Hamas goons welcomed UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon to Gaza today. They chucked shoes and rocks at his convoy.

Arutz-Sheva reported, via Israel Survival Updates:
An angry crowd hurled shoes and stones at United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s convoy as it entered Hamas-run Gaza on Thursday.
The crowd also struck the vehicles with signs bearing slogans accusing Ban of bias towards Israel, among others. No one was injured in the incident and the convoy simply pushed through the crowd and sped away. Ban is visiting the region to try to jumpstart the long-stalled peace process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
His visit comes on the heels of a similar failed visit by European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton who said she feared the “window for talks” was “closing.” Both demanded Israel make “goodwill gestures” to the PA and Hamas while making no similar demands on officials in Ramallah and Gaza City.

Israel has been under attack or threat of attack continuously since 1948, yet the braying jackasses of leftism want Israel to give up more to those who are doing the attacking and threatening. No wonder the UN gets about as much respect as the gum stuck to my boot sole.
On the other hand, I really do enjoy it when things come back to bite the UN, like this “greeting” from the 7th Century barbarian screwheads. It’s a bit like watching the various leftist mayors getting hammered by the #Occupy scum they formerly embraced.

Violent demonstrations have a history of success, it is the old squeaky wheel gets the grease thing. Most politicians have only one permanent idea and that is to gain higher office or retain the one they have. The silent majority is ignored, but riots in the street get their attention and they think it is their job to “do something”, that something is throw other peoples money at the noise as though the problem is economic. Of course the problem in every muslim country is the political nature of their so called religion and the economic failures are a symptom not the cause.
