More Drone Drama…Afghanistan’s Complicity

The Daily Caller reported this morning that the “U.S. Drone May Have Come Down in Afghanistan, Not Iran“…
The CIA’s RQ-170 “Sentinel” drone captured by the Iranians last week may have gone down in Afghanistan and then transported to Iran by friendly forces on the ground, a former officer in the elite Quds Force branch of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards told The Daily Caller.
Did our paid-for ally, Afghanistan, turn on us? Billions of dollars in aid, thousands of lives, and this is what we get. Clearly, Obama isn’t respected by ANYONE, most especially our “allies”.
With allies like these who needs enemies?

Really? I believe that it was landed in Iran, before i believe in that they were able to get it across the border to Iran without us not being aware of it’s whereabouts.
They are trying to take away from the Fact that we gave the drone to Iran….

They may technically be an “ally”, but Afghanistan is made up of a whole bunch of tribes, a number of which may or may not be friendly with the U.S.
That’s why when a mechanical asset is lost, even in nominally friendly territory, a recovery or destruction effort should be mounted immediately.

The other day Gen. McInerny was on Fox. He said that because the drone has no damage, it obviously did not crash. Since “something” had to have gone wrong with it, and our military didn’t guide it back to our guys – it means they COULDN’T guide it back. Since it’s undamaged/didn’t crash, and we couldn’t guide it back, the only explanation is that the Iranians [and Russian, or Chinese playmates] did indeed successfully hack into the computer controlled guidance system – and took control of its’ flight. How could they accomplish that? Did they have “assistance” calling for someone to go before a firing squad?
Whatever the nuances involved, the upshot is that they not only have the drone and all of its top-secret finery – they also have the ability to hijack our highly specialized/secret defense hardware. They’ve essentially turned our sniper rifle into a water pistol – which now WILL be THEIR sniper rifle…whoever “they” are, whether singularly or collectively.
Bottom line: the offensive line of protection for our boots on the ground in war theatres has been horrifically, if not catastrophically compromised.
There is NO acceptable excuse for this to have happened, and it’s on Obama’s plate. Disgustingly – he’s probably very pleased with what has transpired. The Iranians may have not reported that the predator arrived on their door-s…cave-step…swathed in Christmas wrappings with a big red bow.
And notice – the MSM has already swept the story under the rug! Nothing to see here…

I’m sure the Russians and the Chinese have been working furiously to overcome our aerial assets. It looks like they succeded. I’m also sure someone has been helping them from inside our military/development teams. This is a major disaster.
Does anyone else consider that this following closely on the heels of our spy assets in the Middle East getting compromised seems a bit “lucky” for the enemy?

Economy is bad but things seems to look bright in the Manufacturer scheme of things. Heard that American Manufacturers need help with pumps, machines and the blue collar work that American was built on. These are fields where we need help and thanks to the initiative and the ingenuity of Americans who have had it with being do nothings and marching to the tune of Obama are getting educated in jobs where they have hands on training and just exactly what we need.
This said, our national security is job one and I have said this for years. Something is very wrong in this administration and who are they hiring, who is accountable? We need some answers as to why China, Iran and other enemies are managing to gather secrets and drones from this nation. Had defense been cut so deeply that we are becoming so lacks that these nations with ease are literally stomping on what is suppose to be secret and keeps us secure.
Without security and the economy so horrible why is it Obama has kept is job this long.
Cartels and Iran in Mexico, just off our borders? Drones falling int the laps of our worse enemy, China has gain technology because we allowed a helicopter to be left and not destroyed. This just doesn’t make sense. We are giving our enemies the keys to everything.

The downing of the drones, one crashed and that was what it was supposed to do. The other just landed. This is serious news for me and many who are so embarrassed by our Defense.
I want some heads to roll. I am disgusted with Obama’s tactics. It is like he is a child who just doesn’t care about our nation. He has money and he did say that what happens to America so be it but his girls will be well taken care. It appears to me the possibility of the following options:
1. The Anti-Christ is bringing in his NWO by dismantling the U.S. of America by arming our enemies & disarming our allies.
2. God is allowing the nations to arm themselves to the teeth so that when they all come against Israel, He will be able to show the world His strength & smite them.

A very non-trivial bit of “trivia”, heard this AM on Fox: with the implementation of military cuts demanded by the Obama administration, the US Navy will be smaller than it was on December 7, 1941. The overall size of the US military fighting forces will be smaller than it was in August 1914.

Truth, I do understand where Paul is coming from. And we shouldn’t disrupt other nations way of living. But what will he do under some tricky circumstances. Something unexpected. No doubt he would protect Americans but with what, fingers and toes.
He frightens me even though Wars are wrong but under some circumstance they must be fought. We don’t want to be a nation filled with attacks on OUR freedoms either. You just can predict Ron Paul’s actions if elected and Americans won’t elect Ron Paul, anyway.

obama’s failure to destroy the drone and allow iran to get it is a scandal, which should lead to his resignation. If this was Bush, all you would be hearing 24/7 is about the lost drone and impeachment proceedings would already have begun. @Redlite, when do you think most of them live already? The trip is a very short one. All we have to do is what we did to Germany in WW-II. (And Pakistan might benefit from such treatment, too.)
More seriously – if what we’ve been told by some of the very first articles the plane is supposed to go into an orbit and settle to the ground when it runs out of fuel. With nobody flying it “settle” might best be read as crash fairly gently.
If it went into orbit, why did it end up over Iran if it didn’t start over Iran. Of course, I am not sure we’ve been told truthfully where it was flying. So little can be pulled out of the situation by analysis as yet.

Assuming that we anticipated that Iran would use its computer systems to determine what information is in the drone’s on-board computers, is it possible that this was a ruse to plant a virus, ala Stuxnet, into the Iranian intelligence’s computer system?
