OCCUPY PROTESTERS ATTACK POLICE After Man Shot Dead at Protest Camp (Video)

Occupy Burlington protesters attacked police tonight after a protester was shot dead at their squatters camp.
The police were trying to clear the park after the shooting.
The Burlington Free Press reported:
Occupiers have clashed with police in City Hall Park this evening after police tried to close down the encampment following a fatal shooting.
Mayor Bob Kiss talked police into releasing a detained woman. The situation intensified after a meeting between occupiers and police at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
Police said rules for the encampment may change and that police would need to take control of the park for at least 24 hours to investigate the death.

Let’s see if these squatter like the Vt winter while living in a tent. The high temp for that area of vermont will probably not get over 30 degree for January or February. It is a very very cold place. They routinely have single degree days and go below zero too. Tent’s don’t help much when it’s -5 F out.

one spring/summer the city i lived in decided to let the homeless set up tents. the place became a pit and moving them out was a battle. their complaint was naturally homelessness
but as apartments were found they were rejected because the people wouldn’t move unless they were given subsidized apartments. no good turn ever goes unpunished.

The Burlington Free Press is reporting that there were THREE OTHER PEOPLE in the tent when the dead Occupier was shot. THREE OTHER PEOPLE IN A 6X9 FOOT TENT.
They were the ones who claim it was a suicide. So far, there is no suicide note, or evidence of suicidal behavior.
