What a disgrace.
As Congress wrangled over extending tax cuts to millions of Americans Barack Obama went shopping for “Just Dance 3.”

The Politico reported:

President Barack Obama took a break from wrangling with House Republicans on Wednesday afternoon for a quick pre-Christmas shopping trip to buy gifts for his daughters and Bo the dog.

After calling congressional leaders to reaffirm his support for the Senate-passed two-month extension of the payroll tax cut and unemployment insurance, Obama exited the Oval Office with Bo in tow and headed to a shopping strip in Alexandria, Va. — a man alone with his dog as his family vacations in Hawaii.

    Yet, he comes out and says Republicans fault. Over and over. The democrats are bashing them and these are the leaders who continue this partisanship while the middle class waits and wonders if the will get a $1,000 tax break. Yes, Congress makes the laws, Obama goes over Congress’s head in Libya and that too is wrong. Obama wants it is way or he will continue to blame Congress. His inference and disdain for Congress is palpable.

    Excellent point. Then you should be blaming the senate democrats because there are 28 jobs bills waiting for a senate vote. I’m sure you’ll be encouraging the democrats to get to work passing this legislation so the president can sign them, right? You did know that these bills existed, right? Because someone as astute as yourself wouldn’t claim that the house of representatives wasn’t doing their job, like not passing a budget for 900+ days(like the democratic senate), right?

    Holy crap people…he bought his kids something for Christmas. He didn’t go on vacation. Give the man a break. I refuse to say anything negative about someone trying to get a gift or two for his kids. What about family? Yes he is the president. Yes he has his duties. He also has a family. A family I might note that he can’t spend a holiday vacation with like most people do during the holidays. So if the man wants to buy gifts then let him buy gifts. He is still in Washington. I have said in the past that I don’t buy gifts. And for years I didn’t, but this year I did. Am I to be attacked because I decided to change my mind? Some people just don’t have any better to do but complain. Mad when he was going to have a vacation. That didn’t happen, so now everyone is mad that he bought his children some gifts.
