Unreal… Obama Tells Israel Not to Strike Iran Until After Campaign Season

With Barack Obama, politics always trumps national security.

YNet News reported:

White House tells Sunday Times Obama pressed Netanyahu to postpone Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities until after November, adding president ‘might visit Israel in summer’

Israel will only strike Iranian nuclear facilities in September or after the United States presidential elections in November, a White House official told the British Sunday Times newspaper after a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama last week.

According to the report, Obama has taken Israel’s warnings about a possible strike in Iran very seriously. The Washington source added that the president “might visit in the summer to reassure the Israelis that the US commitment to defend Israel is unshakable and thus thwart a possible autumn attack.”

Obama insisted that any attack on Iran should be postponed until after the US presidential elections in November, possibly even until next spring. The source revealed that Netanyahu consented to delaying a strike, but wished to know until when. “The question is how much time,” he reportedly said.

The White House source added that Netanyahu presented a number of demands Iran must fulfill in order to avoid an Israeli attack, including transferring 150 kilograms (330 pounds) of enriched uranium to a third party, stopping the enrichment process at the Fordow site near Qom and ceasing any further enrichment beyond the 3.5% required for power generation.

Obama ‘apology tour’ should have been an indicator to Israel that Obama has no credibility when it come to Israel.

I listen to Netanyahu recent speech and I was amazed. I thought of Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and the great leaders who have been so honorable and stand by all their people.

No discrimination, No favoritism, no bias but real hope for everyone in their nation. Any Nation that wishes other dead, has credibility and would could say this with confidence that Prime Minister Netanyahu, no matte what are appeaser and campaign president says, he stands first with vigilance to his people.

You really can’t make this crap up, folks. And the sad part…they get away with it, over and over and over again. Why? It’s the main stream media, not doing their JOBS. Considering they are the only people that have JOBS, maybe we should start putting them on the unemployment line. High time, I say, why they keep getting away with hiding Obama’s corruption, I haven’t a clue.

Did Obama promise Arms Deal for Israel delay in Attacking Iran?

Update: As a few commenters remind us, having the Obama administration attempt to bargain around election dates isn’t exactly unprecedented. Reuters reports that an Israeli official calls the Maariv story “unrealistic”:

Israel has asked the United States for advanced “bunker-buster” bombs and refueling planes that could improve its ability to attack Iran’s underground nuclear sites, an Israeli official said on Thursday.

“Such a request was made” around the time of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington this week, the official said, confirming media reports.

But the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the issue, played down as “unrealistic” reports that the United States would condition supplying the hardware on Israel promising not to attack Iran this year.

That’s not an explicit denial. The White House denies any conversation about bunker busters took place, however:

President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not discuss in their meetings this week an Israeli request for advanced U.S. military technology that could be used against Iran, the White House said on Thursday.

“In meetings the president had there was no such agreement proposed or reached,” White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters. Obama and Netanyahu meet in the Oval office for two hours on Monday and then had lunch together.

We have two separate reports that the conversation did take place, and one denial. Stay tuned.

Obama is interested in his skin in the game. He will look weaker, if and attack is immanent before elections. He can afford it, he has destroy our military and nuclear systems by his reduction of them. His career as a Celebrity, appeaser, community organizer would be over.

He is fearful of this more that what happens in Israel.

He cannot afford an attack prior to his campaign. He will look to bad on the campaign trail. He may not be able to Campaign as this is his main job.

This is stupid. How can Obama promise that Iran would do anything at any time in months to come? It’s just stupid for Obama to make promises like that. And on top of that Obama can’t tell Israel to postpone and major defence effort until after the elections, until he sees if he is going to be in office or not, and if he is then he’ll do what? And if he’s not, then what happens? Israel’s security is not determined by who is president of this country, and never has. They must do what they must do no matter if America has a president or not.

Of course Israel gets alot of support from America when it has a president who wants to help Israel, but I can’t honestly say Israel has gotten that much help from Obama, hell, Obama will hardly talk to Israel no matter what they want. The only time Netenyaho comes to Washington is when the crap is about to hit the fan. Israel really doesn’t need our help, the only reason why he’s here is to find out one way or the other what Obama plans on doing, support Iran, or support Israel. Obama is so much more likely to support his Muslim buddies than any Israeli.

Why doesn’t Obama tell his buddies in Gaza, who he has such a long term relationship with, and gets his most Arab support from, to stop rocketing Israel so that somekind of peace talks can begin. But he knows that nothing like that will ever happen. Obama knows, and agrees with the PLO that Israel needs to be destroyed and shoved into the ocean like Israel almost did them back during the war in Beirut. It’s payback, that’s what they want, and that is revenge against Israel. And Obama is on the wrong side of history and Netenyaho knows it. That’s why he’s in Washington is not to get assurances from Obama, but to find out if Israel attacks Iran, is Obama going to be there in case Israel needs bullets or bombs.

I believe that if we do anything to help Israel, we should use air power to make sure Iran doesn’t try to move across land to attack Israel. And to make sure forces in Syria or Lebannon doesn’t act in Iran’s name. Of course everyone in that area is acting in the name of Islam, where does Iran fall in that zone? Who’s side are they on, theirs or Islam?

