This makes me sick.
Ron Paul again blames the US for the 9-11 Al-Qaeda massacre.
The Des Moines Register reported, via Free Republic:
Two weeks away from the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul says that U.S. intervention in the Middle East is a main motivation behind terrorist hostilities toward America, and that Islam is not a threat to the nation.
At a campaign stop on Saturday in Winterset, one man asked Paul how terrorist groups would react if the U.S. removed its military presence in Middle Eastern nations, a move the candidate advocates.
“Which enemy are you worried that will attack our national security?” Paul asked.
“If you’re looking for specifics, I’m talking about Islam. Radical Islam,” the man answered.
“I don’t see Islam as our enemy,” Paul said. “I see that motivation is occupation and those who hate us and would like to kill us, they are motivated by our invasion of their land, the support of their dictators that they hate.”
Regarding 9/11, Paul said that attacks against the U.S. from Middle Eastern groups at home and abroad can be traced to the foreign presence of U.S. troops, as well as America’s relationships with dictator regimes.
Let Freedom Ring has more on Paul’s outrageous claims.

The overwhelming majority of ‘Muslim lands’ are nations which were taken by the sword, and whose populations were forced into conversion, dhimmitude, or massacred. If Ron Paul cannot recognize our enemy, he shouldn’t be in Congress.

We got it the last time…”They want kill us because we are over there.” Oh yeah, and the fiat money diatribe…Hey Ron, there is not enough gold in the world to back the dollars in circulation…There is no going back to the gold standard…

What’s moronic about understanding human motivation?
“I see that motivation is occupation and those who hate us and would like to kill us, they are motivated by our invasion of their land, the support of their dictators that they hate.”
-R. Paul
Why is this so hard to understand? If foreign armies occupied, oh say St. Louis, I wouldn’t be alone in joining the “insurgents”. Why, wouldn’t you like to kill those occupiers? Sure you would. And the reason would be to rid America of foreign invaders. In Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia WE(-Americans) are the foreign invaders.

Lets get ALL our troops out of every country , right now. RIGHT NOW.

There he can be tied to a chair, and he can get a lesson on Islamic aggression from Charles Martel to the Gates of Vienna. And when Paul is fully cognizant of the history of Islamic aggression, only then does Col. West untie him, as long as Paul promises to shut his mouth and never open it again.

It’s to bring you to your knees so you will give away your freedoms and rights for security. It’s all a scam. The world knows that 9/11 was an inside job.
But nonetheless, Ron Paul is still dead right. When you invade a country illegally and especially with no autorisation from Congress, you make ennemies, not friends. Just look at the war on Lybia, NATO is working hand in hand with Al Qaeda… how do you like this one? And how would you feel if China invaded your country? Wouldn’t you want revenge?
I’m sorry, but to think that what Ron Paul said is silly, just shows me how much you people can be inconsistents. Either that or you like wars just like the blood thursty globalist eugenist scumbags do. Besides all that, where will you take all the money to continue these numerous wars? Enemy being the USSR in Afghanistan the enemy being UBL so he became a friend to fight USSR. The enemy being AQ and the enemy being Mubarak, al-Assad and Qaddafi with Saddam in 80′s so they became our friends. This had to lead to some role in the creation of AQ and 911 but not to the extent Paul puts to it.

What Paul says is partially true. The Saudi request and allowance for American troops to be base out of Saudi Arabia to expel Iraqi troops from Kuwait was one of the key motivators, if not the main reason, for the recently departed Osama Bin Laden to attack the US.

The fact that Dr. Paul cannot recognize this basic lesson from history indicates he is unfit to be Commander in Chief.
I agree with Dr. Paul on a lot of issues, but I cannot support a man who is so weak on foreign affairs and National Defense. He needs to recognize that we truly have real enemies out in the world who want to kill us, and his Isolationist posture will not help, but hurt us even more in the end….

I agree with Paul in part … our presence in the Middle East gives Radical Islamists an EXCUSE to hate and attack us. However, I seriously doubt that terrorism would come to an end, or Americans would be safe, if we weren’t there. If you objectively study the belief structures of radical Islam, it becomes pretty obvious that their philosophy and lifestyle is in complete opposition to ours. They’ve clearly stated their goals, and only a fool would think that turning our backs on them would put an end to the hostilities.

