The former Obama Green czar led a crazy chant at Occupy Wall Street this weekend.
“We’re here to give everything from the people from whom you stole everything.”
Huh?
That really was an awful chant. He needs to work some on his grammar.
Of course, the young leftists in the crowd lapped it up like it was something deep and brilliant.

I dated a lawyer once upon a time and was nagged at until I went to an est training weekend. It was just a communications thing, not the complete brainwash. Me and another guy were the only 2 out of the crowd who wouldn’t cooperate. It was deeply disturbing and I had bad dreams about it for weeks. That’s true.

That alleged scholars like Piven suffer apparent profound distortion and moral disconnect from the doctrinal phenomenon of nearly 200 million murders effecting progressivism on behalf of the greater good, should not good people of conscience of healthy mind and body not also see the dangers of systematically inculcated mass psychoses and collective psychotic conditioning in preparation of collectivized political violence against private property and individual liberty?

Like a cornered rat, they may have an advantage we have yet to see. To underestimate and trivialize what is happening here is to deny the last 150 years of history and the very nature of disordered man’s murderous history.
Our national way of living builds liberty, creativity, wealth, industry, technology, weapons and wins wars with great nations. Their way of living builds hatred, personal abandonment, collective psychoses, mass murder and mortacracy on scale that led the resulting governments to murder more of their citizens that were killed by war and government combined during the prior 10 centuries.
This is about far more than meets the eye. From the 1st Socialist International to the collapse of the Euro and the imminent bankruptcy of Greece; from Wilsonian conceit to William Ayers the end of an era hangs in the balance.
The open question is “Whose era is being ended.”

It’s a crazy thought at first blush. The tea party’s refusal to compromise drove the nation to the edge of the abyss during the debt ceiling crisis, and makes any bipartisan deal on the issue impossible. It’s members seem to think they have a lock on the truth, and that those who disagree with them are the enemy. It is a dangerous way to run a democracy.
Liberals should not answer that stubbornness with some of their own. If that’s what Jones means, he’d be making a mistake. In a republic full of checks and balances on power, either side can gum up the works. If both sides consider compromise to be treason, we have a recipe for national decline.
