Boston Police Website Hacked by Obama-Endorsed “Occupy Boston” Criminals

The Obama-endorsed Occupy Boston protesters hacked into the Boston Police Department website and posted more than 2,000 names and passwords online.

WHDH reported, via Ace of Spades:

A Boston Police Department website was hacked. At least 2,000 names and passwords have been posted online.

The group claiming responsibility said they support the Occupy Boston movement.

Boston Police are warning some of their members that usernames and passwords were compromised.

The investigation into who hacked the system was widening and the F.B.I. was brought in to assist.

Police believe the radical element that calls themselves’ “Anonymous” has hacked into their system along with others across the country.

“Our internal computer system has been breached and I believe compromised,” said Tom Nee, President of the B.P.P.A.

The Boston Police Patrolman’s Association urgently told members to change their passwords after the rebel group posted their names and passwords online.

The group claimed they took aim at the Boston Police for their unprovoked brutality.

In a statement “Anonymous” said, “…future acts of aggression against our movements will be met with a vengeance…”

I am sick and tired of hearing about these miscreants. They have already recieved far more media attention in 5 weeks that the TEA party has in two and a half years. Thread after thread of OWS, enough is enough. Just tell me when their tents are burned and the bums are in prison.

There is a very big problem brewing. I just can help but believe that some of the elements involved and the Anonymous person, with others like him haven’t hacked into more than Police stations.

This person or persons is intelligent in computers and FBI should be called in and I hope that this doesn’t turn even more violent but I have a feeling some innocent people will get hurt.

There are most certainly very creepy characters in the so called 99%. But more importantly some very intelligent who could be using their brain for good things but choose to literally take down our infrastructure one police dept. or bigger at a time.

Every computer has a name, and every time it contacts another computer, it talks. And, it leaves footprints. Why is it that government sites have such incompetent admins…??? Apparently the acronym “DMZ” in not in their lexicon. No criminal/sensitive cop data should EVER be directly accessable from the outside world – EVER!

I realize there are constant security holes being discovered, but this sort of stupidity and incompetence is mind boggling. Yet… it is endemic. There are thousands of honest citizens with the skills and the ability to obtain a security clearance who could work as ‘dollar a year’ consultants to secure this sort of data but apparently the bureaucratic mind is incapable of dealing with such a strange concept.

By actually, factually disrupting police departments all over the country and forcing them to use precious and scarce resources to deal with the Occupy Protests they are actually, right now, preventing officers from being able to respond quickly to Murder, Rape and Burglary. The nutjobs have taken to the streets, but where are all the good, decent people who should have taken to the streets over two years ago and insisted Obama provide a valid long-form birth certificate. Time is running out. Let’s hope the U.S. military come home and aren’t sent to another war for Obama and his plans to turn the Middle East into a Sharia-enforced zone run by the Muslim Brotherhood.

At Boston Police headquarters they said their website had not been breached but they encouraged all members to change their passwords.

The Boston police’s UNION web site was hacked.

This is not a successful hack of a government website.

My point being the FBI can track the one on the computer but every one there are two more waiting to do great damage. Just trying to stay one step ahead is a task.