Before, I was just a warmonger like all of you here.
Craig commented:
I understand all of you, I used to be like you. But one day you will find the “missing link” to understand all that is going on right now in this world. They even brag on their books how they will do it. They are even ready with the Blue Beam Project, to put huge Hologramms of Aliens in the sky to scare the Sh…t out of you. If the War on Terror or the Global Warming scams don’t work, that is their next move.

While the radical Islamists hate America and Israel, and want to wipe us off the face of the earth, and that does make them our “enemies”, their ability to do is severely limited. Ron Paul is (I would bet) older than everyone else posting on this site, and has seen the history as a military and political insider for the last 40+ years.
I’d say, from his perspective he has seen the greater enemy that poses the biggest threat to America. It’s not a bunch of poor Arabs dressed in rags, living in mud huts and waving AK-47′s.

Of course, many of his dull supporters actually believe his rhetoric about spending, too, because they don’t realize he has been among the leading House Republicans in procuring pork projects and earmarks – in the top three for at least a decade now. Paul puts his pork in at the committee level and then, once the final bill is done and typically passes by a wide margin, he votes “No” and makes anti-spending speeches.
He doesn’t need to worry about being called a hypocrite, since he knows his followers won’t check.
Never mind his various little ways of lining his own pockets, which some might find troubling, or his long welcoming of supremacists and neo-nazi supporters (he finally stopped taking their money, Ron doesn’t like The Spotlight on his activities [that's a pun only Ron's diehard white supporters will get]) which should be troubling to all.

So can Paul explain WHY, after ~30 years of non-intervention in Iran by the US government, are the Iranians the biggest problem to the region? Is it possible Paul can see various flaws in the US government that he thinks do not exist in OTHER governments? Did Paul miss the Iranian proxy in Lebanon called Hezbollah? Did Paul not get the memo regarding Hamas? Is Paul looking at the Iranian/Syrian connections with clear eyes?
Sometimes people spend so much time looking for faults in their own government they forget to look at what foreign governments are doing.

Also: “It’s All Good™” doesn’t work here. It’s not actually All Good. And we’re not going to pretend that it is by refusing to study and engage, all in the interest of “Being Nice To The Poor Man.”
I don’t see anyone here stating “Ron Paul Is a C.nt!” Nobody here is claiming that Ron Paul’s kids are not really his.

@ Craig. In 1995, our Philippine National Police raided a small hotel in Manila in response to an intelligence report that the late Pope John Paul II would be assassinated. In the course thereof, they were able to discover and subsequently confiscated many materials used for bombings and some reading materials, one of which was a pamphlet or book ( i don’t exactly recall) wherein drawings of buildings with planes hitting them. Our Philippine police officials learned that there were plans of hijacking planes for them to use to hit tall buildings. This was then termed by these muslim terrorists as Operation Boljinka. Have you heard of that? Anyway, these police officials of ours sent a confidential report to then President Bill Clinton. Apparently, your president did not take us seriously. Philippine officials were disgusted with Clinton for just shrugging his shoulders off. There were even innuendos that Clinton just laughed us off because we were just brown-skinned Filipinos. How dare us and we are just bunch of 3rd world citizens. Six years later, 911 happened. Remember Ramsey Yousef, et al.
By the way, I live here in Davao City, Philippines. Our island is Mindanao. Not American. I am Filipina.

