Sarah Palin told the FOX and Friends crew this morning that Barack Obama “is not fit to hold office” because he never takes “responsibility for mistakes.”
Agreed… Not to mention his policies are a complete disaster.

    > Look who’s talking: Mrs. Quitter herself.

She left in large part to save the state money and herself from endless phony attacks not unlike those directed at TStevens, who may have been a politician, but was indicted by government criminals.

She left as most politicians should. Did a job and went home when it was time. A few more “quitters” like that instead of cockroaches like Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, and the rest – including the Kennedys and Clintons – and we’d be back on track to a proper republic.

    You idiot irredeemably imbecilic moron.

Efforts Underway In Alaska To Dismantle Sarah
Palin’s Successful Oil Tax Program, (ACES)

[An article in the New York Times today discusses both the call by some in Alaska to dismantle two of Governor Palin’s energy related
legislative victories and the claim by others that they are responsible for Governor Palin’s great fiscal record and Alaska’s strong fiscal health.

Current Alaska Governor Sean Parnell is seeking to make changes to Governor Palin’s oil tax structure–”Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share” (ACES) legislation. This legislation replaced Governor Murkowski’s corruption-tainted oil tax plan. Governor Palin’s plan primarily taxed oil company’s net profits on production, and its flexibility based upon oil prices and its tax credits encouraged greater capital development and investment than Murkowski’s tax structure. Moreover, Governor Palin signed ACES into law in order to make the oil tax structure more in line with the state constitution which stated that natural resources (i.e. oil) belong to the people and need to be developed for the maximum benefit of Alaskans.]

  5. Is anyone out there talking about the economy or jobs? No! Discussions are centered around something that has been going on and in the books for years. Bait and switch and Palin, of course, buys into it. Has Obama ever recognized or addressed any Palin commentary? He uses her ability to pump up the volume about him, thus deterring discussion about anything important.

  6. I firmly agree with this point by Sarah Palin.
I have trouble with the candidates on our side who haven’t taken responsibility for their mistakes. They’ve all made mistakes and all done things that were less than conservative at some point. Just own up to it and move forward. Denying it just turns it into media fodder and it never goes away. Herman Cain is a good example. He probably could have stuck it out this fall if he’d just come clean on everything all at one time and push through it. (Sorry BG, it’s the best example I could think of).

Where I disagree with Sarah Palin is that for Obama, these weren’t mistakes. They were very much on purpose. And he won’t take responsibility for them until we are too far gone to repair the damage.

  7. “My dog ate my homework”
FU barry. I wouldn’t take that excuse from my 10 year old.

  8. Has Obama ever taken responsibility for anything? I mean, other than giving some silly lip service to a mistake in buying one of his kids the wrong ice cream flavor. The man is, as Gee! said, a hopeless narcissist, incapable of admitting fault.

Whenever I heard The One making excuses, I think of this:

Of course, Joliet Jake was funny. Obama is about as funny as a heart attack.

ah, there go the echoes of the know it nothing alls..

    Five myths about Sarah Palin

[2. Resigning as governor was rash.

No one expected Palin's resignation on July 3, 2009, just 2 1/2 years into her term. Her hastily composed and clumsily delivered farewell address left many observers confused about her motives. Some of her critics were only too eager to fill in the gaps with conjecture and hearsay (She's being investigated by the FBI! Sarah and Todd must be headed for divorce!). If there was one thing everybody knew for sure, it was that Palin's career in politics was over.

But none of the rumored scandals ever broke. The Palins remain married. And as for Sarah Palin's career, it's taken off. She plays a far greater role in American public life than she did before she left office.

When Palin returned to Alaska after the 2008 campaign, she confronted three problems. The political coalition on which she had based her governorship -- a combination of Democrats and renegade "Palinista" Republicans -- had collapsed. Her critics were using Alaska's tough ethics laws to launch investigations into her behavior, sapping her finances and her energy. Finally, every time she traveled to the Lower 48, Alaskans criticized her for putting her political interests above the state's.

Palin's solution was to resign. Her agenda stood a better chance of passing if then-Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, who shared Palin's goals, succeeded her as governor. As a private citizen, meanwhile, Palin could make enough money to pay her legal bills. And she would no longer be accused of neglecting her official duties.

