Another suicide bomber attack in Iraq targets the Interior Ministry.
At least seven people were killed today following Barack Obama’s politically-motivated withdrawal of US troops.
Sky News reported:
At least seven people have been killed and dozens injured in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, following a suicide car bomb attack on the interior ministry.
The blast occurred when the bomber drove his vehicle into a security cordon outside the ministry, detonating an explosion, police said.
“When I went outside I found my colleagues, some of them were killed, others were on the ground, many cars were burned, the policeman on the watchtower looked like he was killed when he was hit in the head,” police guard Zaid Raheem said.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense should know that the troops are still in Iraq.. Their designation has been changed to noncombat.. In addition their are tens and tens of thousands of mercenary private contractor troops costing the American taxpayers 100,000 dollars + each per year. This is a huge waste of resources and life. Anyone who thinks Ron Paul is a viable candidate should have to explain how his isolationist idiocy would result in any different outcome than what Chamberlain’s “Peace in our time” insanity got us vis a vis Hitler. The withdrawal of US combat forces from Iraq was neither Obama’s plan nor was it political. Rather, it was the result of 8 months of negotiations between the Bush Administration and the Maliki government; the agreement is categorical and unconditional.
The US-Iraq Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), agreement signed on November 27, 2008 states unequivocally that “All United States combat forces shall withdraw from Iraqi cities, villages, and localities no later than the time at which Iraqi Security Forces assume full responsibility for security in an Iraqi province, provided that such withdrawal is completed no later than June 30, 2009,” (Art. 24.2). Obama met this deadline, although he had promised the electorate that all US combat troops would be withdrawn from Iraq by June 30, 2009, but reneged on that campaign promise and kept to the whole Bush era SOFA agreement.
Further, SOFA stipulated that “All the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory no later than December 31, 2011” (Art. 24.1). The Obama administration met the deadline by removing troops by Dec 16, 2010, within full accord of the Bush era SOFA agreement.
Obama did nothing more than follow an established withdrawal agreement negotiated by the administration of George Bush. Obama had nothing to do with any of the events pertaining to the US withdrawal from Iraq; it was going to happen no matter who was in the Oval Office. Obama, as a non-entity in the affair, deserves neither credit nor blame.
And since the withdrawal was going to happen in any event, we have all been saying that as soon as US forces pull out, the barbarians will strike, all they needed to do was wait. They waited, we left and now the barbarian Muslims are doing what barbarian Muslims do. No big surprise there.

Are you serious “Gateway Pundit?” I do not like O-bomb-a at all but it wasn’t Obama that signed the SOFA (Status Of Forces Agreement) detailing the withdrawal. Bush signed it right before he got left office.
Iraq’s cabinet approved the agreement in November 2008, and it was fully signed by Bush in December of 2008. 2011, as per the agreement, was the fixed deadline signed by both countries.
You do not help your cause by posting lies.

Are you saying the President GW Bush did not sign the SOFA in December 2008? Are you claiming that the SOFA, as approved by the Iraqi cabinet and the Americans didn’t say that 2011 was the dead line? Because if you are claim that the statements I’ve made are wrong it is you that is a liar.
