Dana Loesch was on with Piers Morgan tonight on CNN to talk about her friend Andrew Breitbart. Dana was handpicked by Andrew Breitbart to be editor of Big Journalism last year. Dana told Piers that she had just seen Andrew on Monday in Los Angeles where the Breitbart editors were holding meetings.
“It’s very difficult to not like him… I looked to him like he was a big brother.”

The American Islamic Forum for Democracy extends our heartfelt
deepest condolences to the family of Andrew Breitbart and all of
his close friends
Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, AIFD President & Founder, had this to say:
Andrew has not only been a long time friend but a fellow warrior in the
battle for liberty and the war of ideas. Words cannot express our shock
at the loss that our country has suffered today with Andrew’s death.
Andrew, we will miss you more than words can describe. You will be
in our prayers forever. We know that you fought for us and from now
forward we will fight for you!
While you were with us, we should have expressed to you more our
thankfulness and gratitude for the ground you broke for us on so many
levels. To new media, the blogosphere, and the war of ideas you are a
pioneer who will have a special place in history. Thank you for giving so
many of us the ability to find a home where our ideas could be heard. I
was truly blessed for the time I had to get to know you. Please know
that while we will no longer be able to commiserate on this earth, I will
continue commiserating with you in prayer from her e forward.
Know that today all of us warriors in the
battle for liberty are Andrew Breitbart!
Andrew, thank you for all that you’ve done, and may the rest of our
work live up to the courage you had in standing for the ideas in which
you believed and for which you stood. Thank you for believing in us
and for exemplifying the courage that many of us strive to emulate.
May God protect you and your family always. May your work live on in
the work of others. Andrew we love you. Our deepest condolences to
your wife and your four children.

Under Clinton, we used to call it “Arkancide”.
Now, I simply refer to it as “The Obama Dead Pool”

If one of his people die in the near future of the tapes going up, then I guess we will have to add them to this list.

Andrew Breibart is correct. “That movies, television programs, and popular music send out deeply political messages every hour of every day. They shape the culture, and then the culture shapes politics. Influence those films and TV shows and songs, and you’ll eventually influence politics.”
The conservatives have bigger battle to fight.

Andrew Breitbart on his Legacy
Everyone associated with Runaway Slave are shocked and deeply saddened
at the sudden loss of new media publisher, Andrew Breitbart, 43. Andrew
was a close friend and associate to many in our cast and crew. The United
States has lost a a strong un-compromising voice for our 1st Amendment
rights. We are blessed to have spent time with “AB” during production of
the film. – Runaway Slave Crew
From CL Bryant:
Friends, it does not matter what you may
have thought of Andrew’s social politics.
All of us will agree he was one of the great patriots in our midst. It was my
privilege to have know him. Let us honor his memory by making certian we
take back our countery in this 2012 election cycle. Andrew was one of the
lynch pins in our movie,
“Runaway Slave.” We have dedicated our Facebook page to his memory.

Andrew was the catalyst that drew me in to this orb of political discourse with the Acorn scandal…R.I.P. Andrew Breitbart may your mark on the world be for the better. You’ve done good.
Scott commented:
If you can possibly afford it, please buy Breitbart’s most recent book, “Righteous Indignation”. With 4 small children, I doubt he had close to enough life insurance to provide for them thru college. Whatever royalties his estate gets now will surely help.
In spite of his raucous nature, my own view is that Breitbart has done as much to get this nation on a righteous path than many evangelical preachers. For that I’m grateful. I’m certain that God is taking good care of his soul.
Much love and admiration. RIP.

Tea Lady Elaine commented:
I don’t know how Dana got through the show today, I hope she knows we feel so sad about the loss of her dear friend. There’s a poem better known as “I am not there, I did not die” that I always think about when someone so full of life, like Andrew passes. That poem really sums it up for Andrew Breitbart.
“Do not stand at my grave and weep”
Is a poem written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye. Although the origin of the poem was disputed until later in her life, Mary Frye’s authorship was confirmed in 1998 after research by the late Abigail Van Buren — former newspaper columnist (Dear Abby).
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush –
I am the swift uplifting rush –
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
To Dana Loesch, Jonah Goldberg, of course his family & many, many friends remember that he touched all of our lives and there were lots of tears today – we have all felt a great loss to America & The Tea Party. May he rest in peace and give us strength to go on through his example. May his memory be eternal.
God Bless You Andrew!

I was surprised at how hard Andrew Breitbart’s death hit me yesterday. As the day went on, I just kept picturing that scene from Braveheart, the one where Mel Gibson yells out “they can’t take away our freedom.” This is the year we have to fight like mad to stop the evil that has infiltrated our country, in both parties. We have allowed them to go on for too long. I just watched this video to get a little fired up (except for the Free Willie stuff and a few other things). This country is worth fighting for, and we all need to be Andrew Breitbart now.

EBL commented:
I am feeling low today, but I find watching this helps (a bit)
As for the plan by some Kossacks to get the Westboro Baptist Church to protest Breitbart’s funeral, I am pretty sure Andrew would say: Bring it on! If only that they revealed again how vile they really are. I think he would treat such a protest as a badge of honor.
I wish this was all an elaborate hoax and Andrew Breitbart will surprise us in October with a bunch of great stuff. Sadly that is not the case.