Some might say that Palin's resignation was shortsighted and showed that she was not ready for the demands of executive office. But if Palin had remained governor, she would have been denied opportunities to rally the tea party and fight in the battle over the Obama agenda. She would have been stuck on a regional stage. Instead, she's back on the national one. ]

    “BRIDGE TO NOWHERE”

[“Media reports that Congress killed the Bridge to Nowhere are not accurate,” said Schatz. “The 2006 transportation appropriations bill allowed Alaska to decide whether or not to move forward. Governor Murkowski said yes; Governor Palin said no. Any discussion about the project should begin with facts.”]

  10. See, here’s the deal. Obama is the community organizer. His job is to inspire people to want to do the work to get the job done. It’s not even Obama’s job to do the job, it’s the job of the people he appointed to do the job. They report to him and then he inspires them to keep up doing a good job, and then his job is done. That’s why he can take as many vacations and time off to golf all the time because he doesn’t have to do any of the work. He’s there to inspire other people to do the work. That’s why he can keep his hands clean all the time because it’s someone else’s job to do the dirty work so Obama’s hands are always clean.
And since he doesn’t have to do any of the work, any problems that occur from someone doing something that causes problems in our society, he can act like he didn’t have anything to do with it so he’s not to blame, see? He can stay above the fray all the time.
And staying above the fray has been Obama’s reputation since he’s been in politics. Others have remarked that it seems Obama always stays above the fray. Sure he would as long as someone else is doing the dirty work. He looks good, and it’s other people who have blood all over their hands, not Obama’s. He doesn’t have any blood on his hands, oh no.
And the other thing is all orders come from Obama. He is the only one who can give orders on crucial things, now, not the ordinary every day stuff, but only the stuff that makes big changes in or society like this contraception ruling, that was him. But the implementation is up to his underlings. The Occupier’s are his underlings by way of the Communist Party, they are the ones running Obama’s appointments in his administration, they answer to the Communist Party. Obama himself takes orders from the Communist Party on some issues that are left to the Communist Party to affect. Remember, Obama never does any of the work, so all those kinds of details are left to members of the Communist regime.

Obama is occupying the office of the President, which he does not deserve because he is not a citizen of this nation, which is exactly what the Communist need because it establishes rules and laws that are passed outside the Constitution rendering the Constitution not part of the laws that are currently running this nation. When people say that Obama is over riding the Constitution, they are right, and that is the job of the community organizer and that is to over ride current law as it applies to Blacks, illegal Mexican’s, and Muslims and anyone else who is here to not adhere to our Constitutional law, our rules as established by the Constitution, and the structure of the nation according to our founding documents. All those are being removed from the law making process. If our current laws are not backed by the Constitution, then what are they backed up by? They are backed up by fiat, orders from either Obama and his Executive Orders, or decree by the Socialist Democrat Party.

The Socialist Democrat Party hasn’t passed a law in decades because every “law” they’ve passed has been unConstitutional. What they have passed are Socialist Democratic decrees which say what people must now do, or businesses must now do. Not law, Decree. Look up what the word means and you will see.

  16. All laws, ALL LAWS, made by the U.S. Congress, and the states must agree with the U.S. Constitution. Especially in our government. All laws made in our government must agree with our Constitution. If they don’t, then they are unConstitutional and cannot be made law. And that specifically, is the law. Everything must agree with the Constitution, even state laws. They can be more than a Federal law, but not less than a Federal law. And what that means is, if the government passes a law and a state wants to make it, say, the penalty part if not obeyed, stiffer if someone disobeys it, can pass their own version with the stiffer penalty in it. But the states cannot over ride a Federal law with their own version, or remove a Federal law with their own law. The states must make law that agrees with the Constitution, but of course pertaining to the needs of their own state.

Every single “law” that the Democrats have made since the 60′s has been unConstitutional because they provide more rights on a certain race that do not pertain to any other race. They provide benefits to a certain race that no other race can access. They make changes in our educational system that is detremental to how a child or young person is actually educated and what quality of education they get. They rule against certain products which the government says are harmful to people, or the environment that are not harmful to people, or the environment. They tell people what they can buy and what they cannot buy, which negatively affect how business is done in this country, and/or cause those businesses to go out of business. And it goes on and on with thousands of these decrees which carry the same force as law, but are not law, because all law must agree with the Constitution, and all of those do not. The states have the right to reject any decree which has a negative affect on it’s economy or the lives of the people are reduced from where they should be if left alone and the economy and the lives of the people were allowed to progress at their own natural pace.

Don’t think about it. It just gets your blood pressure up.
A good friend of mine made that idiotic statement about her being a quitter the other day in an otherwise casual conversation. Next thing we knew, it was one in the morning and we were still arguing.
It’s insane how the media narrative wins the day so often in this center-right country.
