Donald Trump told Greta Van Susteren tonight that if Ron Paul wins the caucus tomorrow,
“If he won it would be a tremendous black eye for Iowa.”
Donald Trump: If Ron Paul Wins It Will Be a Tremendous Black Eye For Iowa
Did Hell freeze over? I think the Donald actually said something correct for a change.
Tee Dub (proud Iowan)
If Iowans vote for Romney it’s a second black eye.
That’s the possible consequence of snifffing too much fertilizer and corn ethanol.
LOL… ANOTHER IDIOT KOOK! Tell me, where do yo get these buffoons?
#3 We really don’t know Craig. Lets ask your parents.
I understand in a poll conducted by the NY Times, 96% of the responders believe a blue, talking, dancing monkey would be elected president before they could believe that Craig had the IQ of a potato.
I like your arguing JCraig… not one argument… lol
If Ron Paul wins Iowa, the establishment will ignore it.
If Newt or Romney win Iowa, it’s the “will of the people” and a “victory” for the establishment.
Funny how it works… the 2008 caucus was soooooo important. They are afraid of RP, boo hoo.
Trump is another globalist runt (rhymes with).
Last time around Iowa picked Huckleberry hound. It must be in their genes to like sad droopy faces. All the huffing and puffing by Trump over Paul’s rise…sounds like he is bluffing at 3rd party run.
Craig perhaps you can enlighten all of us with your usual incredible facts and mastery of logic?
I see Craig and his hand puppets have decided to entertain us with their steroid fueled dementia.
I’m no Paul or Romney fan, but that DEMOCRAT Trump can kiss my ass.
Still no argument, JCraig! I guess you have no clue whatsoever.
Here, just for you, go on that site: http://prisonplanet.tv/news/index.php
There is a 15 days free trial to watch the Show. Maube then, you will gather a few arguments…lol
I meant maybe… can’t find my glasses.
Hummm! Well, I don’t think those who like Paul will think much of that Comment.
But if Paul decides to run on Third Party, we will see Obama in the White House for a Second Term.
how did that big trump debate on 12/27 in Iowa do? not all bitches are women, donald.
If Myth Romney wins Iowa , its an impressive historical first in a one two punch IA / NH victory locking down the nomination before it even gets going. If Paul wins Iowa, they are crazy rural white racist red necks to be shunned in shame. See how democracy works in amerikkka.
Who declared Donald “I’m a Registered Independent, Not a Republican” Fat-Cat, Special Interest Elitist Trump as an official Decider for the Conservatives?
This man is the king of spectacle, bling, consumption, excess, and farce. He’s all that is wrong with this nation. You can admire him for being successful in making worthless enterprises, but it’s be more honorable to have respect for a bookie for building a profitable business.
As an Iowan, I’m disgusted with the absolute crap the RINO party has given us to consider. If I had an option to vote “NONE OF THESE WORTHLESS HACKS,” I would tomorrow. Mitt’s a political prostitute who will vote for whatever his John pays him to support. Newt is the smartest man in the room, with another big government program for whatever ails you. Michelle can’t set aside her quirky fundamentalist desire to impose her morality on others. Rick’s claim to fame is that he’s like George Bush, just not quite the intellectual, plus he brings the southern tent revival baggage with him and refuses to sign a pledge to stay the hell out of social issues.
Santorum simply scares the hell out of a lot of us with his bizarro comments on gays, blacks, and general struggles with logic and discourse. If nominated, all Obama has to do is lay out a wet paper sack and it’ll trip him up through the general election. Never mind the fact that Vander Plaats, a laughing stock of a fundamentalist nutball in Iowa who’s famous for being a political gadfly, a tiny bible school graduate who thinks he’s the next Lincoln yet can’t seem to win a single election, apparently sucked a million bucks out of Rick in order to get his backing. Nice con work if you can get it.
Which brings us to Ron Paul, the object of so much fat cat, insider hatred. In spite of the fact the man consults with orbiting alien spaceships, has a foreign policy command that would be as inept as the current administration’s (if you examine Obama’s, it strangely mirrors Paul’s plan. Go figure), and probably would have zero capacity to work with Congress, I’m tempted to vote for the oddball.
Why? If all these screwballs who have leveraged this country to the hilt and pocketed the borrowings hate him so much, if the country club elites can’t stand him, perhaps he’s the only choice. Both parties have played the game to the point of killing the goose for the eggs.
So… there’s four votes here from Iowa looking for a home. You RNC types utterly failed in giving us a credible reform candidate. You killed off Cain and anyone else capable of meaningful reform. Huntsman killed himself off with his quirky antics and novice comments saying Iowa doesn’t grow Presidents, it grows corn (yea, just like Obama, eh?).
Don’t blame Iowa for dealing with the utter trash we were given to vote with.
Everybody here knows that I am a ferocius birther who hates Obama. But to be honnest, I think Obama would still be better than all the GOP candidates, except of course for Ron Paul.
Hang on …need more popcorn… the paulchinians are getting worked up again
Well guess what Craig? Nobody gives a crap what you think, because you aren’t even a citizen of this country. I lost all respect for you when you told us you think 9/11 was an inside job … only a complete idiot could think that.
There’s a lot of merit in what you say. Machievelli observed (as approximated) that you don’t go after the king unless you’re certain to kill him. Applied to our situation, a party doesn’t dare take ownership of the executive branch these next four years unless they can and will do something to resolve the imminent and total U.S. economic (and probable political) collapse.
As one who works in global capital and has the financial and economic education, I’m in agreement with an increasing number of analysts who believe at this point, the complete and catastrophic failure of the U.S. government’s monetary system is inevitable. I’d give us less than 5% to avoid it, and only with extreme austerity measures both the rich and poor will never accept (the rich because they know it’ll lead to political instabilities akin to French Revolution head choppings, when the people of this nation learn just how much they’ve robbed us all).
Instead, they will punt, buying another 2-3 years. This will almost certainly happen with defaults in 2013-2014. But that’s the 5% chance they can kick the can one more time. With the dynamics in China of softening there and rapid militarization (which is driven by our economic collapse, as China expects nationalistic stupidity and hostility when we default on our debt obligations to them), the can kicking will most likely fail. The nation at this point will almost certainly throw out the entire party in office and seek a solution from those who don’t own the Presidency.
The point is this: if the RNC candidate can’t hit the 5% scenario, it’s time to punt the ball to the Democrats. A Ron Paul vote would probably do just that.
Romney’s going to crash it into the wall; he’s about giving presents to his backers. More of the same. Newt might have more ideals, but they’re about spending for neat government ideas. I’ve talked with Bachmann and Perry staffers in Iowa regarding a pledge to shelve all social issues and they refuse; in fact, Bachmann came out this last week with a new hard core social conservative position. Apparently attacking gay marriage is more important than sustaining the country it takes place within. Santorem is even worse, in an Inspector Clouseau sort of bumbling fundamentalist way.
And I’m not alone in this view here in southwest Iowa. After the progressive elites in both parties took out Cain, they pretty much screwed the pooch.