Real class, calling Dr. Paul an idiot in your headline. Maybe you should take an hour to read our Constitution…?
I like a lot of your articles, but you really should reconsider your UNWAVERING support for Israel, and the problems that nation CREATES in the region, instead of calling critics of our absurd, ‘pro-Israel-at-any-cost’ policies childish names..?
Andreas K. commented:
So when the mohammedans invaded Spain and Portugal (leading to a Reconquista that lasted 800 years until the last mohammedans were driven out again), they did that because they foresaw the American occupation of Iraq?
When they invaded Christian Syria and Palestine, they did it because they could foretell the American aid to certain dictators?
When they assaulted Europe over and over again, butchering and elsnaving infidels in the tens of thousands they did that because they knew one day America will be evil towards the mohammedans?
Yeah, makes perfect sense to me.
Seriously, it would, if I had significant braindamage.
Andreas K. commented:
Craig Bodeker, where in the Constitution does it say that we can’t call an idiot “idiot”?
As for Israel creating problems. Hey, you infidel pig, ever read the koran? “Kill the infidels where you find them” is written in the koran. it’s an order every mohammedan must follow. You’re looking for the root of the problem? Try islam. Islam has been at war with civilisation for 1,400 years. Islam led to the first genocides in the history of mankind, and was involved in the third (and is still involved in some.) The first was the mohammedan invasion of India, leading to up to 80 million dead Hindus. The second was the Otoman massacre on the Armenians. By the way, the Otomans tried the same with the Jews who lived there, but the Jews fought back. The third, that was Hitler’s little trip. The mohammedans were quick to help him, even formed an SS division that was infamous for its cruelty (which says a lot, considering the SS in general was hardly sweet and nice.) And today, shall I say Sudan? Somalia?
Wherever islam pops up it causes problems.
Maybe YOU should get some education first instead of spewing the typical islamo-nazi BS.
Evil Otto commented:
Yeah, way to prove the point, Craig.
Let’s see…
1) Implying that opponents haven’t read the Constitution, as if that has anything at all to do with whether or not Paul is an idiot. Was there some amendment we weren’t aware of that said “Ron Paul is not an idiot?” Or perhaps Ron Paul is the one true disciple of the Constitution, and to question him (sorry, I meant to capitalize that… we’re dealing with a religious figure here) Him is to question the Constitution.
2) And of, course, ranting about Israel. Wouldn’t be a Paulbot comment without a lecture about Israel, even though the article in question never mentions it.
By the way, cultist, the problem “that nation CREATES in the region” is that it exists, and the Muslims don’t want it to exist anymore. I get the impression that you and your fellow True Believers would also be perfectly happy if it ceased to exist. And, hey, if a few seventh-century religious fanatics want to murder millions of people because they exist , who are we to object, right?
Yeah, keep up this winning strategy. Ron Paul’s victory in 2012 is assured… even though you kooks will manage to piss off everyone who might vote for him aside from the tinfoil hat crowd. And, y’know, there thankfully aren’t that many of you.

Craig, what’s your logic here?
Paul got the most military donations, Obama got the second most.
What is your point about the military then? That they know who the true conservative is? That they know what’s best for foreign policy? That doesn’t make sense.
Most of their money went to Ron Paul and Obama. I’d say there’s nothing to conclude there.
Or are you saying that Ron Paul is almost like Obama in the eyes of the military?

All presidential candidates are targets of mockery, insult, and disagreement, and your chosen candidate doesn’t get a free pass. You’d best toughen up, because if you can’t handle what we’re saying about Paul you’re going to be overwhelmed by what the Democrats say about him in the extremely unlikely event he wins the nomination. And if that time comes, ranting about Israel, bullsh!t 9/11 conspiracy theories, and whiny butthurt won’t save you.

What I don’t agree with him on his that this is the only reason. It’s not. There are many good Muslims in the world that just want to live their lives peacefully, but to the radical Muslims they’re as bad as the infidels.

EvilOtto, You obviously only think YOU deserve freedom…
Oh, obviously. Since it’s obvious, how about you quote where I’ve said that? I’ll wait.
Now, you have said you want to deny me the vote, based on the fact that I don’t support Ron Paul. Defend your position, if you can. And you can’t, so instead you’re trying to distract.
I believe freedom is for the world. How about Iran tells you that you cant have a effin gun??
So, that’s your best shot? Nukes are not guns. I am not a country. I have not threatened to KILL anyone with my guns. They have threatened to use nukes. Hey, what’s the worst that can happen if a bunch of medieval religious fanatics leading a country that believes in suicide bombing get ahold of weapons that can reduce whole cities to ash? They’re rational, reasonable individuals who would NEVER do anything crazy, despite saying that’s exactly what they’d do… right, kook?
Who the eff are they….BTW, who the eff are you??
I’m someone who isn’t crazy, which is different from both the leadership of Iran and you.
Stop being a hypocrit…whats good for you is good for anyone!
Um, your normal crazy stream-of-consciousness ranting is hard enough to follow, but honestly, what the hell are you talking about?
They are people..If they eff with us, we will deal with the accordingly….
Really? A nuke goes off in an American port… how would President Paul react? Who would he target? How would he respond? Tell me, stoner.
We have ships too…we will blow the mfers outta the water.
(sigh) You really don’t understand TERRORISM, do you? They’re not going to tell anyone they’re sending a nuke ship over in a ship, kook. Do you have any clue how many shipping containers come into this country every single day? What are you planning to do, blow every ship out of the water that approaches American shores?
This is why I mention common sense…..grow some balls,
Now, there’s a mature campaign strategy. Maybe you idiots can use that as your campaign slogan! “Ron Paul 2012: Grow some balls!” That’ll convince people your candidate is the correct one.
Time to try a new approach!!
Suicide may be a new approach, but it isn’t a good approach.
Now, mental patient, let me give you some advice:
1) You write like a stupid person. Learn how to spell, use proper grammar, and learn how to structure an argument.
2) “Grow some balls” isn’t an argument.
3) Behaving like a lunatic isn’t going to help your chosen candidate win the election.
4) Stop doing drugs. They’re obviously affecting what little is left of your mind.

