Dick Morris told The O’Reilly Factor tonight that the fact that Ron Paul is surging in the polls is “horrible.”
“Ron Paul is absolutely the most liberal, radical, left-wing person to run for president in the last 50 years.”

Perhaps its because only half of Paul’s supporters aren’t Republicans. Isn’t it strange that the if JFK ran today he would be considered a conservative. Says something about the Dhimmies. As for Paul he’s so popular he is going to retire to spend more time with his family, smell the roses, and improve his collection of hub caps. But mostly he is going to rot.

Thanks. Got it. Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina decide the GOP nominee.

retire05 commented:
jhp, so what if Paul is leading? Iowa delegates are awarded proportionally. So if Paul takes even 30%, he winds up with 8 delegates. That’s a long, long way from the over 1,100 a candidate needs to take the nomination.
But with a Paul win in Iowa, it will only confirm what a lot of people have been saying that Iowa is only important in its own mind. And Iowa has a firm track record of picking losers.

Among that group are libertarians, dissatisfied independents and Democrats who are trying to throw a monkey wrench in the campaign by voting for someone who is more philosophically extreme," says Smith.

Still, the non-Republicans could play a major role in Iowa’s, New Hampshire’s and South Carolina’s caucuses. Yeah, you’ve said this multiple times now and it’s still not persuasive. The lack of a conservative leading the GOP ticket the past couple of election cycles is a reflection of the quality of the Republican candidates more than the ideological make-up of the country. Nice try. You wrote earlier that “we are a center left country” and then then when challenged on it by me (see #54), you completely ignored what I wrote and instead wrote a bunch of general statements about how the country can’t be conservative simply because there has been a dearth of conservative presidential candidates on the GOP ticket the past two election cycles. Well, part of that is because the conservative candidates end up pulling support from each other in the presidential primaries and more moderate candidates end up gaining the advantage. McCain won the nomination that way in 2008 and Romney probably will do the same in 2012, though both had/have troubles earning more than 25% support in the primaries, while the 3-5 more conservative candidates split a much higher percentage of primary voters.
As I wrote in #54, it’s a fact that polls show that conservatives outnumber liberals 2-1 … it’s a fact that a majority want ObamaCare repealed … it’s a fact that left-leaning Democrats like Bill Clinton and Obama had to campaign as moderates with some conservative views or govern differently than many of their liberal campaign positions (e.g., foreign policy and national security issues). But in response you toss out meaningless and vacuous comments, such as the population of the country when a huge number of the 310+ million American citizens aren’t even eligible to run for POTUS. Your “logic,” “intellect”, and debating “skills” are lacking, which I believe is largely why you went on the offensive early on in this thread and started projecting your own flaws and foibles onto others by tossing out insults like “dumbass” and “stupid idiot.” You really are the prototypical Ron Paul supporter.
BTW, like an intellectual coward, you haven’t even bothered acknowledging the outright falsehoods you’ve uttered in this thread, such as trying to attribute the blame for deficits to the Republican controlled House when Democrats controlled the House from 2007 through 2010, when the annual budget deficits expanded to never-before-seen levels.

Actually, I think you and your pal jhp are laughable. And the “s” on the end was a typo as you can read from my full sentence in post #60 (“…earned around a million dollars a year”), as the revenue for Paul’s newsletter business was close to $1 million a year. As is written and cited on Paul’s Wikipedia page: “For 1992, RP&A earned $940,000 and employed Paul’s family as well as Lew Rockwell (its vice-president[54] and occasional editor)[55] and seven other workers.” Also, “Ron Paul & Associates (RP&A), Inc. was initiated during 1984 by Paul, who was its President. Lew Rockwell was its Vice President, Ron Paul’s wife Carol was Secretary, and Lori Pyeatt was the Treasurer. The company published a variety of newsletters. An article in Reason magazine, citing tax documents, said that it had revenues of more than $900,000 in 1993.[35]”
So, his newsletter business earns around $1 million a year in revenue but Paul doesn’t have any idea of the content being sent out in his name, with his signature on it? Sounds like the type of dishonest and disingenuous behavior one would expect from a dishonest politician … you know, the types you deranged Paul supporters claim to loathe and claim Paul is nothing like.

If you had any intellectual honesty, you would at least acknowledge that the congressional Democrats and Obama have been to blame as much if not more than the Republicans for the deficit problems. That’s all I was saying with my response to jhp’s earlier comment in which he falsely claimed/implied that the Republicans controlled the House when the deficit skyrocketed out of control. You gentlemen are some pieces of work. Keep at it please.
Yeah, you’re a piece of something alright. So what you’ve “proven” is, unlike the Ron Paul supporters, conservatives tend to be more diverse in thought and have multiple leaders, not just one. Let me explain. I know you’re used to the Paul movement where everyone just falls behind the crazy old coot with a cult-like level of motivation, but that doesn’t work when one is dealing with a diverse group, like conservatives, who don’t exhibit cult-like support for one chosen candidate every single presidential election.
The irony is how you’re disparaging conservatives for not nominating a conservative in 2008 or possibly in 2012, but Paulbots keep pushing Paul on the public every presidential election and he never wins a primary, much less the nomination. Of course, that’s apparently OK with you and other Paul supporters. However, the fact that the GOP doesn’t unite around one conservative as the party nominee means that the whole conservative movement is discounted or that the country isn’t a center-right country? Do you not see the hypocrisy or the stupidity of your point of view?
Conservatives may struggle with getting their preferred candidate at the top of the ticket every election cycle, including 2008, but that’s due largely to variety of conservative candidates compared to moderate candidates among the GOP candidates. Is it that difficult for you to understand?

