America-bashing socialist Susan Sarandon stopped by to visit the Wall Street protesters today. She was supporting the young communists in their efforts to overthrow the system.
Then she drove to the airport and flew to Italy.

The Daily News reported:

A week-old Wall St. protest got a little star power Tuesday in the form of activist actress Susan Sarandon.

“I’m just here to be educated,” the “Bull Durham” star said as some of the young demonstrators in the crowd asked each other, “Who is she?”

Sarandon, 64, stopped by the Occupy Wall Street encampment in Zuccotti Park on her way to catch a flight to Italy.

The protesters peppered her with questions about climate change, consumerism and the economy.

  1. The radicals of Commywood can’t hold back to visit their “Comrades” in New York City.

First, Michael Moore, now Susan Sarandon, who will be next?

    2 to 1 Sean Penn
    3 to 1 Rosie O’Donnell
    3 to 2 Danny Glover
    3 to 2 Oliver Stone
    4 to 1 Lauren Dern
    5 to 1 Robert Redford
    5 to 2 Kevin Spacey
    7 to 1 Morgan Freeman
    10 to 1 Matt Damon

The betting window is now open.

  2. >> “I’m just here to be educated,” the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” “slut” said

    Fixed.

  3. I don’t want to offend anybody here, but I beleive you’ve got the goal of this protest all wrong.

Nobody is trying to change the capitalist system into socialism. The protesters are from all side of the spectrum.

Their GOAL: Stop the corruption on Wall Street, in other words, stop the “Crony” capitalism. And I do agree with them. Crony capitalism is not capitalism. Capitalism is about FREE MARKET. And in a FREE MARKET society, you don’t get bailout money for your stupidity, corruption or bad luck. You failed, tough luck. No bailout for you. Try again!

  4. As an actress of yesteryear she is qualified to render authorative opinions on politics, science, or foreign policy without any related education or experience.

  5. The best thing she ever did was drive off a cliff with Geena Davis.

  6. I hate that milk commercial of hers.
With the gray sweater attempting to hide her expanding waistline.

  7. Watched it live and I was chatting to it on their OWS website. Told em she was wearing a $750 dress and to ask her for money

  8. “The protesters are from all side of the spectrum.”

Crap. There maybe be a few objecting to crony capitalism, but it’s patently obvious from the appearance, attitude and signs that these people are largely of the socialist/communist left. Anyone wishing to purify capitalism would feel profoundly out of place.

  9. #6,

    LOL!!

  10. Their GOAL: Stop the corruption on Wall Street, in other words, stop the “Crony” capitalism. And I do agree with them.

The corruption on Wall Street is facilitated by the corruption in Washington. Clean out the democrats, the dug in republicans, and obama and Wall Street will clean up.

If you find Michael Moore and Susan Sarandon in the same general area there are scum, commies, and anti-americans nearby.

We will probably not make it until the next election anyway. The politicians gave up their responsibilities a long time ago. Check this out: http://barnhardt.biz/

  11. She stopped by to visit the little people.

  12. Guess she is done playing ping ping and screwing 30 year olds. I also hate her milk commercial as she walks through the living room and picks up a skateboard or was it a soccer ball? Like she has young kids to pick up after, pluuuezze. She is what 65?

  13. “There maybe be a few objecting to crony capitalism, but it’s patently obvious from the appearance, attitude and signs that these people are largely of the socialist/communist ” left.whit seven (#9)

You may be right, by their looks they look like lefties. But, I saw many interviews from people on the right that said they were there.

So, if it is a majority of the left, than that is a different thing:

Wall Street steals Bailout money from taxpayers, and the left say…. WOE!… that’s our job. We want the money you stolen from taxpayers. So it is criminal LEFT, fighting with criminal Wall Street.

But, hey! It should have been a RIGHT wing protest… why aren’t you fighting the corruption of Wall Street?

    Hobbitually(#11), says :

“The corruption on Wall Street is facilitated by the corruption in Washington.”

I agree totally with this statement. Both Democrats and Republicans are Wall Street puppets. This is why you have to chose your next President on the base of his integrity.

Can he be bought? If yes… it’s a no no.

  14. The protesters peppered her with questions about climate change, consumerism and the economy.

‘Cause she’s such an expert on any of those subjects.

  15. Have they decided what their demands are yet?

O/T-Hey Diane Valencen, I’ve yet to hear your reply regarding the Start II treaty. Has the Russian Duma ratified it, yet? Why was it so important to pass it through the Senate if Russia was going to sit on it indefinitely? Was zero bamboozled?
Forget the last question. It was rhetorical, and I’m sure you’re aquainted with rhetorical questions.

  16. 64? And the rest.

  17. Craig really? I have been watching every day and the early chants of “F*** the police” subsided only after a day of tear gas. The comments are routinely about the Koch Bros, end capitalism, teabaggers, Venus Project, HAARP, chem trails, etc……very little about Wall St.

What really bothered me though were the leaders with the video feed making fun of the workers waking by to go to their office.

    Brats

  18. #17: AS if she understands the chemistry of carbon. Hey, Susan! How DOES that CO2 dissolve in sea water?

  19. “What really bothered me though were the leaders with the video feed making fun of the workers walking by to go to their office.” and the people heading off to work are the same people these slugs expect to bail them out when the consequences of bad behavior catch up to them.

  20. Scene: A couple dozen tie-dyed protesters reeking of body odor and sporting Rastafarian hairstyles.
A very expensive limousine drives slowly through the crowd. Curious, the protesters walk over. The blackened passenger window of the limousine opens a few inches and cautiously, a white-gloved, well-perfumed hand reaches out. In the hand is clutched a dollar bill. From inside the vehicle, a voice shouts something about ‘Capitalist pigs’ and ‘Che Guevera’ and to ‘fight the good fight’. Only those closest to the limousine can hear even those words, the window simply isn’t down far enough and the speaker or speakers cannot be seen.
The hand lets go of the dollar which softly floats to the ground to lay at the feet of one bewildered protester. With the engine roaring, the limousine races away.
Susan Sarandon has done her part.

  21. Susan,

    stay in Italy please.

  22. I admire her face lift.

  23. How many of those corrupt Wall Streeters are in fact managing Suzy’s money, making sure the dough she’s accumulated throughout her career sees her through her geezerhood and that she can afford to take trips to Eetaly?

But it is funny to read many of these young street ruffians don’t even know who she is.

  24. I wonder how many of those trust fund protestors would have to find a real job if they DID succeed in closing down Wall Street.

  25. When I see some “Ron Paul” signs at the protest, then I’ll take it seriously.