Killing innocent women and children, popping up dictators with our money that their people hate and then, like the media puppets half of you are, cheer for the overthrow of Gaddafi while you blindly supported him before. The same goes for Saddam, Mubarak and coming soon to other nations if you fools don’t wake up.
Ron Paul does not blame anything except the FOREIGN POLICY for 9/11. Ok, its wasn’t you that caused the attacks you dolts, it was the policy. I’m not sure how clearly this can be explained.
Imagine you had a neighbor. You would always set fire to their car, murder their dog, take craps on their lawn, throw molotov cocktails through the windows of their sleeping baby. Then one day he walks over and slashes the tire on your car. Would your reaction be to act like a fool and start screaming “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?!?” “WHY DO YOU HATE ME!!!!???” or would you maybe think “hmm, maybe if I wasn’t doing all that stuff to my neighbor, they wouldn’t have attacked me.

Every time Paul runs we hear from you cultists how inevitable his ascension is, and nothing ever comes of it. Good God, pipewerkz, have you ever read anything about the history of Islam? You’re pretending like Muslims have been living, unaggressively at peace until the evil United States started oppressing them.
Why do they hate us? Simple. They hate because they need someone to hate. Anyone. Hate focuses the attention outward, away from one’s own problems. It gives a focus for blame at the miserable state of their lives… the other is to blame: the unbeliever. The United States. Israel. Anyone. It doesn’t matter who. Their corrupt and incompetent leaders feed on this. Our meddling in their affairs is an excuse for their atrocities, not the actual reason behind them. It’s like the whiny criminal who, after being caught, blames society. And here you are, mindlessly accepting what they say, because it fits your isolationist worldview.
And you? You hate us. Rather than try and find common ground with people who support a lot of Paul’s financial ideas but disagree strongly with his foreign policy ideas, you Paul supporters rant like crazy people at the first sign of opposition. I keep having to say this: this isn’t a winning strategy.

No. Perhaps my state accepted this, but I didn’t go get ‘relief’. I have a small child as well. We had no power for two weeks, and endured single digit temperatures. Guess what? Our family is fine and self sufficient. Takes a lot of grit to be an American. Go study the Revolutionary War if you don’t believe me. What gives us the right to meddle in the world’s business? I had this exact same thought after 9/11. God rest the souls of all the people that died. It makes me sick, and brings me to tears to think of all the good Americans that died. But what caused it? We think that we have to police the world. This is not sound foreign relations. If the shoe was on the other foot, how would you feel?

Last cycle, my old man (in his early 70s) supported Ron Paul. I sent him a few links, got him a bit more educated about Paul’s positions … like his playing footsies with the Truthers, Alex Jones, his prior statements about 9/11. That sort of thing.
And then I sent him threads like this filled with Ron Paul, um, supporters.
He – like a lot of us on the conservative side – still support some of Paul’s ideas. But he wants nothing – nothing – to do with Paul’s supporters. And he’ll be looking elsewhere this primary season.
Why?
Because you make your candidate look worse. Much, much worse. You’re just as bad – if not worse – than hard-core Leftists who refuse to listen to what people are telling you. But you don’t get that. And you never will.
But carry on. Just because you tell a monkey to stop flinging his own feces doesn’t mean he will.

Who wants a dime? It is silly to borrow a dime from an entity that has no dime. Ron Paul may have a few off-kilter ideas, but his rhetoric tends to make a whole lot of sense. There IS a system built in, it is called Checks and Balances. Not everything the man preaches would come true. Perhaps the common sense that he is promoting would pass. I have been watching comments on the internet for years. The average citizen WOULD like us to butt out of world affairs and take care of OUR citizens. Do we have to be caretaker of the entire world?

