Donald Trump on #OWS: “This Is Class Warfare, and Is Probably the Only Way Obama Thinks He Can Get Elected Because He’s Done a Lousy Job” (Video)

Donald Trump discussed the Occupy Wall Street movement today on FOX and Friends.
“This is class warfare, and this is probably the only way that he thinks he can get elected because he’s done a lousy job as president.”

The Politico reported:

The Obama administration has allowed the Occupy Wall Street protests go on for too long, Donald Trump suggested on Monday.

“I do think that government maybe is letting this go a little bit too far,” Trump said on Fox News Monday morning. “People are having a great time. They’re all going down, they’re having a great time.”
Responding to a video clip of protesters using violent language to express their frustrations, Trump said that the demonstrators are “doing no service to what they’re representing.”

Trump conceded that the growing number of protestors indicates a need for change, but insisted that President Barack Obama isn’t up to the task.

“Change has to be made, [but] not Obama’s kind of change. Real change. Obama’s kind of change was just words – everything about him is words. It’s all nonsense,” Trump said.

The real estate mogul blamed Obama’s rhetoric for sparking the ongoing protests that began in Manhattan and spread across the country, and suggested that the “Occupiers” should focus on Washington D.C., instead, where protesters have already started to gather by the hundreds in the past few weeks.

“I think the protesters should be down at the White House protesting because he’s doing a terrible job on the economy,” Trump said about Obama. “He’s doing a terrible job on jobs. And he knows nothing about — this guy has never done a deal in his life, except for his house, which wasn’t a very appropriate deal.”

He added, “This is class warfare, and this is probably the only way that he thinks he can get elected because he’s done a lousy job as president.”

(AP) MILLERS CREEK, N.C. — Authorities say a bomb squad disposed of a gasoline can at an intersection where President Barack Obama’s motorcade passed in northwest North Carolina.

WXII-TV reports (http://bit.ly/oJSQZW ) that Wilkes County sheriff’s deputies said officers noticed the can on Monday and were told that it had been there for several days.

The discovery prompted a call to the Winston-Salem bomb squad. It disposed of the can filled with gasoline that posed little danger.

Deputies weren’t immediately available for further comment.

Obama spoke to a crowd at West Wilkes High School as part of his tour through North Carolina and Virginia to promote his jobs bill. The gasoline can was found about a mile from the school.

I am in no way sympathetic to class warfare. I am NOT behind the OWS movement. That said, I think people in this country should look beyond the surface and realize that much of what is going on in America today has been precipitated by the abhorrent conduct of the wealthy in many cases and their propensity to look down their noses at those of lesser means.

I work with both my hands and my brains. I work for a number of wealthy people. Honestly, most of them are miserable, disrespectful and discourteous people. They look down their noses at those who have less than them and I believe this is one significant cause of the kids who say they want socialism.

The truth is these kids have no idea how bad things would be under socialism. Right now, however, they are getting real tired of the Leona Helmsey syndrome, whereby wealthy people treat people of low means as though they were little more then human garbage.

It’s the same thing that happens in many lawsuits. When people become arrogant and self absorbed, they have the propensity to treat others with disrespect. Many lawsuits are precipitated by people who just pushed other people too far. The same thing is happening with this OWS movement. These kids, dumb as they are, are picking up on a conduct problem more than a problem with our economic system. If the wealthy people of this nation don’t start to humble up a bit, this problem is going to get worse, and the ignorant socialists are going to capitalize on it.
