Gee… Who could have seen this coming?
The Islamist parties in Egypt and Tunisia, two former US allies, want to impose more Islam than previously admitted.

Now the Islamists want more power.
Reuters reported:
After months of reassuring secularist critics, Islamist politicians in Tunisia and Egypt have begun to lay down markers about how Muslim their states should be – and first signs show they want more religion than previously admitted.
Islamist parties swept the first free elections in both countries in recent months after campaigns that stressed their readiness to work with the secularists they struggled with in the Arab Spring revolts against decades-long dictatorships.
With political deadlines looming, a key Tunisian party in the constituent assembly and the head of Egypt’s influential Muslim Brotherhood both made statements this week revealing a stronger emphasis on Islam in government.
Popular List, the party tasked with writing Tunisia’s new constitution, announced on Monday its draft called Islam “the principle source of legislation” – a phrase denoting laws based on the sharia moral and legal code.
On Tuesday, Egyptian Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badie said his group wanted a president with “an Islamic background.” That term is vague, but not as vague as the conciliatory “consensus candidate” talk heard from most parties until now.
Secularists in both countries warned voters against trusting the Islamists and these subtle changes could have come straight from a secularist playbook on how Islamists would gradually insert more religion into the political and legal systems.
Barack Obama must be very proud.

Moslem Spring enters it’s second year of implementation. No irony that the Party of Death, led by Dear Leader supports the Moslem rabble as well. They have so much in common.

This is potentially troubling, but not necessarily. If Egypt goes the way of Turkey, there is reason for hope. Years of dogmatic and oppressive secularism in Turkey created huge resentment on the part of religious people, not just extremists. The current government, although called Islamist, lowered the level of tension by relaxing certain restrictions on religious expression and, in fact, this government has returned property that had been confiscated from churches are synagogues back in early 20th century. That’s something the secularist governments never would have done. A Turkish friend summed it up by saying “Erdogan is essentially a Republican. He is mainly pro-business, but knows how to use religious rhetoric to win elections and he has opened the steam valve.” Turkey remains a largely secular country. On a recent visit, I found it more prosperous, more energetic and more friendly and just plain happier than on previous visits.
I am nto saying that Egypt is doing the same thing but, after Turkey, it is the most cosmopolitan states in the Middle East, and it has the opportunity to follow the Turkish example.

Obama sends a letter to Karzai over the koran burning – go figure. I wonder if he also told them to fund contraceptives and abortions to Afghan women. Hah.

Sorry, for the repeat; I hadn’t moved down through the threads yet.

Ambassador Crocker delivered a letter from the President to Afghan PM Karzi apologizing for the burning of a Koran at a U.S. military base in Afghanistan. No word on when Obama will apologize for the burning of hundreds of Bibles sent to Afghanistan by a U.S. Christian group that the military there was ordered to destroy.
If American Jews and Christians don’t wake up soon, and join forces against this most evil man, we are going to be subjected to more 9-11′s as the Muslims are encouraged by the pandering to them by Obama.

Federal court blocks Oklahoma ban on Sharia
[State Question 755, also known as the "Save Our State" measure, was
approved by a 7-3 ratio. It was sponsored by Oklahoma State Reps. Rex
Duncan and Anthony Sykes, both Republicans.
"The fact that Sharia law was even considered anywhere in the United
States is enough for me" to sign on, Sykes told CNN last year. "It should
scare anyone that any judge in America would consider using that as
precedent."
Sykes said his concern was compounded by U.S. Supreme Court Justice
Elena Kagan's comments during her confirmation hearings in June 2010
that she would be willing to consider international law when hearing
cases before the court.]

ergo, for all intent and purpose, this is 1984.. so please, i implore
everyone to do some research while they can.. because less and
less information is, and will be, available for several reason, one of
which is Obama’s formidable black hole machine.. heck, one could
easily state there’s more than one meaning to his “You ain’t seen

wake up, Islamic states were always Islamic states, the US however will
be simply due to the fact that no one is keeping their eye on the ball this
side of the pond so to speak.. well, no one but CAIN, Gingrich, West and
