Covering for Obama–
The Associated Press covered the fatal shootings at two different Obama-endorsed Occupy camps last night. They reported that the shootings were not linked to the movements.
Police are investigating a fatal shooting just outside the Occupy Oakland encampment that protesters say was unrelated to the movement. Meanwhile police say a 35-year-old veteran fatally shot himself at an Occupy Wall Street encampment in Burlington, Vermont.
So far there have been 6 deaths, including one murder and at least one overdose, at the Occupy camps.

And rapes and sexual assaults too.

Camper Madea Williams said the shooting victim was her cousin, whom she identified only as Alex, and that he had shared a tent with her in the camp.

People are dying and the MSM is covering for them.
ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN should be shouting from the rooftops how dangerous these camps are. But they don’t because they feel an affinity to them.
Don’t they think the parents of a lot of these kids attending have a right to know?

They tried to lie about it being a person, claiming the corpse was a practice dummie for CPR training. BIG lies are a hallmark of cult brain washing, mind control and group think. At least the AP is reporting that He’s dead Jim… http://youtu.be/r0yXqU-w9U0

Just about every nefarious activity known to man has taken place at those freak gatherings more commonly referred to as OWS. This is the Freak In Chief’s base and the AP is his biggest campaign contributor.

Wasn’t the press rather busy trying to cover for Barnacle Bill Clinton’s Paula Jones charges along about then?

Sure, the shooter and victim were both OWS, they fought over some drugs, and one of them shot the other in the back as he ran out of the favela. He made it our before being killed, so it’s totally not related to Quan’s commie camp.

That’s progress, but we need to thin the herd at a much faster rate…
Voice of Reason commented:
Here in the Bay Area, the local bias news did report that death was unrelated to OO and that crowd actually helped shooter escape in that it made it easier to blend in. Other related news was the Oakland Mayer Quan is telling the squatters to leave on their own or the city has a plan to remove them peacefully but did not elaborate. Local biz in pissed as well as the Chamber of Commerce and police. They know the current situation can not remain. At the same time, OO people know this and seem to want a confrontation. The news people seem to be putting lipstick on a pig. Furthermore, the metaphor about the Camel’s Nose is appropriate as well.

#13 — Don’t worry. If they don’t kill each other first, diseases like “Zuccotti Lung” will get them:
“With wintry weather poised to swoop into the cramped outdoor quarters of Occupy Wall Street protesters, it may not be long before more campers catch what’s being called “Zuccotti lung.”
“That’s what demonstrators have dubbed the sickness that seems to be spreading among them at an unpleasantly high rate these days: “It’s a real thing,” Willie Carey, 28, told the New York Times.

Indeed. “Looks like you cut your lip, baby. You should put some ice on that.”
But Cain distributing this joke once in the office:
Why are men and women like computers?
To get a man’s attention you have to turn it on, and a women will store all your mistakes in long-term memory for later retrieval.
THAT”S IT! That was one of the “offenses” that made his accuser “uncomfortable”. And remember, in the 1990′s, telling a joke with the word “woman” in it, well, that’s Sexual Harassment, and grounds for legal action!
Frank-Dodd Waitress Sandwich comes to mind. As do many other double-standards, like when Hilary faked a “black” accent whilst politicking in a “black church”. Like when Hilary made (what would be considered, for a Republican) a racist joke about Pakistanis working at gas stations.
Carrie Fisher — Princess Leia of Star Wars fame — in her new memoir:
(h/t Lee Rodgers, http://radiorodgers.com, a MUST-READ daily, IMO. He’s like the internet Paul Harvey. Don’t read him unless you also read the news — there are no links, just a daily ramble.)
She was on a date in 1985 with former Sen. Chris Dodd in Washington, D.C. The two were joined for dinner by the late Kennedy, who proceeded to ask some rather frank questions. Like, “Do you think you’ll be having sex with Chris at the end of your date?’”
Fisher, being the actress she was, responded, “Funnily enough, I won’t be having sex with Chris tonight. … No, that probably won’t happen. … Thanks for asking, though.”
“’Would you have sex with Chris in a hot tub?’ Senator Kennedy asked me, ‘Perhaps as a way to say good night?”
“’I’m no good in water,’ I told him.”
Ol’ Teddy … a slimeball if ever there was one …
But Teddy, Dodd, the Clintons, and Frank? They get a pass on behavior which is far more egregious.
Cain tells a benign joke? He’s obviously UNFIT FOR HIRE!
The double standards are astounding to behold. In fact “double standards” as a phrase hardly does this phenomenon justice as a descriptor. It’s exponentially worse than that phrase implies.

But it does show just how easily she can be offended.
Patriot Act commented:
We hear this over and over. Anything bad that happens at the camps is not the fault of the protestors. It’s caused by some kind of interloper — homeless people, the deranged, criminals taking advantage of the situation, and so on.
And anything good that happens is credited to the protesters.
Wait … what good has happened? I’m drawing a blank here.

Re the SFGate story … Downtown Oakland is only unsafe where the lowlifes gather. Usually they don’t gather in sufficient quantities to be a threat beyond common urban background danger. There are parts of Downtown Oakland that have been flourishing, and some of them continue to flourish. However, the “This is Oakland” excuse for violence is infuriating. Arrestees from out of town (and out of state, even) have far outweighed the locals.
And I *will* call lowlifes the demonstrators who made trouble in a downtown Burger King when they weren’t given free food. Dogs (the human kind) are lying down in Frank Ogawa Plaza, and they’re rising with fleas … except this one who didn’t rise at all.
I’m only surprised it took this long for there to be a killing. And, from the video I saw on local broadcast news, it took place in Frank Ogawa Plaza, which just happens to be one of the two Occupy Oakland camps. Just because it happened on the sidewalk and not between tents doesn’t make it unrelated.
