New Details in the Hezbollah/Mexican Cartel Drug Ring

By: Rachel Pulaski

I would like to first say that I am honored to contribute to The Gateway Pundit while Jim is away. Currently I am a contributor/researcher for NewsNM.com and a radio commentator for their syndicated radio show. My mother was Ruth Owens aka “Lady Liberty” aka “Chisum” and it brings me great pleasure to contribute to the blog she was entirely devoted to. My mother played a critical role in shaping my political principles and ideals. She also taught me that it is my duty as a citizen of this great country to stay involved in politics to protect our freedoms for future generations. At my mother’s funeral I made a promise to Jim that I would help carry her torch in any way possible and Jim was kind enough to provide me that opportunity. Most importantly, I would like to thank all of my mother’s supporters and fans, your kind words and prayers during her illness and passing brought her and our family great comfort. God Bless You All.

Now for some news…

In February Fox News reported Hezbollah was “rubbing shoulders” with drug cartel along the Mexican border.  They also included some frightening statistics:

We also know from DHS documents that over 180,000 illegal aliens from countries Other than Mexico were apprehended from 2007 through mid-March 2010 and the State Department Country Reports on Terrorism said that “smuggling rings have been detected moving people from East Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia”. I am told these people and drugs are then moved up through Central America and into the Unites States through Mexico.

Today we receive new details in the case of a Lebanese national who is the ringleader of the international drug smuggling group that works with Mexican drug cartel as well as Hezbollah.  Aymon Joumaa has been indicted and is still at large.  The Blaze has more:

The indictment was announced Tuesday in federal court in Alexandria against Ayman Joumaa, who is currently at large. It alleges he led a conspiracy that, among other activities, sold nearly 100 tons of Colombian cocaine to the Zetas drug cartel in Mexico between 2005 and 2007 that was ultimately smuggled into the United States. The conspiracy has run since at least 2004 and at times brought in as much as $200 million in a single month, according to court documents.

A report from earlier today revealed a cyber-attack on the U.S. by radical Islamic groups in Mexico and a recent report tells of Hezbollah’s global secret spying capabilities. So being the gracious and giving Americans that we are, we handed their ally and advocate (Iran) a U.S. billion dollar drone to help sharpen those “mad” skills.  But just in case they need a little more help, the National Park Service has proposed an unmanned border entry in Texas with Mexico.   Don’t worry though, CBP spokesman William Brooks said:

“I think it’s actually going to end up making security better.”

Now if we could just find a way to give them guns too, maybe the ATF and DOJ could help us with that.

Thanks, Barry.  I live one hour from the Mexican border, your hope and change is keeping me real warm at night.

Thanks for sharing!