It was not easy to get me to register republican … but I did. Why?
To enable me to be able to finally support someone who I could enthusiastically vote FOR!
Ron Paul. Why would a lib/dem support this guy? Because the left – right political spectrum is really a circle. If you go far enough left you meet your friends on the right. Ron Paul is right … in either paradigm.
What the hell is wrong with following the Constitution? Everyone in Congress swears to do it and then nobody ever does … except Ron Paul! He’s about the only one that truly does. Legislators from either party who voted on before even reading “The Patriot Act”, which guts the Bill of Rights should be impeached for not following that oath … but no consequences exist.
The opposite occurs … Obama embraces it as well … why?
Unfortunately our formerly Democratic political system has deteriorated into an oligarchic one party system de facto. Two arms of the same Punch & Judy puppeteer. Money is all. An oligarchy of oil, Wall Street and big banking bucks backing both bastard parties. They own them both and both parties work for their benefit to extract as much wealth as they can from those classes below them.
Class warfare! They won! And continue to plunder. Why would they want change?
The military industrial complex that blows things up in very expensive manners … so that they can get the contract to rebuild them … does not care if the country goes bankrupt funding foreign wars where no threat to the USA exists. Unconstitutional, undeclared wars ever since Korea. But HEY .. there’s good money in it!
Ron Paul speaks the truth. We can’t afford it any more. We’re broke. Time to stop throwing fiat money away like it is worthless … ahh … it IS worthless! Ever since Nixon.
Ron Paul is NOT a gold standard fanatic, but he HAS come out with the idea that our currency should actually be worth something … what a concept! Could be cotton bales, could be oil, could be uranium or any other commodity having REAL value including gold bars or a “basket of commodities” … ahhh anybody remember why Fort Knox exists?
The “Fed” is the greatest ripoff of the wealth of the American people since the age of Andrew Jackson and his clashes with the bankers. Jackson beat them. Wilson lost. Kennedy tried and was killed. Bush II let them write their own deregulation legislation.
Obama punished not a single person for the unbelievable frauds that were perpetuated when they crashed the system with their greed, but you can’t jail your campaign contributors! Most especially before re-election time.
Special interest K Street lobbyists do not set up $10,000 per plate rubber chicken “dinners” for Ron Paul.
He takes NO MONEY from lobbyists. This ALONE separates him from ALL other candidates!
Check for yourself how his campaigns are funded. Hundreds of thousands of small donations from his supporters. More support from the military donations than all other candidates combined.
Could it be because he is the only candidate of either party that wants to end the unconstitutional wars started by lies?
As the ONLY anti war candidate … he stands a chance.
You will not agree with every stance he has, but you cannot question his character or his consistency. As probably the most savvy economic mind in Congress, who else you gonna call? When the economy is going to hell in a hurry.
You cannot trust the bought and paid for media. Neither FOX nor MSNBC. If you want the truth about the guy you must seek it out yourself as he represents such a challenge to the “powers that be” that they have already ignored him to the point of it being an issue.
Next they will demonize and distort.
Get the truth, judge for yourself.
Time to end the surveillance state of the Orwellian named “Patriot Act” as no other candidate has come out against it … except Ron Paul who voted against it in the first place!
Are you really against what he stands for? Liberty. Freedom. Sound money and an end to wars we can’t afford. The end of the theft of the private banking cartel known as the Fed?
Sure he may sound a little “old-timey” and preachy at times, but he is the modern day Cassandra. He speaks the truth, but nobody seems to listen.

The Constitution saw the need for a military, that is why it is there.
When it comes to economic responsibility, Paul is NO different than his colleagues. He uses what are called “earmarks”. He sticks all kinds of garbage in the budget knowing no one is going to remove them, and that budgets pass without anyone reading it. The federal spending in his district has quadrupled since 1999. Your little shot at the end holds no weight, saying that “I” hate us and I don’t spend time on his excellent economic ideas and background. In case you didn’t notice, this article is about foreign policy, not economics. If you want to talk economics, I would be glad to school you any day.
It’s sad that you are mindlessly agreeing with their empire building strategy and “they hate us cause we are free.” You attack with no actual examples and just ask me if I’ve ever read anything about Islam. Did you see the books I listed? Robert Pape has plenty to say on the matter. What about Michael Scheuer? You know, the former head of the CIA Bin Laden Unit. Seems he agrees with Ron Paul and anyone that has actually taken the time to listen to anyone except Rush Limbaugh.
It’s a shame, and pathetic that you don’t understand the difference between non-intervention and isolationism. Or maybe you do, you are just a propagandist.

