Hallelujah!… NPR Compares Obama to the Christ

NPR is now comparing President Downgrade to Jesus.
NPR reported, via FOX Nation:
The realities of governing as opposed to the unrealities of presidential campaigns may have made President Obama a much more human figure compared with the almost messiah-like status he had in the eyes of many supporters in 2008.
But that doesn’t mean there still isn’t the occasional moment reminiscent of a Bible story.
At a rally on the campus of North Carolina State in Raleigh, N.C. Wednesday where President Obama went to drum up support for his jobs bill, this happened.
AUDIENCE MEMBER: I love you, Barack!
THE PRESIDENT: I love you back. (Applause.) But first — but if you love me — if you love me, you got to help me pass this bill. (Applause.) If you love me, you got to help me pass this bill.
Here’s John 21:15, the New International Version, describing a scene between Jesus and his disciples:
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,”Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
So that must mean this guy is John the Baptist, right?

Can someone launch an investigation as to how, and why, he adopts this totally fake and pandering Southern preacher accent? The man hasn’t been South of the Mason-Dixon but 5 times in his life and living on the southside of Chicago (especially where his mansion is) will not ever give you one. If you actually listen to the whole tape this was very obviously scripted. The guy had not even finished speaking before BO said “I love you too” and then transitioned into the “if you love me” crap.
He knew it was coming and when it was going to happen.

NPR’s old white hippies are remarkably disconnected from the real world. I can’t wait to discuss this with my kids I coach weekly at our high school for a competitive academic activity.
Last week, one of our younger kids called Obama a creeper. He’s like the pervert who keeps on watching your Facebook wall and intensely following your every moves, and then thinks he’s a BFF when he talks to you. “Please love me!” “If you love me, you gotta do something for me.”

NPR chose an interesting Bible section to make its point After Jesus was resurrected, Peter affirmed his love for Jesus 3 times but it was in response to Jesus asking Peter 3 times whether Peter really loved Him. Some believe the series of 3 questions was intended to remind Peter of his 3 denials of Christ prior to Christ being crucified. Thus, it’s possible Christ was actually reminding Peter of his human weakness and testing his love. If so, to compare Obama’s incident to this is not only blasphemous but denigrates Obama’s followers as profoundly weak.
