Sarah Palin ripped Michelle Obama tonight on Hannity. After watching a clip of the First Lady defending her husband’s failed policies, she says,
“Oh Lord. Oh Lord! Are we just numskulls out here in the heartland of America? Just a bunch of numskulls who can’t read the unemployment numbers and see that 5 trillion dollars in new debt later under her husband, President Obama, five trillion dollars more, we still have fewer jobs today than before he took over. But, we’re numskulls out here and we just don’t understand what these numbers mean what they represent.”

Palin is actually partially correct. Many of the people in America who grew up in the entitlement culture actually are numskulls. Those people who squandered their developmental years know that there will never be enough remedial training available to them (nor would they ever avail themselves of it) to get them to be productive members of our society. These numskulls buy Obama’s rap because they have no other path to financial security than being dependent upon the state.
This is why Obama HAS to borrow and spend so much. He has to keep the parasites in the dough so they will vote Democratic. Once they cobble together a 51% voting majority of the electorate – they will then go for the gusto with respect to taxation, bureaucratic regulations and vastly expended social programs – and SOCIALISM.
These parasites have great animosity towards people of accomplishment. While they are indeed angry about their plot in life, they are transferring their anger (and Obama is greasing the path for this) onto others instead of taking an honest look at their own culture of dependency and failure. Their anger would be better placed on the machine of the Democratic plantation that has kept them down for so long. The failure of so many people to become productive and fulfilled members of our society is attributable to their denial about what has kept then from embracing education and adopting values of accomplishment. And their failures to adapt and get beyond their own difficulties is NOT attributable to wealthy people who became people of accomplishment.
This psychological transference of anger has the potential to take America down. When large numbers of people engage in denial, as in the parable about the Emperor With No Clothes, they can indeed bring about the demise of nations. We must do everything we can possibly do to force people to see the truth that our present “Emperor” has no clothes whatsoever and that he is nothing more than a charlatan who has never accomplished anything of substance in his entire life. Affirmative action in action!

I’m not familiar with the Illinois State Bar (I’m a Washington State lawyer), but it’s also possible that Michelle Obama chose to voluntarily let her bar membership go inactive or become suspended because she was no longer practicing law and didn’t want to pay the sizeable dues. In Washington we can also become suspended involuntarily for failure to pay dues, or for failure to complete the required Continuing Legal Education credits.
That’s not the same as being disbarred for misconduct. Michelle worked at a very large law firm at the beginning of her career, and only for four years; at those firms the junior associates are kept far, far away from clients and from the courtroom, and certainly from the money, so it doesn’t seem likely that she would even have had the opportunity to screw up enough to get herself drummed out of the profession.
She still seems like a nasty, dumb bitch. But it seems unlikely she was disbarred.

But to add to your point, they also dropped 6 million jobs from the job pool, and wrote off the corresponding workers as “no longer looking”. If they hadn’t done that, the actual rate today is closer to 15% for the way it is currently calculated, and more like 20% if you simply count the percent of able-bodied adults either unable to find work, not looking, or working part time.
Obama won’t have “created” any jobs at all until he replaces the millions he has cost first.
Lastly, it’s not the government’s job, and more importantly the government has no authority or constitutional obligation, to create jobs. Our side has to stop getting sucked into this jobs issue.

of passing if then-Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, who shared Palin's goals,
succeeded her as governor. As a private citizen, meanwhile, Palin
could make enough money to pay her legal bills. And she would no
longer be accused of neglecting her official duties.
Some might say that Palin's resignation was shortsighted and showed
that she was not ready for the demands of executive office. But if Palin
had remained governor, she would have been denied opportunities to
rally the tea party and fight in the battle over the Obama agenda. She
would have been stuck on a regional stage. Instead, she's back on the

I confess I’ve never understood that collectivist trait of the left. She is always demanding that someone on Obama’s staff should be fired. That is fine for her to say–let’s look at all the people in her family that should be fired.
