The Obama Administration spent $200 million on the Egyptian elections only to see the Islamists win in a landslide.

Newsmax reported, via Orbusmax:
The Obama administration spent some $200 million on democracy building in the lead-up to the elections this week in Egypt.
But with 65 percent of the vote going to Islamist candidates, it doesn’t appear the money was well spent.
Stephen McInerney, executive director of the Project on Middle East Democracy, told Campaigns & Elections magazine that $65 million went to Egypt after the uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak and an additional $100 million was earmarked for economic development but also to train Egypt’s nascent political parties.
The money is going through the State Department, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the International Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute.
A Washington-based consultant who works with USAID and the State Department says the focus of the aid to Egypt has been on helping the smaller political parties that are competing against the better organized Freedom and Justice Party, the Muslim Brotherhood’s party.

It’s not money misspent if your goal is to have the Muslim Brotherhood in control of Egypt. That this has been Obama’s goal has been clear since his insistance on the outlawed-by-Egypt/Mubarak-Muslim Brotherhood being invited to attend and to sit in prominance for Obama’s June 2009 speech in Cairo to the “Muslim world”.
Obama was silent during the Iran uprisings of a couple of years back because his preference of Islamist governance was already in place there. He’s now succeeded in paving the way for Islamist/Muslim Brotherhood control of Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Somalia – still watching/waiting for the final put-down of rebellion in Syria. Lebanon has been taken care of, the Palestinians are…well..the Palistinians. Next will be Jordan, though he may not bother with them – then Obama will have everything sewn up for the Islamists to make their move on Israel.
Clearly – Obama considers that $200 million money well spent. Being the U.S. president sure has its perks when you’re the king of anti-Americans/king of anti-semites, eh?

Our usaid people were scammed they had no idea where the money went or to who. The money went to front organizers and out the back with 5 cents on the dollar for little show actions but ten % went in their pocket, 10% to the mosque and the reminder to the muslim brotherhood. Anybody who has lived there knows how things like this are done there.

This can only be construed as failure if you accept the Obama regime’s stated goal: democratize the Middle East.
I would submit that this Machiavellian fraud achieved precisely what he intended to do: destabilize the entire region through the promotion of “radical” Islam (radical is tongue in cheek, Islam has been a war-generating, conquest-seeking political movement since it’s creation, if that is what is meant by “radical”).
Oil prices will remain high, which is a plus for someone committed to driving the price up which guarantees the stagnation of the American economy, something he also seeks (according to his, and the left’s, complaint that we unfairly consure a disproportionate volume of the world’s resources).
I think it is obvious by the sum of his words that he despises the U.S. at it’s core, and must or why would he see a need for fundamental change?
He’ll go down in history someday as the worst kind of traitor. Right along with others in history who brought down their own contries and empires. Sadly though, few speak to which rulers actually caused the most damage to their own contries.

Let us assume Obama succeeded at his objectives. We know he speaks Arabic. We know he met with the MB. We don’t know what he told them. We do know what they say in Arabic is not what they say in English. We do know he has helped to bring about the rise of the Islamic caliphate. We do know that one of them wanted him to proclaim himself caliph. We do know the Muslims have huge power in DC, so much so that the Copts can’t be heard. We do know that Obama disdains Christianity. And, we should assume that if Obama is reelected we will see the extension of the caliphate to the USA. What we are seeing in the ME, dear friends, is what Obama willfully and deliberately brought about. It’s no failure. It is success. Take that to the bank.
