Rep. Allen West Defends Newt Gingrich – Slams Clyburn and Race-Baiting Libs (Video)

Allen West 2012!
Rep. Allen West (R-FL) defended Newt Gingrich and slammed Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) for his racist comments hurled at South Carolina voters.
The Daily Caller reported:
Florida Republican Rep. Allen West told The Daily Caller that Democratic Rep. James Clyburn and Rev. Al Sharpton claiming Newt Gingrich used race to win in the South Carolina GOP presidential primary is “absolutely reprehensible.”
“Under President Obama’s leadership, there’s been a 41 percent increase in food stamp recipients in the United States of America,” West told TheDC after hosting a Conservative Black Forum on Capitol Hill Monday. (RELATED: More on Allen West)
“If there are people such as Rep. Clyburn that don’t want to face up to the truth then that’s on them and I think it’s absolutely reprehensible that they feel that the only thing they can fall back on is try to create some type of racial division which we know that the Democrats are already trying to create some type of class warfare division as well,” he said.”

The playing of the race card is getting very old. We have lazy good for nothings in all races. If folks want food stamps or welfare checks let them get out and pick up trash along our roadways or do something ,anything to better the towns they live in for the checks they get.

In 2010 (the last year available) more whites received food stamps than blacks and hispanics combined. See the first line of Table 10, page 76.

[While welfare is often suspected of use by Republicans as a buzz word
against hostile Black Democratic majorities, it is a problem for everyone.
The issue still needs frank discussion. “Even the devil can quote scripture”
my late mother warned. Welfare hasn’t made low income communities of
all colors produce great returns on public dollars. Location and recipient
ethnicity are irrelevant in the broader sense. Neighborhoods like mine are
up to our throats in problems made by the current welfare system. Saying
other people get it more still doesn’t undo this system’s disproportionate
impact. My response remains the same, “So what if more Whites are on

Forty-nine percent of recipients are white, 26 percent are black and 20 percent are Hispanic, according to Census data.
Food stamp recipients have gone up by 13 million and 49% are White, 26% are blacks, 20 percent are Hispanic.
Clyburn and Sharpton need to start reading stats on this program. More are on food stamps and whites received more. I am perplex that these black leaders have no idea what the stats are and with a click of the mouse, they could become informed.
Therefore, we have unintelligent people who are leaders and work for MSNBC. I suggest that the hateful comments by Sharpton are in an ad for the republican party. PAC AD. And I also suggest that Clyburn is in the ad.
Some very magnetic and eye popping to wake up the blacks, whites and Hispanic in America. America needs a good shaking because they are being lead astray by their own people. Secondly, our school system is a disaster if politicians don’t have facts straight and our misleading the voters, purposely.

I will be honest, I had to get the stamps for about 3 months last year. It was hard to walk in that office to get them. The lady gave me an up and down look like “girlfriend, what are YOU doing here?” I had to sit in her office with a huge Obama photo on her desk and she said all kinds of nice things about him. I about puked but thought of my children the whole time. I appreciate the help for my family but worked hard to get another job and called in to cancel them!!! It was a great day.

Statistics are a funny thing. When broken down by racial demographics to total population, those who identify as being:
White – 75.1%
Black – 12.3%
Asian – 3.6%
Narive Hawiian or other Pacific Islander – 0.1%
American Indian or Alaskan Native – 0.9%
2 or more races – 2.4%
Some other race – 5.5%
Those identifying as one of the above and also Hispanic or Latino – 12.5%
Population of the US is around 308,745,538 souls, give or take.

Food stamps are a way to help those who are temporarily in a bind and I’m glad there is that mechanism for folks like you. It’s those who abuse the system or do not even try to better their lives so as to not need them that get people frustrated.

When are white conservatives finally going to stand up to charges of racism without dragging out their “black friend” to do the fighting for them.
And lately it seems like it’s always Allen West.
I like Allen West, but it doesn’t take a black person to refute charges of racism, it just takes an objective person.
Anyway, who’s West trying to convince? It isn’t like the “black community” is going to listen to West and say “Oh, well if Allen West says it isn’t racism, then it must not be”. Clyburn has a stranglehold on the black vote in his district. He’ll never truly be taken to task or lose an election over anything he says. He’s one of the Democrat party’s unassailable snipers. If you’ve never been there, you should drive through his district and look at the giant billboards with his face on them. Sickening.