Pedophiles are just “minor-attracted persons”
[“Although the stupidity of advocating harmless amoral sexuality overwhelms us daily, our arrogant ‘educated’ populations say morality has no place in our sexual lives,” Reisman said. “Just as AIDS is a natural outgrowth of amoral sexual education and media, so too is child sexual abuse. We are breeding a new human character and child sexual abuse is increasingly part of that character.”
“I, for one, have had enough,” Barber told LifeSiteNews. “These sexual anarchists, whatever their perverse stripe, need to leave our children alone and let kids be kids.”
According to Professor Reisman, "“They know that to own the future, they must own the minds of our children. Hence, groups like B4U-ACT, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, Planned Parenthood and the like, utilize academia, from pre-school to post-graduate, in order to brainwash and indoctrinate.”]

It’s ridiculous, because the AFOREMENTIONED LIBTARDS KNOW the truth. IF Republicans were guilty of what these REEEEEEEEEEETARDS CLAIM, these RETARDS would support REPUBLICANS.

Dick Morris is a loser, a directionless blabbermouth who would switch horses in the middle of the river on a whim. His assessment of Ron Paul is as meaningless as his prior adoration for all things Clintonian.
BUT… none of that alters the fact that Ron Paul is a lunatic who just happens to back into the truth once in a while. Sure, he’s as old as the hills, but I don’t blame senility. He’s always been a loon.
Nothing more successfully confirms Ron Paul’s lunacy than reading the parrot-like chantings of his Heaven’s Gate-style cult members.

I have noticed on some of the comments people believe the Iowa caucus are not important. Don’t believe that. The news media and establishment Republicans have run that lie up the flagpole because the wrong guy may win it. The Iowa vote brought the Christian conservative vote to the forefront and that note alone helps shape the Republican platform. History is on the Iowans side although they don’t pick all the winners they show strength of leadership and usually a nice bump of donations going into the primary states.
Dick Morris used to work for Bill Clinton what does he know about conservatism anyway? I like Ron Paul I would like to see him become President. People are scared of his foreign policy. The media tells you to be but they are wrong. There is a nice video about his policies on you tube if you have a few minutes check it out. I found it very informative. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=I8NhRPo0WAo

Do yourself a favor and actually read the thread. First of all, the user name is “Slappy,” not “SNAPPY.” Second, I thought it was pretty clear from my comments that I’m strongly anti-Ron Paul. I even compared the guy and his followers to well-known cult leaders and their followers. Lastly, I’m about as far from being a “LIBTARD” as one can be, which is clear if you actually read my posts. [The Globe’s revelations are consistent with information obtained by WMR during a May investigation conducted in Chicago. On May 24, WMR reported:“President Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel are lifetime members of the same gay bath house in uptown Chicago, according to informed sources in Chicago’s gay community, as well as veteran political sources in the city.” The report added, “WMR spoke to several well-placed sources in Chicago who reported that Jeremiah Wright, the pastor of Obama’s former church of 20 years, Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) on Chicago’s south side, ran what was essentially a matchmaking service for gay married black professional members of the church, including lawyers and businessmen, particularly those with children. The matchmaking club was called the ‘Down Low Club’ but references to it over the phone and email simply referred to the group with the code phrase ‘DLC.’ The ruse, according to our sources, was to make anyone who was eavesdropping on the communications [FBI wiretaps in the Rod Blagojevich case likely contain such references] believe that the references were to the Democratic Leadership Council, also known as the DLC . . . Among the members of the gay ‘DLC’ were Obama and TUCC’s choir director, Donald Young, an openly gay man who reportedly had a sexual relationship with Obama. Two other gay members of the church were Larry Bland and Nate Spencer. Young and Bland were brutally murdered, execution style, in late 2007. Bland was murdered on November 17, 2007 and Young on December 24, 2007. The latter was killed by multiple gunshot wounds. Spencer reportedly died on December 26, 2007, official cause of death: ‘septicemia, pneumonia, and HIV.’”]

The more politicians, media, and talk show hosts despise him, the more I think he’s got the answer. The fact that The Establishment of All That Says What Is want him to disappear gives credibility to what Mr. Paul says will fix the country. Or we can do what Mr. Einstien defines as insanity and cry about it for the next 4 years until a career politician with no education outside of business, politics, and law outlaws dissent.
Nate commented:
Whats even more laughable, is even if Paul wins Iowa or any other number of states, The Establishment of All That Says What Is will cry out that is not what the majority of decent Americans feel! Even though the majority of Americans cast a vote that way. They STILL won’t accept that America is done with their way of doing business! We’re DONE! I’d rather have a NUT with GUTS than any of the other clowns!

Ron Paul is an enigma. If you watch him interviewed he sounds good until pressed on certain issues.
Congressman Paul is a Libertarian which means that he has only one solution for any and all social issues–say nothing and let people do their own thing. However, our government has never been more Libertarian than it is now, and as predicted we are now coming apart at the seams.
I am for Michelle Bachman. Strange as it may seem she is the only person running in the Iowa caucus with balls.
