Obama: I Deserve a Second Term Even If the Economy Slumps

And he’s not through destroying the economy yet.
The New York Daily Mail reported:
PRESIDENT OBAMA said Sunday that he had earned another four years in the White House — even if the U.S. economy is still on the mend.
“I deserve a second term, but we’re not done,” the President told NBC’s Matt Lauer in a pre-Super Bowl interview.
Three years ago, and only 10 days into his presidency, Obama talked to Lauer about the state of the economy and said, “If I don’t have this done in three years, then it’s going to be a one-term proposition.”
When the “Today” show host reminded him of that statement and asked whether he should be reelected, Obama didn’t hesitate on Sunday.
“Look, when you and I sat down, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month,” the President said. “Now we’re creating 250,000. We created 3.7 million jobs over the last 23 months. We created the most jobs since 2005 . . . but we’re not finished.”

There is some economic recovery going on. I suspect it is because of the substantial drop in natural gas prices – which is occurring DESPITE the Administration, not because of it. It also won’t last – but the low prices should get past the next election.

Where might we find those 3.7 million jobs he has allegedly created? I’m pretty sure the unemployment rate is higher than when he entered office and that doesn’t even recognize all the people that have just given up.

How can anyone believe that in the last 3 years MILLIONS of jobs were created – and yet the job pool has SHRUNK by several MILLION?! The only reason those numbers indicate anything positive is because of the shrinking job pool combined with people who are dropping off the rolls – BECAUSE THEY CAN’T GET A JOB! And massaging the numbers to fix them in the Admin/regime’s favor.
Propaganda the regime produces, that the MSM will push – but FACTS must be pushed out for all to be informed of REAL, factual data. The information battle must be stoked with REAL DATA, FACTUAL NUMBERS; the MSM (aka O Admin agitprop arm) can’t control the narrative on this…..reality is everywhere, thank goodness, to prove Teh Won a lying liar.

Let’s not forget that if Obama is re-elected, undoubtedly he will have the opportunity to appoint liberal Supreme Court Justices who think like Ginsburg that the Constitution is an inferior document. Goodbye 2nd amendment – individuals will not be constitutionally able to keep and bear arms – only a “militia”.
Obama will have unfettered leave to wreak havoc on this country and it’s values. The only thing that might prevent that is electing people who support conservative Tea Party values to both the Senate and Congress. If not, maranatha!

You know, I’ve heard people say that, but I’ve not seen a scrap of actual evidence of one. Gasoline prices have gone up a full 30+ cents a gallon (about 10%) since the Obama adminsitration denied approval for the pipeline. Groceries have also gone up a fair bit. Virtually everything that I bought this week was $0.05-0.10 more per item this week than two weeks ago.

No one deserves to be President, first time or for a second term. The criteria are, do you have the best ideas to move the country forward and are you the best person to implement those ideas.

We may not like it but the unemployment rate has indeed improved. It cant be just ignored as potential workers giving up. There is no data to support that claim.
Look, my wife finally found a job-a good one. She is making good money, so we can get back on our feet. Do I credit Obama? No, but we are surely doing better now that we were a few years ago.
The unemployment checks are the only thing that saved us. We would have lost the house and probably divorced. Im hopping mad the the gop for trying to cut off unemployment checks-WHEN PEOPLE NEEDED THEN THE MOST.
Why do we obsess over suffering? Why? Why make people beg and starve? Why not give them a little help to get them back on their feet. Thats how we made it. But I dont want the assistance we got going to just anyone. We deserved the help. Others dont.

Obama and company have launched a war on achievement, portraying the highly successful as selfish villains and everyone else as lowly peasant-saints who are suffering because the rich are hogging it all. Clearly, Obama is exploiting man’s susceptibility to the sin of covetousness. And to all you Christians who buy into Obama’s “fairness” garbage, shame on you. Jesus was not a socialist.

The Obama and company vision for America is incompatible with what has made us great. Do we really want to become a nation where government dictates and caps wealth, which they redistribute equally? Heck no!
Freedom to be all one can be is the magic ingredient which has made us the most extraordinarily successful nation on the planet. America is a guy laboring in his basement to build a better mousetrap in an effort to improve the fortunes of his family and himself. Great wealth is his reward for providing rodent relief to millions. If the Obama administration confiscates huge chunks of the successful mousetrap-maker’s profits, what incentive is there for him to invest more time, funds, blood, sweat, and tears to improve his product?
It is extremely depressing and sad to think of our great country becoming as Obama sees us — a nation of entitlement-minded losers, all dependent and helpless without government. As I stated, that is not who we are as a people. We are Americans!
Incredibly, we have a leftist president who simply does not get it. We must vote Obama out in November 2012.
