I’ll be if they try to stop and search my vehicle.

    Might be time to misbehave.

“The War on Terror is Over” so says Obama, was it a victory/defeat/tie for us? The DHS and TSA were created to help fight this war, now that its over, disband the TSA and DHS.
Grandmas in wheelchairs and little girls no longer need to be groped.

Was she wearing a veil? If she was, that would have been an automatic let-alone.

Donchya know we need these abusive, fascististic procedures? Why, without them, think of all of the terrorists we wouldn’t have caught.

    Oh, wait…

The pink shoe laces gave her away. Its all the rage with the jihadists these days, don’t you know.

  • Patty

They took her crutches to inspect them.

Thank God, they didn’t take her to inspect her, by that sexual abuse. I wonder how long families will be subjected to this kind of search. My guess is for a long time to come. Possibly, there maybe be changes for those with crutches or wheelchairs. A separate line of sorts.

The aggressor seems to be the TSA agent and if I were the father, I would at least file a complaint. Try to get some apology or get this person fired. I am not too sure about what sort of background check TSA does on employees, hopefully not like the government does with Secret Service or GSA.

Maybe they mistook her for a swarthy Middle-Eastern man in a taqiyah.

  • Paddy Bauler

I could easily see how some pissed off father in a situation like this were to obtain the personals for the nazi involved. And permanently settle it. These TSA goons need to really think about it.
