Obama’s Chief of Staff Exposes Obama’s True Intentions for Radical Gun Control in the U.S.

While 49 other states have ratified Concealed Carry laws, Illinois is diligently working to track and punish their own citizens for exercising their Constitutional rights. If Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has his way, gun owners will not only be tracked in the same manner as sex offenders, but will be slapped with a repeating $65 fee…for each gun.
According to the Chicago Sun Times,
Emanuel’s proposal would require all handgun owners to obtain a certificate of registration from the State Police for every handgun they own — at a cost of $65-per-weapon — and to renew that registration every five years.
They would be required to provide: their name, address and telephone number; the manufacturer of the gun, its model type and serial number; and the date and source of the purchase.
Whenever a handgun is sold, the seller would be required to report the sale to the State Police “no less than 48 hours prior to delivery.” Handgun buyers would have 20 days to file for a new certificate of registration. Anyone caught carrying or possessing an unregistered handgun would face a Class 2 felony.
If gun owners cannot afford to pay the $65 fee for each gun they must turn their guns in to local law enforcement for destruction. Punishment for not complying is a Class 2 Felony. How unfortunate for the rest of the good people of Illinois to have the scourge of Chicago in their state. And this fresh on the heels of signing a check for $399,950 to the Second Amendment Foundation after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Chicago’s ban on handguns…because it was unconstitutional.
If you think this is a bummer for the residents of Illinois, just wait. Emanuel, the heart and soul of the first two years of the Obama administration, is tipping Obama’s hand for his second term.
At the CPAC on Friday, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre had this warning…

While delivering one of the liveliest and best-received speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre said the president’s low-key approach to gun rights during his first term was “a “conspiracy to ensure re-election by lulling gun owners to sleep.”
“We see the president’s strategy crystal clear: Get re-elected and, with no more elections to worry about, get busy dismantling and destroying our firearms’ freedom, erase the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights and excise it from the U.S. Constitution.”
This isn’t about crime. This is about government control.
During the years in which the D.C. handgun ban and trigger lock law was in effect, the Washington, D.C. murder rate averaged 73% higher than it was at the outset of the law, while the U.S. murder rate averaged 11% lower.
Obama is a nightmare for the Second Amendment. He wants to make sure the government and criminals have guns…and the citizens don’t. You can’t have Marxism until you disarm the populace. It looks like the state of Illinois will be the first state to institute Marxism in the Union. Thanks for nothing, Rahm/Chicago. Just wait until Obama’s second term and he gets to appoint two more Supreme Court Justices…Chicago will be the United States.

What a week. First Barry took a stab at destroying the First Amendment and now he is working on the Second Amendment. Look at what gun control has done to crime rates in England and Australia. Those are countries that don’t have the same Second Amendments that we have been granted by the Signers so many years ago.

Rahm Emanuel is his own man, with an identity distinct from his father’s. He is not responsible for the actions or opinions of Benjamin Emanuel, a Chicago pediatrician who worked in the 1940s with Irgun, the militant Zionist group that committed acts against Palestinian and British targets that have been widely categorized as terrorism. This is from the Jerusalem Post’s account of an interview Benjamin gave after news of his son’s appointment to the Obama administration was announced:
In an interview with Ma’ariv, Emanuel’s father, Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, said he was convinced that his son’s appointment would be good for Israel. “Obviously he will influence the president to be pro-Israel,” he was quoted as saying. “Why wouldn’t he be? What is he, an Arab? He’s not going to clean the floors of the White House.”
In a letter sent Tuesday to Rahm Emanuel, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee asked the congressman to “disavow and repudiate these remarks publicly.” Over the weekend, I asked Rep. Emanuel’s congressional office if they had any response to Benjamin Emanuel’s comments. An aide sent me this statement:
When it comes to Israel’s security and America’s partnership with Israel, President-elect Obama doesn’t need Rahm Emanuel. President-elect Obama’s commitment to Israel is steadfast and unwavering.
It is unlikely to be the last word on this subject.
UPDATE: Statement from Rep. Rahm Emanuel’s office (released Thursday afternoon): “Today, Rep. Emanuel called Mary Rose Oakar, President of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, apologized on behalf of his family and offered to meet with representatives of the Arab-American community at an appropriate time in the future.”