Having Ron Paul as president would be a disaster. Yes he is on the right side of some economic issues, but that hardly makes up for how clueless and dangerous he is on so many other issues like Islam. He should be sitting in a rocker on the front porch sipping a lemonade and ranting about the fed to anyone who will listen. we need a leader not a cranky old man.

Maybe that’s why you switched back to screen name Craig.

Also, what illegal war? Don’t bring international law into this, international law is a joke. Also, what empire? I don’t think some people here know what an empire is. Also, how many people raving against the patriot act have actually read it (none, usually)?
Ron Paul is a moron. If he really thinks that America cause 9-11 he should be moved to a random islamo-fascist country and forced to live there as a dhimmi without rights for a year or two.

clinton wasnt weak he bomb the middle east all the time look up history. He killed 1 million of thier people and Ron Paul back in 1998 durring clintons impeachment trial said he agreed to impeach clinton but on the grounds of unconstitutional law and not monica lewinsky. Then Ron Paul went on to predict that if we kept doing this we were about to see the biggest terrorist attack in the history of our nation. Well he was right. We did side with the AQ in the 80′s to get rid of russian occupation in the middle east. Has one terrorist attack happened in russia since they left by the way? Just a question sorry guys history is on Ron Paul side on this one I must say. When we first went in to the middle east was in 1953. The cia created the shah in 1953. cite. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_the_Shah's_Men, we trained the AQ and gave them weapons but we couldnt use our own weapons so we sold them russia weapons. Its all in the history just look it up. Europe isnt getting attack because its closer Nato which Europe india and isreal is a part of is also fighting in this war. Look it all up its all true. Just need to read alittle bit and stop listening to the war machine propaganda. Oh did we find WMDA’s in Iraq? No. Did regan sell sadam wmdas in the 80′s to go to war with iran and sadam said no and used them on his own people making them incapable of fighting thier neighbor yes. Then we had a vested interest to go in to iraq cause alot of this stuff make us look pretty stupid to the world thats why Nato backs us but its mostly a USA problem because we cause these problems. AQ was never in iraq before but now that sadam is gone they are they were affraide of him. Gidaffi was the same way. Kept AQ at bay. Now that we change the regime there are AQ leading the reble forces look it up CNN did an article on it. Also the next place we want to go is syria then Iran does this ever stop how far do we have to entangle our selves at how much money and how much cost? If we go bank rupt we cant protect our self you guys understand that right? I think america needs to stop making trouble before it even exsist and stop making trouble and follow the constitution. Theres nothing fringe about wanting to follow the USA laws and not take our marching orders from nato. So maybe after the terror attack I could see going after afganistan but why Iraq lybia yeman Pakistan i guess is understandable too seeing Bin Laden was there but thats it but we got our man the AQ is disbanded why occupation? We need to save the money and focus on locking down the security risks here in America. If they were so worried about AQ attacking us here why dont we really lock down our borders with military? There must be no real risk. You have to remeber these people dont have an military no air force no army no navy they have to resort to using our own planes against us. And you know what the no fly list takes care of most of that. How come they gave amensty to poppy farmers in Afganistan when we know thats where AQ gets most of its money from in the herion trade. With out the consumer AQ makes no money so I dont think they dont like the people they just dont like the occupancy. Wake up America. This is just how it is or do you really think people attack our country because its free and thier jelous the establishment story just doesnt add up I always thought it was right but felt like something was missing for some reason. And I will tell you I did months and months of research from many different mediums the news stories google the library old news clipping books everything untill I found the only answer you can come up with after a ton of research and thats the TRUTH.

