Cardinal-designate Archbishop Timothy Dolan told Catholic News Agency that the Catholic Church “didn’t ask for this fight” over religious freedom with the Obama Administration. He also said, “You can’t compromise principles.”
Bishop Dolan also scolded far left Sister Carol Keehan, the head of Catholic Hospitals, for acting unilaterally not in concert with the US bishops in approving the guidelines.