Barack Obama’s top ten insults against Israel

    1. Obama’s humiliation of Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House

    2. Engaging Iran when Tehran threatens a nuclear Holocaust against Israel

    3. Drawing a parallel between Jewish suffering in the Holocaust with the current plight of the Palestinians

    4. Obama’s attack on Israeli “occupation” in his speech to the United Nations

    5. Obama’s accusation that Israel is the cause of instability in the Middle East

The photo says it all, the expression that Obama has looking at Netanyahu, disdain, contempt, anger, seething but controlled rage … kind of the way Goebbels would have looked at a German Jew. The greatest existential threat to Israel, I believe, is not Iran, but Obama.

  • Patty

Obama hasn’t a leg to stand on when it comes to whether Israel may or may not attack before or after our elections. HIS WORDS DOESN’T HOLD WATER.

Faith in a Prime Minister before Obama, that is how I feel about this desperate situation. Protecting a nation’s people IS the first priority but for Obama he is dividing OUR nation.

Another delay tactic to give Iran enough time to go nuclear.

After the election (if he wins) he will once more tell them — as he has in the past — that if they attack he will order their jets shot down.

There’s an interesting story on this from the washington insider at the Ulsterman Report. Very scary. Basically it says Obama is self serving and evil.

But then again, I guess that’s not surprising, since most narcissists are.

/scary part? I suspect most liberal Jews will vote for Obama again.

We must never forget the words of Obama and his reactions on Israel. We must often tell our friends and family what is truly going on. We can’t depend on just the media, people. This is the election of our life. Stand with Americans and stop Obama second term.

Impending Disasters if Obama is re-elected!!!

    1. Obamacare will not be repealed.

    2. The unprecedented levels of spending in Obama’s first four years will become the new floor, as America sets new records for fiscal profligacy and debt.

    3. Job creators will face massive tax increases, and more Americans will come off the tax rolls—resulting in fewer citizens with a stake in keeping taxes low and more with a stake in protecting benefits.

    4. Government dependency, already at record levels, will continue to grow.

    5. Four lost years in dealing with the entitlement crisis will become eight—digging us into a hole from which we may not be able to emerge.

    6. Obama, unworried about the impact of gas and electricity prices on his reelection, will finally wage the regulatory war on fossil fuels the Left demands.

    7. He will unleash the Environmental Protection Agency to impose crushing new burdens on U.S. business.

    8. His administration’s assault on religious freedom will go on and expand to new areas.

    9. The Defense Department will be gutted, with cuts so deep that America will no longer be a superpower.

    10. Obama could have the opportunity to appoint more liberal Supreme Court justices, ending the Roberts court in all but name for a generation.

This is, of course, not a complete list—not by a long shot. I’d be interested what readers and my fellow AEI scholars think: What’s missing from this litany of impending disasters?

Like, what is the deal, Israel can’t make a “bunker buster” bomb? Israel doesn’t have a steel refinery capable of making a bomb casing? They don’t know how to melt down RDX and pour it into the casing? They don’t have the technology to either make a detonator or get one from us that would set the damn thing off after it’s burrowed into the ground? Or how about just borrow a couple from us. Wouldn’t that be easier to do? But then if Israel wouldn’t need us to help them take Iran out would they?

I just don’t understand why there is so much reluctance to do things like give Israel somekind of munitions and ordanance. Just give them whatever they need. Isn’t Iran our enemy to? Ohhhh, I forgot, Obama licks their boots.

  • Patty

This is the Worst. Again, in your state elections you MUST VOTE FOR THE MOST CONSERVATIVE JUDGES, PLEASE. Liberals in your state will pass more regulations and take our rights away as well.

The reports from Israel that it is seeking 5,000-pound GBU-28 bunker-busters for possible use against Iran makes for exciting reading. One problem: they can’t even dent Iran’s most protected sites. The reports suggest war is possible, without noting that these bombs would be like using a pea-shooter against your brother when he’s inside Dad’s car with the windows rolled up.

Assorted defense types say the only non-nuclear bomb in existence with any chance of doing real damage to the Iranian sites is the 15-ton GBU-57. Unfortunately for Israel – and perhaps fortunately for Iran – the only plane built to carry this behemoth is the B-2 bomber, which is only flown by the U.S. Air Force. Perhaps that’s why Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told Yochi Dreazen of National Journal on Thursday that an Israeli attack “would have an impact, but I think it’s also clear that if the United States did it we would have a hell of a bigger impact.”

Here’s some background on how the GBU-57 came to be:

Three years ago, the Air Force quietly circulated a solicitation seeking a “Quick Reaction Capability” to “defeat a specific set of Hard and/or Deeply Buried Targets.” The weapon, the service said, would “maximize effects against Hard and/or Deeply Buried Targets (HDBTs), while minimizing time over target.” The Air Force said it needed the weapon to meet “Urgent Operational Needs requirements” – generally a plea from a battlefield commander who doesn’t think he has the weapons he needs to accomplish a mission assigned to him.

“The system will hold at risk those highest priority assets essential to the enemy’s war-fighting ability, which are heavily defended and protected,” the Air Force said in February 2011 budget documents, “providing a critical global strike capability not currently met by inventory conventional weapons.”

Why would Israel want to listen to Obama, the Oracle of Chicago, corruption, payola, patronage and Socialism?

Why do the Jews support Obama, send him money and offer him praise when it appears Obama favors another holocaust?