I find it very interesting that when people bash Ron Paul it’s all on their ‘feeling’ or what they read or hear in the media. It very rarely has substance or facts. Understanding history and how governments lie to take care of special interests would give you a better understanding why we are over thre in the first place. Why are we bombing all these countries? Besides the terrorist thing, which is a lie, tell me why? Are you going to be honest? Or continue the lie you’ve been told over and over again by the media and the person who wrote this article?
You can keep calling Ron crazy, you can keep denying what is really going on, you can keep spewing lies, you can keep voting for the same people, but than hasn’t worked for several decades now and I would think that you would want to change that.
Ron Paul has NEVER gone back on his word, never voted against the Constitution, never voted or approve war, has been telling the news about the economic collapse coming to this country for years and the media keeps blocking that information out, has returned all his pay back to the treasury every year, has never taken any money from any corporation, special interest group, or lobbyist, has never flip flopped on what he believes in and has never, ever, said he would do something to get elected and then gone back on his word. To me that’s integrity. NO other politician can hold a candle to Ron.
You might not like everything Ron says, but You will NEVER agree with someone 100%. You have to look at his character and what he stands for.
So the question is, are you going to keep falling for the same lies and deception from these candidates that were bought by special interests, or are you going to try somone who’s honest and straight forward? If you keep going down the same path, this country will be destroyed within the next 5 years. Ron Paul is our only hope right now to change the direction of this country.
Stop the egos, stop the propoganda, stop listening to the corporate controlled media and start doing your own homework to find out the truth. Are you in or out? This is it people.

(Ron Paul knew that he was not leading in a single state, yet he allowed the lies to be posted.) This constant lie (it was posted for MONTHS) caused the “Ron Paul Crazies” to contributed millions to him, all based on LIES! ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES WHO COULD ONLY DRAW 0 – 3 % QUIT THE RACE! And, they will not “quit” waging war with the West until Israel is gone! (They started in England, DECADES before 9/11, you Ron Paul numbnuts) and THAT MAKES RON PAUL A JEW-HATER! And no “Jew hater” will EVER be elected president of the USA!

So, you nuts who are claiming that you are going to “vote for Ron Paul” need to take a class in civics!
To “vote” for him you need to be a Republican. And, the Republicans HATE him! Get a grip and learn to count! He was tremendously organized in 2008 yet John McCain was nominated before the Ron Paul delegates even got to vote!!! You CANNOT WIN WITH ONE PERCENT!!! Thank heavens for that!

Wow… I am simply amazed by the ignorace. The division… the media induced frenzy. I have been to the middle east on NUMEROUS trips. I’ve spent a significant amount of time there. The people in the middle east are people just like us here in the US who are just trying to survive. It’s even more impossible for them because of all of the sanctions we have imposed on them that have killed hundreds of thousands of people… probably millions by now. Guess how many suicide bombers were in Iraq before 9/11? NONE… guess how many have popped up since we unconstitutionally invaded there country??? Somewhere around 500. It’s not easy to get people to kill themselves for your cause, think a little deeper.
If they were over here, bombing our countries with planes or drones, and keeping us from getting food/energy/medical supplies, and we watched countless friends and family members get maimed or killed… how the hell would we feel about them? Would you be willing to strap a bomb to yourself if they killed your mother, your father, you children, your husband, your wife, your brother, sister… friends? I BET MORE OF YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO THAN YOU REALIZE. You’re so quick to support dropping bombs on them, so quick to continue these countless, endless wars… If they hit you where it hurt, I could see you doing the same damn thing as them.
Bin Laden had specific intent to destroy America because we have been over there bombing for WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG. His main motivation for all of Al-Qaeda is the simple fact that we are OVER THERE AND WE HAVE NO BUSINESS THERE! His plan was to drag us into as many wars as possible to bankrupt us. Now he’s dead and we are bankrupt. We continue bankrupting ourselves??? WHY??? Can’t we see our presence is just going to continue breeding more suicide bombers and more terrorist attacks on America? Please THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS… do some of your own research, and don’t get it from biased sources, try unbiased accredited ones. You will be amazed.

