His handlers know that they have to make Comrade Obama scarce while they cobble together, I mean, put the finishing touches, on the part of the comprehensive jobs policy that Obama is going to lay out to his audience of Democrat lapdogs and lickspittles in this country, and his admiring followers in Moscow Center and Beijing. The Republicans in Congress will be forced to sit through it and act politely. Some of us will watch for the entertainment value of watching the Man Who Would Be Dictator make a complete fool of himself, and once again embarrass the country and frighten the markets. The rest of the country will be tuned out. He needs to rest up, because when they get the teleprompter loaded up, he’s got a lot of rehearsing to do. It’s tough delivering a speech written by others, especially when it is loaded up with phony numbers supporting phony problems. The one about 34,000 asthma attacks really gets me. They must think that we are a bunch of middle school kids. I forgot, that’s what the Dem base is. That and a lot of high priced rent seekers.

This poseur’s conduct is reprehensible to both the unemployed and employed. Those of us left with jobs in the private sector are working our asses off to stay employed. My last weekend was spent traveling to Asia, departing Saturday so I could be there Monday morning sharp. I just returned, have a Saturday already spent and faced with getting two weekends of personal chores done over a half-weekend jetlagged. Monday’s holiday? Not for us who work with peers in Asia. Oh sure, it officially counts as a holiday on my paycheck, but many of us here know that rule.
Obama, the professional slacker, knows otherwise. I’m quite convinced that even on paid work days, there is little real work he does. Golf and parties with the celebrities, on the other hand…
Incidentally, is there a divorce or separation in the works with Michelle? We haven’t seen a date night in quite time and the predominance of independent travel cannot be ignored any longer. That and I heard rumors (overseas naturally since our media here is employed by the president’s party) that Michelle’s visit to visit her brother may have had some other visitation.

I was in line at the market and one of the tabloids (maybe The Enquirer) had a story that BO is in a funk and has been drinking.
It said the FLOTUS planned the last trip at Martha’s vineyard as a type of intervention. (The Enquirer broke the story about John Edwards and his girlfriend, so maybe there is something to the story.)
