Wow!… They didn’t expect this…
When the Obama Administration attacked religious freedom in America with their new HHS mandate they certainly didn’t expect to see a Christian revolt… In San Francisco!

The City Square reported:

President Obama’s attempt to use Obamacare to crush religious freedom is provoking a backlash even in San Francisco where Christians organized a massive rally on Friday against Obamacare’s mandates.

Up until now, the TEA party, a secular group, has been the central force defending freedom against Obama’s governmental power grabs. If this rally is an indication, religious groups may form a second front in this war for freedom.

Since Christianity values charity, many Christians have supported Democrats and their government welfare state. Obama has demonstrated however the danger in this ill-conceived alliance. The massive power of a Federal welfare state is a threat to religion and religious values. It is not just the outrage of the government requiring Catholics to pay for abortifacients and the possibility that this may force the nationwide network of Catholic charity hospitals to close. Obama’s stated goal of giving old people aspirins instead of medical care is also a clear violation of Christian conscience.

  1. “Since Christianity values charity, many Christians have supported Democrats and their government welfare state.”

This line drives me insane. The welfare state has nothing to do with charity. Charity is the VOLUNTARY act of giving to others less fortunate. Forcing some to transfer a portion of their wealth to others, by threatening a loss of their liberty if they do not comply, has nothing to do with charity.

  2. The President’s healthcare plan is a way for all people to support better and less expensive health care for rich and poor. No one is forcing anyone to use contraceptives. Christian organizations should not force their values on people of other faiths who work for them in secular jobs. This is unchristian.
This healthcare plan was a creation of Republican think tanks, the Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute and represent our only chance a controlling the cost of something we all currently pay for; the healthcare of everyone; but do it on an extremely cruel and racist manner. Many suspect that the lies that appear on pages like this are a reflection of distaste for Obama himself. Could that be racist too?

  3. No, Ed, it is not racist. Raising the ‘racist’ eybrow is always a convenient out, isn’t it? Call back when your mom’s on the waiting list for that bypass surgery.

  4. I can’t wait to see the surprised look on 0bama’s face when he finds out he loses badly. his expression will be priceless and the mental breakdown he has that follows afterwards from the embarassment …you kind of wonder if that will cause him to throw a temper tantrum on stage and just go nucking futs.

His loss on election night will be a large boost to fixing the economy.

  5. I see another 2010 in the making. And who do we have to thank, Obama. The American Patriots will change America for the better, thank God for them.

My heart goes out to the Christians and they did see what happened when Obama became the “president” and I and them are going to fight this thing with every bone in our bodies.

We are sick of the nasty way Obama is leading our Nation. He has been trying to keep the right Silent. Wow, is he ever in for an Awakening. We are not tolerating another 4 more years of mandates, regulations, trillion in Debt and our national security at risk.

God Bless them all for standing strong!!!

  6. The rally in Sarasota, Florida on Friday had about 2,000 people of many religious faiths.
