“60 Minutes” Edits Out Obama Claiming He’s the 4th Best President in History (Video)

You have got to be kidding…
After destroying the American economy, tripling the national deficit, blowing a trillion dollars on a failed stimulus plan and nearly doubling the unemployment rate, Barack Obama told “60 Minutes” last week that he considered himself the 4th best president in US history.
Unbelievable.

But there’s more— “60 Minutes” edited the arrogant comment out of their show.
The AP reported, via Free Republic:
President Barack Obama sat for an extensive interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” last week, though it appears the portion of the interview actually broadcast on TV left out a statement where Obama essentially declared himself the fourth best president in terms of his accomplishments.
The statement was only made available online as part of the full interview on “60 Minutes Overtime.”
According to a transcript posted on the “60 Minutes” website, Obama said he would hold his accomplishments so far as president against those of Lyndon B. Johnson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
“I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln — just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history,”
Of course, Obama forgot to mention Reagan.
Maybe because Reagan created 1.1 million jobs his third September in office and Obama created 103,000 jobs his third September in office.

CBS was announcing that there was going to be an historic Obama appearance last Sunday morning. Later in the day, they had downgraded their announcement to ‘was going to appear’.
I wonder if that was after they decided to edit this part out?

Read the quote again – he did not say he was the fourth best President. He said the accomplishments legislatively and foreign policy in the first two years compare significantly of what was done with any President other than possibly three.
