Hollywood Twit Compares “Act of Valor” to Hitler Nazi Film

Hollywood twit Dax Shepard compared US Navy Seals to Nazis this weekend.
What an offensive idiot.

Star of TV’s Parenthood, Dax Shepard, compared the pro-U.S. military film that stars actual Navy SEALs, Act of Valor to Adolf Hitler’sTriumph of the Will. On his Twitter feed the one time Ashton Kutcher prank boy fromPunk’dwrote: “Saw ‘Triumph of the Will’ tonight, oh wait, I mean ‘Act of Valor’ great action.” Apparently the reaction to Shepard’s obnoxious tweet, comparing this week’s #1 movie starring active duty Navy Seals to a Nazi propaganda movie was immediate, as he attempted to walk back his comments.
Of course, Hollywood leftists only rant about movies when they’re pro-American. They have nothing against the several failed anti-American leftist films trashing the military.

Obama’s film is supposed to be about how the last three years have been the most amazing, filled with accomplishment, hope and change of any years by any President in the past one hundred years. It is the birth of a nation, the triumph of progressive ideology and will.
Nope… certainly not propaganda. Blame an actual documentary about the military. Better yet, let’s just strip them of their healthcare while leaving fat-assed pencil pushing government employees with the same benefits. It’s not as if the military ever subjects their bodies and minds to toll that would necessitate a good healthcare package as part of their otherwise miserable compensation.

Does this surprise anyone? I knew that Hollywood Douche bags would have a problem with this movie. 1-It involves real life super heros and 2-It doesn’t involve the typical hollywood fakes.
If old Dax wants to be really edgy. I suggest he take his complaint to one of the seals in the movie. LOL now that would be worth the price of admission.

Wanumba, you’ve hit on something there. When I see the promos for all the various new touchy-feely or vampire/werewolf/zombie TV shows, the lead actors (none of whom I have actually watched in their roles) look like sissies of varying degrees.

So what happens in Obama’s America when people can’t afford to go to a movie, and all these mindless twits are unemployed? Oh, yeah, give them a bail out. Actually the guy had a point, just not the one he wanted to make. The Nazis did make propaganda films in which they portrayed their guys as noble. The nobility was a lie. With the SEALS, it’s the truth.

Our local movie reviewer did the same thing — let his colors show, compared it to a Nazi propaganda film, and gave it 1.5 stars. The mathematical average rating so far at IMDB is 8.1, and IMDB isn’t exactly overrun with pro-American sentiment. However, due to their curious questionable weighting system, it shows up with a weighted rating of 6.1.
I’m not a big fan of action films, but I plan to see it and judge for myself.

This Dax guy other than being a moron is also one lying bastard. In the 1st place “Triumph of the Will” was shot by Leni Reifensthall at the 1936 Nuremberg rally and later edited. To educate the dumass Dax, Hitler started WW2 on Sept 1, 1939 by invading Poland. So obviously there were NO scenes of Triumphant Nazi’s as they killed people. The Austrian Anschluss hadn’t even yet occured. If he had seen Triumph of the Will, which he obviously has NOT, he would comment on the scene by scene copy of that excreble film for Obama’s Denver acceptence speech. I mean EXACT copy! The networks were kind enough to duplicate the cadence of the film in the way they cut to certain scenes that were exactly stolen fom Triumph. The fake Greek columns in an outdoor sports arena at night, the candles representing the Nazi torches, the way Obama started his remarks slowly and politely, the gradual buildup to the excoriation of his enemies, the same cuts to adoring young people and the same cuts to “older, wiser” old people as they nodded their head in silent agreement to the Fuhrer as if to say,”finally a wise leader”. The sweeping lights and camera angles and cuts over the whole spectacle. THAT my friends was a copy of “Triumph of the Will”.

That’s a fascinating comparison. I saw Triumph of the Will so long ago that I don’t really remember much. But if the similarities in the two events are really as great as you say, then this could be a golden opportunity for someone with the time, creativity, and necessary video editing skills to produce a killer short film before the election.
Of all the historical ascents to tryanny that I know anything about, the rise of the Nazis seems by far to have the most in common with what we’re seeing today in America. The fact that the Nazis were the quintessential socialists (contrary to popular leftist mythology), with all the same tactics and greater-good justifications, needs to be driven home with the American people before it’s too late.
