3 #Occupy DC Goons Hit By Car After They Block Intersection Near AFP Convention – Driver Not Charged (Video)

Three Occupy DC protesters were hit by a car near the Americans for Prosperity Conference after they blocked traffic. The driver of the car was not charged.

The protesters surrounded the car and screamed shame on you after the far left loons were hit in the street.
My FOX reported:
District of Columbia police said early Saturday that a driver will not be charged for striking three people taking part in an Occupy DC protest in downtown Washington.
Lt. Christopher Micciche of the D.C. police said the driver was not cited because he had a green light when his vehicle struck the three on Friday night. He said witnesses told police that the three pedestrians “either ran toward or jumped in front of the moving vehicle.” He said one pedestrian jumped on the hood of the car. One of them was cited for being in the roadway.
“The protesters were apparently trying to block the roadway,” Micciche said. “It was essentially an accident where three individuals were injured but they were in violation by being in the roadway.” D.C. fire department spokesman Lon Walls said Saturday morning that the three were transported to two area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hundreds of protesters affiliated with Occupy DC shut down streets Friday near the city’s convention center in downtown, where a conservative group was gathering. The male driver of the vehicle was traveling southbound on 7th Street NW at K Street NW when the accident occurred at about 10 p.m. The names of the driver and protesters were not immediately available.

We live near Oakland. I have told my wife and daughters to hit the gas or go in reverse if they find themselves being pinned in. Deal with the police later but don’t count on anyone if you feel threatened

When a mob surrounds a car, pounds on it, jumps on it are all violent acts that puts the driver in fear for his or her lives. they have a right to try and get away , or defend themselves even with the auto they are driving

If someone jumps in front of my car to try to stop me, pounds on the windows or hood and screams threats at me, whatever happens to them is their own fault. I will do whatever I have to to get away, and if that entails running over one of them, it’s unfortunate. But I will not sacrifice my health and safety because some loon wants to make a political point.
The driver was absolutely correct. These people were a threat to him. He did the right thing.

Forty years ago, and a bit, I was in Valley Forge Army Hospital–non combat problem–during the Mayday Mobe when the hippies tried to shut down DC, and levitate the Pentagon. We got pretty good network feed in the ward, along with local feed, being near Philly which is not so far from DC.
Crippled grunts were rooting for the cops when the hippies tried to stop traffic, open your hood (before the days of internal hood locks) and jerk your spark plug wires. The cops got a bunch of them rounded up into a stadium as a temp holding area. One grunt said, “bring a gunship in on their ass”.
I wonder if this generation’s morons think they’re doing any better in the PR department than their forefathers.

They have threatened to do this in a number of places. We need a lot more people willing to do whatever it takes to protect themselves and their property from the union/mob goons who are behind this movement.

I was sitting at a stoplight yesterday, minding my own business, waiting on it to turn green.
A carload of young, loud protesters, shouting anti-American slogans, stopped next to me.
The light changed, the protesters shook their fists, hit the gas & darted off ahead of me.
Suddenly an 18-wheeler came speeding thru the intersection & ran directly over their car, crushing it completely.
For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself, “Man, that could have been me!”
So, today, bright & early, I went out & got a job as a truck driver.
