Nancy Pelosi vows to stand with Barack Obama against the Catholic Church and religious freedom.

CNS reported:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) vowed today that she will join with the Obama administration in standing up against the Catholic Church in defending a new regulation that will require Catholic individuals to buy, and Catholic institutions to provide, health insurance plans that cover sterilizations and artificial contraceptives, including those that induce abortions.

The Catholic church teaches that sterilization, artificial contraception and abortion are morally wrong and the Catholic bishops of the United States have argued that forcing a Catholic individual to purchase a health insurance plan that covers these things–or forcing a Catholic institution to provide such a plan–forces Catholics to act against their consciences and is a violation of the First Amendment right to free exercise of religion.

    To be fair, in 2008 election 50% of weekly Catholic goers voted for Obama (the % is higher for those who are occasional goers) so truthfully said, if the Catholic Church did not want to do be enslaved to Obamacare then they could haveinstead offered sermons about the fact that Universal Health Care is humanity’s path to hell.

    At this point Nancy has demanded the Church willingly partake in a mortal sin, and she is willing to bringing the full weight of the Federal Government to bear to make it happen. Right this moment her Archbishop had better be in some serious talks with the Vatican over excommunication procedures. To commit a mortal sin is very bad, to try and force another to commit a mortal sin is in another league altogether.

    Pelosi’s run-in with the (HER) Catholic church began in 2008 when she had an uncontrollable urge to “interpret” (and disavow) Catholic doctrine and scripture.

    Regarding Pelosi herself, I think it’s safe to say at this point in her corrupt and diseased political path, that she is truly the handmaiden of Satan.

    However, what is disconcerting is the God-forsaken fact that the prevailing law in this Country allows for the murder of the population of Cincinnati, Ohio every year via its abortion clinics.

Yet Muslims do not have to purchase health care, they are exempt.. They do not believe in private or public health care according to the Koran..In the bill the loophole was put in.. Since most Muslims do pay into SS, but contribute to health sharing ministries they are exempt..A religious non profit organization (Takaful).     Agreed. But the thing is, we ARE the Catholic Church. So what can we do? We are normal people who don’t have the time or money to challange the Obama Adminastration. Challange the President of the United States! This would destroy us, to ‘disrespect the President of Hope and Change’! This is the same President that had the media weeping when the Arizona Governer pointed at him that no one in the history of our nation has insulted a president like that (the same media that laughed as Bush had TWO SHOES TROWN AT HIS HEAD by fogieners and laughed at forgien jokes of “He should have been thrown in jail…for missing!”). We (at least myself)do not fear to be throw in jail, we do not fear to face death, but we all (at least I do) tremble like lapdogs at the thought of a bad image for our faith. We’ve been hated in the past, we can handle that, but to be dismissed as nothings….well, it scares me. If we are legal nothings then we can be eradicated, just like we where legally hunted down in ancient Rome, just like the Jews and Gypsys and several other government deems “nothings” in Germany were legally hunted. I don’t fear death, but I fear eradication. I know, we were told the gates of Hell could never prevail against the Church, but the devil is still plying on my nerves on this point.

    Please, pray that people will stand against this…. and that when that happens I and others like me aren’t so image concious that we would refuse to stand with them. Apostles and martyrs pray for us.