I’ve been hearing it and hearing it that if Obama wins a second term we’re screwed, we’re done for, we’re finished, and we’ll be turned into a Communist nation or something to that affect. No, I have a different scenario. I believe there are people in this country who won’t let him win a second term, and if somehow he was able to, he wouldn’t live to see the first week. I believe there have been people who for racist reason’s have wanted to take him out since he ran. But even more so since he took office. Now, with all he has done to this nation I believe there are many, many people who have committed themselves to making sure he won’t serve a second term. And I believe they don’t particularly need some complex plan either. And yeah, since Obama is like he is I’m sure he has taken extra precausions to get the protection he needs because he himself has said the he believes there are many people who want to see him dead. And I’m sure he is right and that is why I believe for any number of reasons Obama will be killed before he serves a second term because of what he’s done to this country.
And do you know who is more likely to do it than White right wingers, like alot of people would think would be the one’s to do something like that? Hard core left wingers who don’t believe he’s left enough, or has been to easy on the Jews, or has let right wingers get away with to much. And even Rahm Emanuel might want to get rid of him so Rahm could run for President himself. He has all the right reason’s to snuff Obama out because Rahm Emanuel knows Joe Biden would probably resign if the job of running the country landed in his lap. Then that would mean John Boehner would be next in line for the Presidency. That would help Republican’s, but I don’t give Boehner any credit for being able to run the country any better than the capital building janitor.
So, no I don’t believe Obama would have an army surrounding him 24/7/365 because he likes riding on Air Force One to much around the world. And that’s where it would happen. I’m sure everywhere Obama has gone has been crawling with terrorists since Obama has gone to every kind of place that the Secret Service was not able to clear in time for Obama to be protected safely. And since his ding bat wife brings 60 of her friends with her for a hopp-la in Spain last year, that would leave big opportunities for a gunman to slip in and take him out. So they’re both dumb. Renting out the whole hotel does not guarantee his safety because maintanence people would still have to do their work, and cleaners would have to do theirs to, and I’ve seen enough James Bond movies to know that you can hide a person in a laundry hamper.

This is one reason why Obama is using the Occupier’s to cover up what he’s doing behind the scenes in order to set the groundwork for marshall law. If just one time law abiding citizen’s have just reached their end with these punks, and conduct an all out attack on a bunch of these dummies, that’s all it will take for Obama to put the country into marshall law. And that might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. And any attempt to take our gun rights away could be all people who are already at the breaking point with Obama, would go ballistic and do whatever they could to kill Obama.
It goes without saying that Obama has p.o.’ed a lot of people off in this country. He has caused thousands of people to loose their jobs and that in turn caused them to loose their homes. Like, who is the Secret Service going to watch as likely suspects who would want Obama dead? There’s only millions of people who would love nothing better than to get up in the morning and turn on the TV and there all over the TV headlines blaring the news, “Obama is dead!”. There would probably be a lot of cheering going on, but right after that they would stop their cheering, realizing that Biden was about to take control of the government. Oh My God! Joe Biden is President??? The dumbest red neck in the Senate??? “Ol Joe is a mean bastard, I’ll tell you that. He’d be a very mean and bitter President, but would be making mistakes all over the place. The Obama administration would probably make him step down, and the Democrat Party would appoint someone. And guess who that would be?

Actually, this measure has nearly ZERO chance of ever becoming law — and Rahm, unless he’s a complete idiot, knows this — because NO downstate Illinois legislator, Republican OR Democrat, will stand for it. Even Gov. Pat Quinn, who is as liberal as they come, doesn’t think this a good idea.
The most likely reasons Rahm floated this idea at all were 1) to curry favor with city and suburban anti-gun liberals and 2) to use as a throwaway bargaining chip which he can later withdraw in return for getting something else he wants from the General Assembly.
Also, slightly off topic but I think it’s an important point — whatever else Obama may be (socialist, radical, dictatorial, etc.), he is NOT a “Chicago Machine” politician! A true Machine politician is born and raised in Chicago and is very involved in CITY politics from birth. A true Machine politician sees statewide or even national office as a mere steppingstone to the ultimate prize of getting elected alderman or becoming mayor. Rahm is a Machine politician, and so is William Daley, and to some extent, so was Governor Hairdo. Obama is NOT!

I have seen the murder rate curve overlaid with single family percentages and that tended to push the curve from 30 in the 80′s to 70 in the 90′s. Social justice did a great job destroying the American culture .
Another data set, abortions, overlaid on the murder rate curve skyrocketed about 18 years before the murder rate decline. The part of society that tended to violent crime was also the part that most used the new abortion availability. Social justice did a great job of removing violent criminals before they were born.

1. There are a lot more gun owners than “Gun Police” residing within Illinois borders.
2. The vast majority of gun owners don’t trust local, state, and federal authorities any farther than they can throw them.
Given the above, do the math and then tell the rest of the class how you propose to force Illinois firearms owners to register their guns against their will–especially if they’ve all taken a strong personal disliking to you.