How can someone suggest that we should hate Islam? That’s like saying people should hate Christianity or Judaism. We as a people have been infringing on the basic human rights that we endorse in our own country under The Constitution. Reading these comments following what Ron Paul said (and I agree with Ron), it is clear that there are strong feelings of anti-islamic practitioners. To me, it is a form of radical racism and the commentators on this page are seeking the suppression of all Muslim people, who are only seeking their own form of freedom through religious practice. In our government, we promote the freedom for religious practice yet we dare not allow people to live as free Muslims. The American people have sent countless innocent people to the depths of mass graves all for the sake of a supposed attack on the United States on 11 September 2001. -I say supposed because Osama bin Laden had actually denied the attacks against the USA on several occasions. In fact, in the video in which Osama “assumes” responsibility of the 9/11 attacks, he writes a note with his RIGHT hand despite the fact that he is LEFT-HANDED. Following that one video, Osama never takes responsibility for attacks again- and (even if the attacks were coordinated by Osama bin Laden) Osama had constantly left us with the message that he promoted that we leave the Muslim countries alone to govern themselves as we had asked of the British government in 1776 and that the attacks were a retaliation against American oppression. Muslims are not to be blamed for troubles in the Middle East which were created by the American government (in an effort to promote a free democracy to people who do not wish to live that way). They do not hate us for our freedoms, that would be jealousy, and as a result if it were true, then they would hate their leaders more for promoting a non-democratic state yet time and time again we see only fractions of small rebel groups which is to say that maybe they are quite content with their way of life. Who is to say that we should force our ideals unto them? The United States people should be more inclined to sympathize with their situation rather than to oppose them. Though I will not vote for Ron Paul, I understand his position and history, for those of you who have no idea, has dictated his point quite accurately. The Muslim Nations are not a threat to this country. This country is a threat to itself. We are going bankrupt as the American dollar depreciates in value. The American stock market has seen drastic drops within the past few months. AND we still feed on the fear of terrorist attacks from outside our nation despite the fact that there are several dangerous and severe domestic terrorist groups within our own borders that the United States government has done less against than a disbanded group with very little communications in other countries.
i'm not crazy i'm just reading what i see commented:
So, I speak of history. Before the commentators of this “thread” can criticize me on behalf of my “outlandish” attempts at rationalizing Ron Paul, I would like to point out that although the Muslim Nations have sought to take over various countries in the past it is not against the recurring themes of human nature in history. The Muslims did enslave other races and people but so did the Greeks, the Chinese, the Italians, the Spanish (does everyone just simply neglect that the Spanish Inquisition even took place), the AMERICANS, etc. My point herein is that the history of the Muslim nations at one point was to take over and convert but so did the Christians and the Romans (crucifixion ring any bells?–where the term Roman candle comes from). In fact, although the Muslim people conquered many lands they only attempted to convert people of non-monotheistic religions and taxed heavily other religions that were monotheistic e.g. Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism (in terms of Buddhism, look it up if you don’t believe me.) The Muslim doctrines of belief are similar to that of Christian and Jewish Doctrines. In fact the Koran even makes mention of Jesus, though he is cited as a prophet and not the messiah.
All in all, to criticize a group of people based on their beliefs is outlandish in its own right. We as a people should seek the truth of matters that are before us. That is why our constitution grants us the freedom of press. It is to ensure that the people of our nation is provided with information meant to educate us on surrounding policies that affect our daily lives. The American people are becoming less and less educated falling to the rank of 17th in relation to other countries. More and more people are more than willing to believe blindly than to divulge themselves in the meaningful tasks of furthering their education. We must not succumb to the opinions of others but to seek our own opinions through the gathering of information.
To those of you that don’t care to listen about conspiracy theorist, you don’t open yourselves up to what conspiracy theorists have to say and thus don’t comprehend that events like 9/11 are speculative. Can a 767 really fly at 510 knots at ground level as it was reported to have done so on 9/11? That would mean that that COMMERCIAL plane’s flight was equivalent to over 1 mach (above the speed of sound) at an altitude of 22,000 ft. Impossible. BUT, that was what was reported and thus it is perfectly understandable to me why people would suggest it was a conspiracy (among many other facts such as the video in my response above).
Don’t trash what I have said. Take it as information that may be or may not be right and form your own opinion based on it.
Wake Up! commented:
America were clearly involved in orchestrating 9/11 – THE EVIDENCE IS CLEARLY THERE FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO LOOK OBJECTIVELY. Muslims are no more a mixture of good and bad just as, Jews, Christians, Hindus, atheists, etc. Stop being small minded and ignorant.
9/11 gave the US and UK the excuse they needed to start a war with a foreign country for their own benefit.
The ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’ gave them the perfect excuse for a war with a foreign country.
They will do something again, probably to allow them to start war with Iran.
The Muslims get blamed over and over again. The government creates hatred towards them for their own gain.
Wake up and smell the propaganda!
The evidence is there if you want to read it. If you want to be racist and ignorant then carry on siding with the world leaders who don’t even care about us – the little people.
