Obama Holds Lunch with Congressional Leaders But Excludes (Jewish) Majority Leader Eric Cantor

Barack Obama asked Congressional leaders to the White House today for lunch. He did not send an invitation to Majority leader Eric Cantor, who is Jewish.

Obama doesn’t much like Eric Cantor. He chided Cantor in 2010 for bringing a copy of Obama’s health care plan to Obama’s health care talks.

The Politico reported:

President Barack Obama lunched privately with congressional leaders Wednesday to talk about jobs and the economy — the first such meeting since last summer’s debt-ceiling negotiations dissolved.

The group was limited to only the top congressional leaders: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

That left out House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The president and Cantor had a famously tense encounter during the debt ceiling talks — White House staff said Cantor repeatedly interrupted Obama toward the end of a meeting, Cantor’s staff said Obama walked out. But they have in recent days begun working together on a legislative jobs package designed to help small businesses get access to capital.

Small, petty, incurious, arrogant, ignorant weakling. And this group called Bush, who would meet with anyone, anytime, all of the above?!

    No apologies

    by Newt Gingrich

[Tens of thousands of American men and women are in Afghanistan fighting to maintain security and prop up President Karzai’s government. Thousands of American and coalition troops have died. Four have been killed as a result of the protests. And President Obama is promising to “hold accountable those responsible” for the accidental burning of a few books prisoners were themselves desecrating to pass messages.

The president’s letter is outrageous, and he first owes an apology to the men and women in uniform for his failure as Commander-in-Chief to defend their honor. What’s worse, he may have made their jobs even more dangerous. By apologizing he in flamed sense that Afghans had been wronged and gave anti-American forces there the message that their violent, senseless protests were achieving something. It might come as a surprise to the president, but not all of his apologies win people over. Most of the time, they just make America look weak.

There’s no doubt that President Obama has a lot to apologize for. But
before he continues diminishing the United States on the world stage,
he should start by apologizing to the American people.]

I do hope that at least ONE of the invited Congressional “leaders” had the gumption to leave when he found out that Eric Cantor wasn’t invited. Of course I’m hoping pigs fly and you know where freezes over soon so all the little devils can go ice skating too.

John Boehner is absolutely revolting. He went even though Eric Cantor was left out. He is a disgusting traitor. FU you disgusting traitor Boehner. He’s working for them.

Mitch McConnell is also a Quisling and traitor. I wish evil on Boehner and McConnell. They’re repeated attempts to appease this Muslim Brotherhood plant in the White House is treasonous.

I despise O quite a great deal, but I am not aware that the House Majority Leader and the SPeaker would both always be invited. THat’s kind of a fifth wheel position among leadership…

There are indications that the debt ceiling might be reach before Election Day.

Boehner should have made some excuse as to why he couldn’t attend. This meeting was all bs anyway as Zero is not truly interested in helping any business. No way is this putz going to work with the GOP on anything meaningful. By that I mean, shrinking fed involvement in all aspects of our lives.

How do they plan to help small businesses gain access to capital? Demand banks and other investors to give them money, or else?

One way to get this economy on the right track is for the feds to stop their continual obstructionism through absurd regulations. Another is to get this monster out of the WH by voting for the GOP candidate in November.

    Obama is a punk.

Obama walked out. No surprise there. Look at all the states where Democrats turn their backs and run away–literally run away, even leaving their state–instead of sitting down, strapping in, and doing what they’ve been elected to do.

I like this development. When Cantor has something to say on a subject, I will be listening closely.

    A LOT more closely.

Perfectly consistent for our malignant Narcissist-in-Chief.

The smaller the man, the larger the chip on his shoulder (not be confused with the neutron-star-dense blob resting on top of his neck).

    Petty, vindictive tyrant.
